運動力学的ボックス6は、油圧ライン15を介して、各車輪12に1個ずつ設けられた4個の油圧駆動モータ8に対して接続されている。アクセルペダルが踏み込まれた時には、アクセルペダルに応答して連続的に調節可能なリレーバルブが作動して、運動力学的ボックス6から油圧駆動モータ8へと、加圧状態の油圧流体を流れさせ、これにより、車輪12を、7,000~14,000rpmで回転駆動することとなる。アクセルをさらに踏み込むと、リレーバルブがさらに開き、より多くの油圧流体が油圧モータ8へと流れることとなり、油圧モータ8をより高速で回転させる。
4個のオルタネータ30及び4個の専用バッテリ34が、好ましくは、乗用車に対して電力を供給するために設けられている。オルタネータ30は、好ましくは、ブレーキング用油圧ポンプと同様に、各車輪につき1個ずつ設けられ、オルタネータ歯車32が、フライホイール14に対して近接して係合可能に配置されている。オルタネータ30が常時回転している場合には、充電負荷は、必要な時にのみ印加されるべきである。第1のバッテリは、好ましくは照明専用とすることができ、好ましくは後輪オルタネータの1つに対して接続される。第2のバッテリは、好ましくはHVAC専用とすることができ、他方の後輪オルタネータに対して接続することができる。第3のバッテリは、ホーン、ラジオ、ワイパ、ロック、ウィンドウ、に専用とすることができ、好ましくは前輪オルタネータの1つに対して接続することができる。第4のバッテリは、好ましくは、ジャッキ、ブレーキ、及び制御バルブ、に専用とすることができ、他方の前輪オルタネータに対して接続することができる。スーパーキャパシタパック36は、好ましくは、各バッテリを充電するために、各バッテリに専用のものである。充電ポート38が、好ましくは、バッテリを充電システム37に対して接続するために、設けられている。
ブレーキペダルを踏み込むと、オルタネータの歯車32が、まずフライホイール14に対して噛合することとなる。充電負荷は、乗用車を減速させる効果を有することとなる。ブレーキペダルを離すと、オルタネータの歯車32は、フライホイール14から噛合を解除することとなる。ブレーキペダルは、元の位置に戻ることとなる。
乗用車は、好ましくは、4輪の独立したサスペンションを備えている。各車輪は、フレームに対して取り付けられたスプリング付き車輪支持体すなわち「車輪アーム」42によって、支持することができる。スプリング43は、車輪を、地面に向けて強制的に押し付ける。好ましい実施形態によれば、車輪支持体42は、車輪12と、フライホイールと、油圧駆動モータ8と、オルタネータ歯車32と、ブレーキング用油圧ポンプ歯車26と、ショックポンプ22と、を支持することとなる。前輪アーム42は、また、ステアリングアセンブリに対しても、支持を与えることとなる。
ステアリングは、スリップジョイント式ステアリングコラム44が、シャーシの上下動に対応し得るようステアリングアセンブリ46に対して接続されている点を除いては、従来の自動車と同じように動作することとなる。従来の車輪ナックル48が、好ましくは、ステアリングアセンブリの制御下での旋回を可能とするために、フライホイールの車輪側に設けられている。
各車輪は、それ自体が「発電所」をなすユニットである。発電所は、それぞれ別個の、ドライブトレイン(動力伝達装置)と、サスペンションと、ブレーキと、充電システムと、を有している。代替的な実施形態によれば、単一の装置が、モータとポンプと発電機とを組み合わせたものとして機能することとなる。
Claims (5)
- 自動車であって、
フレームと、
シャーシと、
前記フレームに対して接続された複数のスプリング付勢付き車輪支持体と、
ドライブシャフトによって各車輪支持体に対して取り付けられた車輪と、
前記車輪に対して相対回転しないように、前記ドライブシャフトに対して又は前記車輪に対して固定されたフライホイールと、
前記フレームと前記シャーシとの間に配置された折り畳み可能な蛇腹であるとともに、この折り畳み可能な蛇腹内に圧力を蓄積し得るよう、前記シャーシの重量を受領するように構成された折り畳み可能な蛇腹と、
一端が前記フレームに対して接続されかつ第二端が前記シャーシに対して接続された複数の張力部材であるとともに、前記シャーシを前記フレームに向けて引っ張ることにより、前記折り畳み可能な蛇腹内に追加の圧力を蓄積するように構成された張力部材と、
前記フレームと前記シャーシとの間に位置し、前記フレームに対しての前記シャーシの横方向移動を防止するための、複数のガイドポストと、
前記フレームと前記シャーシとの間に位置した複数の電動ジャッキであるとともに、前記フレームから離間する向きに前記シャーシを持ち上げることにより、前記折り畳み可能な蛇腹内に吸引力を生成する、複数の電動ジャッキと、
少なくとも1つの車輪に隣接して配置されかつ前記ドライブシャフトに対して接続された油圧駆動モータであるとともに、油圧ラインを介して前記折り畳み可能な蛇腹に対しても接続されていて、この油圧駆動モータに対して油圧動力が供給されるようになっている、油圧駆動モータと、
オルタネータであるとともに、このオルタネータに対して運動力学的動力を供給するための、前記フライホイールに対して可逆的に噛合可能なオルタネータ歯車を有し、さらに、バッテリを充電するために前記バッテリに対して電気的に接続されたオルタネータと、
ブレーキング用油圧ポンプであるとともに、前記フライホイールに対して可逆的に噛合可能な油圧ポンプ歯車を有し、さらに、前記自動車の移動時に前記油圧ポンプ歯車が前記フライホイールに対して噛合した時に前記折り畳み可能な蛇腹に対して加圧流体を供給するために、前記折り畳み可能な蛇腹に対して接続されたブレーキング用油圧ポンプと、
前記フライホイールの回転を停止させて前記自動車を不動状態に維持するために、前記フライホイールに対して可逆的に噛合可能な静止ブレーキング/パーキング歯車と、
一端が前記フレームに対して取り付けられかつ第二端が前記車輪支持体に対して取り付けられたショックポンプであるとともに、前記自動車の移動時に前記ショックポンプが圧縮された際に前記折り畳み可能な蛇腹に対して加圧流体を供給するために、油圧ラインを介して前記折り畳み可能な蛇腹に対して接続されたショックポンプと、を含み、
前記シャーシの重量と、前記張力部材の張力と、前記ブレーキング用油圧ポンプ及び前記ショックポンプから受領した加圧流体と、に基づいて前記折り畳み可能な蛇腹内に展開された圧力が、前記加圧流体を前記油圧駆動モータへと強制的に供給して、前記ドライブシャフトと前記フライホイールと前記車輪とを加速させるために使用され、
前記車輪支持体のそれぞれは、独立的に、前記フレームによって支持されて前記フレームに対して接続されている、自動車。 - 前記バッテリを充電するための、充電システム及び充電ポートをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の自動車。
- ガソリン式エンジンをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の自動車。
- ガソリン式エンジンを有していない、請求項1に記載の自動車。
