Description
Rin=d×(nx-ny)
(円偏光板)
反射防止フィルム、偏光子、位相差フィルムおよび粘着剤層を順に含む円偏光板を準備した。
上記円偏光板をOLEDパネルに付着した。上記OLEDパネルは410nm~550nm範囲の波長に対する平均反射率が40%であり、600nm~650nm範囲の波長に対する平均反射率が48%であるLGD社製品を使用した。
反射防止フィルムに対して、反射色および反射率を測定して表面反射特性を評価した。表1は反射防止フィルムの最低反射波長および、反射色(L*a*b*色座標)および反射率測定結果を示す。
上記実施例および比較例の円偏光板が付着されたOLEDパネルに対して、円偏光板の構成による反射視感を評価した。この時、OLEDパネルは電界Off状態である。具体的には、円偏光板が付着されたOLEDパネルに対してL*a*b*色座標を測定した。D65光源環境でL*a*b*色座標基準a*が8未満でありb*が-8.5超過である場合、反射視感が優秀であると評価することができる。
反射防止フィルムの最低反射波長と位相差フィルムの位相差を、下記の表2~表6のように調節した円偏光板をOLEDパネルに付着した後、上記方法により反射色を評価し、その結果を下記の表2~表6および図6~図9に示した。表2~表6の実施例1~12および比較例1~28の円偏光板の430nm波長の光に対する透過率は約17%である。
ブルーカットダイを含む粘着剤層の430nm波長に対する透過率を下記の表7のように調節した円偏光板を実施例13~20および比較例29および30で準備した。実施例13~20および比較例29および30はいずれも、反射防止フィルムの最低反射波長は430nmであり、位相差フィルムを550nm波長に対する面内位相差値は140.0nmであり、位相差フィルムの遅相軸と偏光子の吸収軸がなす角度は45度であり、これを除いては実施例1と同じである。上記円偏光板をOLEDパネルに付着した。OLEDパネルは実施例1と同じである。粘着剤層の透過率はブルーカットダイの濃度を高めるほど減少する。例えば、430nm波長に対する透過率43%である粘着剤は、厚さ20μm粘着剤対比ブルーカットダイ染料Eusorb UV-390を0.3wt%、Eusorb UV-1990 4wt%で添加したサンプルであり、430nm波長に対する透過率が10%である粘着剤は、上記透過率が43%である粘着剤と同じ含量の染料を含んだ粘着剤の厚さを2.7倍増加させて製作したサンプルであり、430nm波長に対する透過率が100%である粘着剤は、上記透過率が43%である粘着剤対比ブルーカットダイ染料を添加していない透明な粘着剤を使用したサンプルである。
実施例13~20および比較例29および30の円偏光板が付着されたOLEDパネルに対して、上記評価例1と同様にして反射色を評価し、その結果を下記の表7および図10~13に示した。下記の表7で△xyはOLEDパネルのwhite発光色の色座標がブルーカットダイを含む粘着剤層が適用された時と適用されていない時のx、y色座標の差値を意味し、その値が大きいほどOLEDパネルを駆動する時に出る発光光の色変化が激しいことを意味する。

Claims (13)
- 反射防止フィルム、偏光子、R(450)/R(550)値が0.99~1.01である位相差フィルム、および粘着剤層を順に含む円偏光板であって、前記反射防止フィルムの最低反射波長は470nm以下であり、前記位相差フィルムの550nmの波長に対する面内位相差値は136.0nm以上であり、前記円偏光板の430nmの波長に対する透過率が30%以下であり、前記反射防止フィルムは、380nm~780nmの波長範囲において、反射率が1%以下である波長帯域を1個有し、前記粘着剤層は370nm~430nmの範囲内の波長で最大吸光度を示す染料を含み、前記円偏光板は、460nmおよび550nmの波長に対する透過率がそれぞれ40%以上である、円偏光板(R(λ)はλnmの波長に対する面内位相差値である。)。
- 前記反射防止フィルムの最低反射波長は390nm以上である、請求項1に記載の円偏光板。
- 前記反射防止フィルムのヘイズは1%以下である、請求項1または2に記載の円偏光板。
- 前記反射防止フィルムは、反射色がL*a*b*色座標基準でa*>0、b*>0およびa*<b*を満足する、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の円偏光板。
- 前記偏光子の550nmの波長に対する透過率は40%~50%の範囲内である、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の円偏光板。
- 前記位相差フィルムの550nmの波長に対する面内位相差値は143nm以下である、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の円偏光板。
- 前記位相差フィルムの遅相軸は前記偏光子の吸収軸と43度~47度をなす、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の円偏光板。
- 前記位相差フィルムは液晶重合フィルムまたは高分子延伸フィルムである、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の円偏光板。
- 前記円偏光板は、430nmの波長に対する透過率が4%以上である、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載の円偏光板。
- OLEDパネルおよび前記OLEDパネルの一面に配置された請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載された円偏光板を含む、OLED装置。
- 前記OLEDパネルは、410nm~500nmの領域の波長に対する平均反射率が45%以下であり、600nm~650nmの領域の波長に対する平均反射率が50%以下である、請求項10に記載のOLED装置。
- 前記円偏光板が付着されたOLEDパネルの550nmの波長に対する反射率が1.3%以下である、請求項10または11に記載のOLED装置。
- 前記円偏光板が付着されたOLEDパネルの反射色はL*a*b*色座標基準でa*<8およびb*>-8.5を満足する、請求項10~12のいずれか一項に記載のOLED装置。
