Description
本出願は、2016年9月12日に出願され、「電池モジュールおよび使用方法」と題された米国仮特許出願第62/393,446号の利益を主張し、その開示は参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
本開示は、再充電可能電池モジュール、および再充電可能電池モジュールの取り扱い方法を含む関連方法に関する。
池モジュール20およびその中の再充電可能セル30は、電力システム10のいくつかの実施態様では互いに同じに構成される。

Claims (21)
- 第1の位置と第2の位置との間で移動可能なカバーを有し、ラックシステムに取り付けられるように構成されたハウジングと、
反対の電気的極性を有する第1端子および第2端子を少なくとも含む複数の端子であって、前記第1端子が第1端子接続部および第2端子接続部を有し、前記第2端子が一つの端子接続部のみを有する複数の端子と、
前記ハウジング内にあり、および前記第1端子および前記第2端子と電気的に接続されている複数の再充電可能セルであって、電気エネルギーを蓄積するように構成される、複数の再充電可能セルと、
前記ハウジングの異なる位置にある複数のリフト部材であって、再充電可能電池モジュールが複数の異なる向きに持ち上げられることを可能にする、前記再充電可能電池モジュールのための複数のリフトポイントを提供する、複数のリフト部材と、を含み、
前記カバーが前記第1の位置にあるとき、前記第1端子接続部は前記ハウジングの外側に露出し、および前記第2端子接続部は前記ハウジングの外側に露出しておらず、また、前記カバーが前記第2の位置にあるとき、前記第2端子接続部は前記ハウジングの外側に露出し、前記第1端子接続部は前記ハウジングの外側に露出しておらず、
ある時点において前記第1端子接続部および前記第2端子接続部の一方のみが直接に外部の導電体と電気的に接続されることが可能であるように、前記カバーが構成されている再充電可能電池モジュール。 - 前記リフト部材と係合するように構成されるハンドルをさらに含み、前記ハンドルは、前記再充電可能電池モジュールを持ち上げるために使用可能である、請求項1に記載の再充電可能電池モジュール。
- 前記ハンドルは、前記再充電可能電池モジュールを前記異なる向きに持ち上げることができるように、異なる時点で前記リフト部材のうちの異なるリフト部材と係合するように構成される、請求項2に記載の再充電可能電池モジュール。
- 前記リフト部材は、前記再充電可能電池モジュールを異なる時点で実質的に水平な向きおよび実質的に垂直な向きに持ち上げることを可能にする前記リフトポイントを提供する、請求項1に記載の再充電可能電池モジュール。
- 前記リフト部材は、異なる時点で、前記ハウジングに対して外側に延ばされ、かつ、内側に引き込まれるように個々に構成される、請求項1に記載の再充電可能電池モジュール。
- 前記リフト部材は、異なる時点で前記ハウジングの異なる面から外側に延ばされるように個々に構成される、請求項1に記載の再充電可能電池モジュール。
- 前記リフト部材は、異なる時点で前記ハウジングの対向面から外側に延ばされるように個々に構成される、請求項1に記載の再充電可能電池モジュール。
- 前記リフト部材の前記異なる位置は、前記ハウジングの周縁にある、請求項1に記載の再充電可能電池モジュール。
- 前記ハウジングが直方体であり、前記リフト部材が前記直方体の複数の面の複数の隅に隣接して配置される、請求項1記載の再充電可能電池モジュール。
- 前記リフト部材の部分が前記ハウジングの外側に延びる、請求項1に記載の再充電可能電池モジュール。
- 前記リフト部材はフレキシブルであり、前記ハウジングの外側に延びる前記リフト部材の前記部分は、前記ハウジングに隣接する位置へと曲げられるように構成される、請求項10に記載の再充電可能電池モジュール。
- 前記ハウジングは、前記ハウジングの対向面の間に個々に延び、かつ前記リフト部材を受け入れるように構成される複数の開口部を含む、請求項1に記載の再充電可能電池モジュール。
- 前記リフト部材が前記複数の開口部のうちの複数に受け入れられるフレキシブルストラップを個々に含む、請求項12に記載の再充電可能電池モジュール。
- 前記フレキシブルストラップは、前記ハウジングの部分の周りに閉ループを形成するように個々に構成される、請求項13に記載の再充電可能電池モジュール。
- 前記複数の再充電可能セルと前記複数の端子の前記第1端子接続部のみとの間に接続されるヒューズを含む請求項1に記載の再充電可能電池モジュール。
- 前記カバーは、前記ある時点において、外側に露出した前記第1端子接続部および外側に露出した前記第2端子接続部のうちのいずれかを介して電気エネルギーを伝導することができるように構成される、請求項1に記載の再充電可能電池モジュール。
- 前記複数の端子のうちの前記一方が正極端子である、請求項1に記載の再充電可能電池モジュール。
- 前記第2端子接続部は、前記ヒューズなしで前記再充電可能セルと電気的に接続される、請求項15に記載の再充電可能電池モジュール。
- 前記再充電可能セルは、前記第1端子接続部を介して他の電池モジュールと並列に電気エネルギーを伝導する、請求項15に記載の再充電可能電池モジュール。
- 前記再充電可能セルは、他の電池モジュールと直列に、前記第2端子接続部を介して電気エネルギーを伝導する、請求項15に記載の再充電可能電池モジュール。
- 前記導電体は、前記再充電可能セルと前記再充電可能電池モジュールの外部にある装置との間で電気エネルギーを伝導するように構成される、請求項1に記載の再充電可能電池モジュール。
