超硬炭化タングステン(WC)を含む基材;ならびに
Coを含むVIII族金属、およびCrを含むVI族金属
を含む、多結晶焼結体(100)。 - VI族金属が、超硬WC基材中に、VIII族金属との合金として存在する、請求項1に記載の多結晶焼結体(100)。
- VI族金属が、超硬WC基材からcBN層(210)へ広がる拡散層中に、VIII族金属との合金として存在する、請求項1に記載の多結晶焼結体(100)。
- クロムとコバルトとの合金として、クロムが存在する、請求項1に記載の多結晶焼結体(100)。
- VI族金属が、超硬WC基材から離れたcBN層(210)中に、アルミニウム源との合金として存在する、請求項1に記載の多結晶焼結体(100)。
- cBN層(210)への浸透が、液相において起こる、請求項3に記載の多結晶焼結体(100)。
- 液相における浸透が、高温高圧において起こる、請求項6に記載の多結晶焼結体(100)。
- クロムが、超硬WC基材の近くに存在する、請求項4に記載の多結晶焼結体(100)。
- cBN層(210)が、超硬WC基材に焼結される、請求項3に記載の多結晶焼結体(100)。

- cBN層(210)を含む多結晶焼結体(100)であって、cBN層(210)が、
