Description
a)少なくとも部分的に中和されていてよい、酸基を持つ少なくとも1種のエチレン性不飽和モノマー、
b)少なくとも1種の架橋剤、
c)少なくとも1種の開始剤、
d)任意に、a)に挙げたモノマーと共重合性の1種以上のエチレン性不飽和モノマー及び
e)任意に、1種以上の水溶性ポリマー
を含有するモノマー溶液又は懸濁液の重合により、超吸収体を製造する方法であって、
i)該超吸収体粒子を、1つ以上のふるいによって分級する工程及び
ii)金属不純物を、1つ以上の磁気分離機によって除去する工程
を含み、
ここで、工程i)は、工程ii)の前に実施され、以下:
該分級にワイヤーメッシュふるいが使用され、該ワイヤーメッシュのワイヤーが、鉄少なくとも70質量%、クロム少なくとも10質量%及びニッケル2.5質量%未満の鋼からなり、かつ該磁気分離機における超吸収体粒子の処理量が、自由断面積1cm2あたり2.0~6.5g/sの範囲内であること
により特徴付けられる方法によって解決された。
該超吸収体は、モノマー溶液又は懸濁液の重合により製造され、かつ通常、水に不溶である。
材料番号1.4301を有する鋼製のワイヤーを有するふるいの使用をシミュレートした。該鋼は、クロム17.5~19.5質量%、ニッケル8.0~10.5質量%、炭素0.07質量%以下及び窒素0.11質量%以下を含有する。
材料番号1.4016を有する鋼製のワイヤーを有するふるいの使用をシミュレートした。該鋼は、クロム16.0~18.0質量%及び炭素0.08質量%以下を含有する。
Claims (15)
- a)少なくとも部分的に中和されていてよい、酸基を持つ少なくとも1種のエチレン性不飽和モノマー、
b)少なくとも1種の架橋剤、
c)少なくとも1種の開始剤、
d)任意に、a)に挙げたモノマーと共重合性の1種以上のエチレン性不飽和モノマー及び
e)任意に、1種以上の水溶性ポリマー
を含有するモノマー溶液又は懸濁液の重合により、超吸収体粒子を製造する方法であって、
i)前記超吸収体粒子を、1つ以上のふるいによって分級する工程及び
ii)金属不純物を、1つ以上の磁気分離機によって除去する工程
を含み、ここで、工程i)が工程ii)の前に実施され、以下:
前記分級にワイヤーメッシュふるいが使用され、前記ワイヤーメッシュのワイヤーが、鉄少なくとも70質量%、クロム少なくとも10質量%及びニッケル2.5質量%未満の鋼からなり、かつ前記磁気分離機における超吸収体粒子の処理量が、自由断面積1cm2あたり2.0~6.5g/sの範囲内であること
を特徴とする、前記方法。 - 前記ワイヤーメッシュのワイヤーが、鉄少なくとも75質量%、クロム少なくとも12質量%及びニッケル1.0質量%未満の鋼からなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ワイヤーメッシュのワイヤーが、鉄少なくとも78質量%、クロム少なくとも14質量%及びニッケル0.5質量%未満の鋼からなることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記ワイヤーメッシュのワイヤーが、鉄少なくとも80質量%、クロム少なくとも16質量%及びニッケル0.1質量%未満の鋼からなることを特徴とする、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記磁気分離機における超吸収体粒子の処理量が、自由断面積1cm2あたり2.5~6.0g/sであることを特徴とする、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記磁気分離機における超吸収体粒子の処理量が、自由断面積1cm2あたり3.0~5.5g/sであることを特徴とする、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記磁気分離機における超吸収体粒子の処理量が、自由断面積1cm2あたり3.5~5.0g/sであることを特徴とする、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記超吸収体粒子が、前記分級において及び/又は前記磁気分離機中で、40~90℃の温度を有することを特徴とする、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記超吸収体粒子が、前記分級において及び/又は前記磁気分離機中で、1~20質量%の水分量を有することを特徴とする、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記磁気分離機が、個々の棒状磁石からなることを特徴とする、請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記棒状磁石が、15~45mmの直径を有することを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記棒状磁石が、平行な格子として配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項10又は11に記載の方法。
- 前記棒状磁石間の水平距離が10~35mmであることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記棒状磁石間の垂直距離が30~75mmであることを特徴とする、請求項12又は13に記載の方法。
- 前記工程i)が、前記方法における最後の分級であることを特徴とする、請求項1から14までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
