Description
本出願は、2017年9月29日に出願された米国特許仮出願第62/565,988号に対する優先権を主張する、2018年9月11日に出願された米国特許出願第16/128,464号に対する優先権を主張し、それぞれの内容全体が参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
図1は、ユーザが転倒したかどうか、及び/又は支援を必要とし得るかどうかを判定するための例示的なシステム100を示す。システム100は、モバイルデバイス102、サーバコンピュータシステム104、通信デバイス106、及びネットワーク108を含む。

式中、magは、そのチャネルの加速度の大きさであり、a(n)は、そのチャネルの加速度信号300のn番目のサンプルであり、「max」は、加速度信号300のサンプル、nwindowのスライドウィンドウにわたって計算された最大値である。いくつかの場合では、nwindowは、0.2秒又は約0.2秒の時間間隔にわたるサンプル数に対応できる。例えば、加速度信号300のサンプリング周波数が800Hzである場合、nwindowは160とすることができる。実際には、nwindowに対して他の値も可能である。

式中、f1,f2,f3,...は、加速度及び向き信号(例えば、衝撃の大きさ、ジャーク、第3のゼロ交差までの時間、衝撃前の活動、支持動作又は動揺動作の存在、及び/又はサンプル集団から判定された衝撃後特徴)から計算される特徴であり、p(fall)は、サンプル集団からの年齢、性別、及び/又は他の生体情報に基づいて判定できる、転倒の事前確率である。同様に、転倒していない衝撃の事後確率は、以下のように計算することができる。

Claims (18)
- 1つ又は複数のプロセッサが、ある期間中のユーザの動作を示す動きデータを取得することと、
前記1つ又は複数のプロセッサが、前記期間中の前記ユーザの心拍数を示す心拍数データを取得することと、
前記1つ又は複数のプロセッサが、前記心拍数データに基づいて、前記ユーザの経時的な心拍数を示す減衰曲線を決定することと、
前記1つ又は複数のプロセッサが、前記動きデータ、前記心拍数データ、及び前記減衰曲線に基づいて、前記ユーザが転倒したことを判定することと、
前記ユーザが転倒したことの判定の後、前記1つ又は複数のプロセッサが、前記ユーザが転倒したことを示す1つ又は複数の通知を生成することと、を含む方法。 - 前記ユーザが転倒したことを判定することは、
前記心拍数データに基づいて、前記ユーザの心拍数における変化を判定し、
前記ユーザの心拍数における前記変化に基づいて、前記ユーザが転倒したことを判定することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記ユーザが転倒したことを判定することは、
前記心拍数データに基づいて、前記ユーザの心拍数が増加したことを判定し、

前記心拍数データに基づいて、前記減衰曲線の第1の時定数を判定し、

前記時定数が定数値より小さいことの判定に基づいて、前記ユーザが転倒したことを判定することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第2の時定数は、前記ユーザによる運動の終了に対応する、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記1つ又は複数のプロセッサの少なくともいくつかは、ウェアラブル電子デバイス上に実装されている、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 1つ又は複数のプロセッサと、
命令を記憶するコンピュータ読み取り可能な1つ又は複数の記録媒体と、を備え、
前記1つ又は複数のプロセッサにより前記命令が実行されたときに、前記1つ又は複数のプロセッサが、
ある期間中のユーザの動作を示す動きデータを取得することと、
前記期間中の前記ユーザの心拍数を示す心拍数データを取得することと、
前記心拍数データに基づいて、前記ユーザの経時的な心拍数を示す減衰曲線を決定することと、
前記動きデータ、前記心拍数データ、及び前記減衰曲線に基づいて、前記ユーザが転倒したことを判定することと、
前記ユーザが転倒したことの判定の後、前記ユーザが転倒したことを示す1つ又は複数の通知を生成することと、を含む動作を実行するように構成されている、システム。 - 前記ユーザが転倒したことを判定することは、
前記心拍数データに基づいて、前記ユーザの心拍数における変化を判定し、
前記ユーザの心拍数における前記変化に基づいて、前記ユーザが転倒したことを判定することを含む、請求項7に記載のシステム。 - 前記ユーザが転倒したことを判定することは、

1つ又は複数のプロセッサにより前記命令が実行されたときに、前記1つ又は複数のプロセッサが、
ある期間中のユーザの動作を示す動きデータを取得することと、
前記期間中の前記ユーザの心拍数を示す心拍数データを取得することと、
前記心拍数データに基づいて、前記ユーザの経時的な心拍数を示す減衰曲線を決定することと、
前記動きデータ、前記心拍数データ、及び前記減衰曲線に基づいて、前記ユーザが転倒したことを判定することと、
