Description
吸収性繊維材料を含む第1層であって、前記第1層は第1の面及び前記第1の面と反対側の第2の面を有し、前記第1の面は使用時に適用領域に面するようになされており、好ましくは創傷領域に面するようになされた第1層と、
吸収性材料を含む第2層であって、前記第1層の前記第2の面に配置された第2層と、
を含み、
第1層全体を通ってその前記第1の面から前記第2の面へと、及びさらに前記第2層の少なくとも一部の中へと、複数の流路が延長し、前記流路は0.01mm~3.00mm、好ましくは0.05mm~2.00mm、さらに好ましくは0.10mm~1.00mmの平均直径を有する。
(i)流体を吸収し及び保持することが可能な吸収性繊維材料を含む第1層を提供する工程であって、前記第1層は第1の面及び前記第1の面と反対側の第2の面を有し、前記第1の面は使用時に適用領域に面するようになされる、工程と、
(ii)前記第1層の前記第2の面に、吸収性材料を含む第2層を提供する工程と、
(iii)前記第1層全体を通って前記第1の面から前記第2の面まで延長し、及びさらに前記第2層の少なくとも一部の中へと延長する、複数の流路を作製する工程と、
を含み、
前記流路は0.01~3.00mm、好ましくは0.05~2.00mm、さらに好ましくは0.10mm~1.00mmの平均直径を有する。
使用材料
Exufiber(登録商標)(サイズ10×10cm;製品コード:REF603301;ロット:16064983;使用期限:2019年5月);Molnlycke Health Careから市販(吸収性繊維材料);
Lyofoam(登録商標)Max(サイズ10×10cm;REF603201-00;ロット15108622;使用期限:2018年09月);Molnlycke Health Careから市販;(吸収性発泡体);
Display Mount(商標)接着剤(スプレー接着剤;140A02PL6;有効期限2017年5月;MSDSNo.27-7170-7/16.06.2014);3Mから市販。
スプレー接着剤をLyofoam(登録商標)Max製品の発泡体側に、2回の適用工程において20cmの距離から適用した。この接着剤スプレーコーティングを30秒間休ませてから、Exufiber(登録商標)製品を接着剤コーティング上に手で適用した。
以下に詳述する試験方法に従い、60°の傾斜を有する傾斜平面を用いて吸収能力を試験した。試験方法の目的は、試験液体が一定の流速で加えられた場合に、収縮及び重力に曝された材料の吸収能力、及びそうした材料における液体分布を決定することであり、例えば試験の1つの意図は創傷処置の状況を模することである。
60度傾斜で固定された傾斜試験板11(典型的にはプレキシガラス製)を有する、図3に例示された傾斜平面試験装置を用いた。試験開始前に、以下の準備を行う:1)出口穴16まで繋がる管を有するシリンジポンプに試験液体(EN13726-1による溶液A)を充てんする;2)サイズ100×100mmの試験片を切り取る;3)厚さ計を用いて、4mmHgの(試験片への)適用圧力に対応する厚みを測定する(100×100mmの試験片上へのこの圧力に対応する重量は全体で544gである);4)試験片(即ち調製した実施形態のうちの1つ;100×100mm)を傾斜試験板11上に、繊維(Exufiber(登録商標))側が試験板に面するように適用する。図3に示されるように、傾斜試験板11には液体出口16を覆って中心に置かれた100×100mm正方形17の印を付けて、試験片を配置すべき位置を示す;5)測定された厚み(厚さ計によって測定)に対応するスペーサ13をネジ12に挿入して、(試験片上の)4mmHgの圧力を達成するための正確な距離を確保する;及び6)ネジ12をカバープレート15の穴14内に挿入しネジ上の雌ネジで締め付けることによって、カバープレート15(典型的にプレキシガラス製)を傾斜試験板11上に付着させる(それにより試験片を2枚のプレート11と15の間に挟む)。
実施形態A及び参考実施形態Cを上述した試験方法において試験した。3ml、7ml、及び10mlの溶液Aを添加して溶液Aの吸収を、実施形態の両側(例えばExufiber(登録商標)側及び発泡体側)における湿潤/吸収面積を測定することによって、経時でモニタリングした。透明なオーバーヘッドフィルム上に湿潤領域に対応する線を引くことによって、この面積を視覚的に検査し、記録し、及び測定した。その後フィルム上の線を引いた領域を切り取り、及び秤量して吸収の面積を得た(対照としてフィルム1cm2当たりの重量を使用する)。各測定についての測定された吸収面積の比率(Exufiber(登録商標)側/Lyofoam(登録商標)Max側)を以下の表1に示す。なお、各実施形態(A及び参考C)につき3枚の試験片を用い、ここに示された結果(太字で強調)は算出された平均値である。

Claims (18)
- 吸収性繊維材料を含む第1層であって、前記第1層は第1の面及び前記第1の面と反対側の第2の面を有し、前記第1の面は使用時に適用領域に面するようになされた第1層と、
吸収性材料を含む第2層であって、前記第2層は厚さを有し、前記第1層の前記第2の面に配置された第2層と、
を含み、
前記第1層全体を通してその前記第1の面から前記第2の面まで、及びさらに前記第2層の厚さの一部の中へと、複数の流路が延長し、前記複数の流路は前記第2層の全厚さまでは延長しておらず、前記流路は0.01mm~3.00mmの平均直径を有する、複合材料。 - 前記繊維材料は水と接触された場合にヒドロゲルを形成することができる、請求項1に記載の複合材料。
- 前記第2層は前記第1層の前記第2の面の少なくとも一部と直に物理的に接触している、請求項1又は2に記載の複合材料。
- 前記複合材料はさらに、前記第1層と前記第2層との間の境界面に接着性材料を含む、請求項1又は2に記載の複合材料。
- 吸収性材料を含む前記第2層は親水性発泡体を含むか又はそれである、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の複合材料。
- 吸収性材料を含む前記第2層はポリウレタンフォームを含むか又はそれである、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載の複合材料。
- 前記流路は、前記第1層及び前記第2層及びそれら2つの層の間の境界面に対して実質的に直角に配置される、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載の複合材料。
- 前記第1層の前記第1の面の全面積の少なくとも20%において流路が存在しない、請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載の複合材料。
- 前記流路はパターン状に配置されている、請求項1~8のいずれか1項に記載の複合材料。
- 前記第1層は少なくとも50%の流体保持能力を有し、前記流体保持能力は、EN13726-1:2002に従い最初に0.9重量%生理食塩水の最大量を吸収させて40mmHgの圧力に2分間曝した場合に、生理食塩水を保持する能力として定義される、請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載の複合材料。
- 前記流路の少なくとも一部はその長さに沿って変化する直径を有し、及び/又は流路の少なくとも1つのサブセットは流路の別のサブセットの直径とは異なる直径を有する、請求項1~10のいずれか1項に記載の複合材料。
- 前記第1層の前記第1の面の全面積当たりの流路の面積密度は、1平方センチメートル当たり0.5流路~1平方センチメートル当たり200流路である、請求項1~11のいずれか1項に記載の複合材料。
- 前記第1層は不織布材料であるか又はそれを含む、請求項1~12のいずれか1項に記載の複合材料。
- 前記吸収性繊維材料は、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリ多糖類、及びポリアクリル酸類からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つのポリマーであるか又はそれを含む、請求項1~13のいずれか1項に記載の複合材料。
- 前記繊維材料は、架橋ポリビニルアルコール又はカルボキシメチルセルロースであるか又はそれを含む、請求項1~14のいずれか1項に記載の複合材料。
- 請求項1~15のいずれか1項に記載の複合材料を含む、医療用被覆体。
- 前記医療用被覆体はさらに、前記第2層を覆うバッキング層、並びに/又は前記医療用被覆体を創傷部位及び/若しくは創傷周辺領域に接着するための接着剤層若しくはコーティングを含む、請求項16に記載の医療用被覆体。
- 請求項1~15のいずれか1項に記載の複合材料を製造するための方法であって、
(i)吸収性繊維材料を含む第1層を提供する工程であって、前記第1層は第1の面及び前記第1の面と反対側の第2の面を有し、前記第1の面は使用時に適用領域に面するようになされる、工程と、
(ii)前記第1層の前記第2の面に、吸収性材料を含む第2層を提供する工程と、
(iii)前記第1層の全体を通って前記第1の面から前記第2の面まで延長し、及び第2層の一部の中へとさらに延長する複数の流路を作製する工程であって、前記流路は0.01mm~3.00mmの平均直径を有する工程と、を含む方法。
