Description
Claims (19)
- 血管内熱交換カテーテル(12)または外部の熱交換パッド(18)からの作動流体と熱交換するための熱交換システム(14)であって、
流体カセット(50)と前記カテーテル(12)またはパッド(18)との間に作動流体を循環させるように構成される作動流体回路(14/20、L1/L3、12/18、L2/L4)、および、
コンプレッサと、間に前記流体カセット(50)が配置可能な伝熱プレート(30、32)との間に冷媒を循環させるように構成される冷媒回路(14/20、38、40、42、100、102、104、106、108)、を備え、
前記伝熱プレート(30、32)はそれぞれ、冷媒が通って流れる通路とともに形成され、
前記伝熱プレート(30、32)は、互いの間に前記流体カセット(50)を着脱自在に受け入れるスロットを有する第1の伝熱プレート(30)と第2の伝熱プレート(32)とを備え、
前記第1の伝熱プレートだけが冷媒入口管および冷媒出口管を含み、前記第2の伝熱プレートは前記第1の伝熱プレートに結合され、これにより、前記第2の伝熱プレートが前記第1の伝熱プレートから冷媒を受け入れるように構成され、
前記冷媒回路(14/20、38、40、42、100、102、104、106、108)は、前記第1の伝熱プレート(30)および前記第2の伝熱プレート(32)を含み、且つ、前記作動流体回路(14/20、L1/L3、12/18、L2/L4)と直接的に熱交換するように構成され、前記熱交換システム(14)は、前記冷媒を循環させるための唯一の冷媒ループ、および、前記作動流体を循環させるための1つの作動流体ループ、を備え、前記冷媒は、前記コンプレッサ(102)から冷媒供給ライン(104)を通って前記第1の伝熱プレート(30)および前記第2の伝熱プレート(32)に流れ、そして、冷媒戻りライン(108)を通って前記コンプレッサ(102)へ戻るように循環し、
前記流体カセット(50)は、フレームと、前記フレームに結合された膜アセンブリとを有し、
前記流体カセット(50)が前記スロットに受け入れられた状態において前記膜アセンブリが膨張すると、前記流体カセット(50)の前記膜アセンブリは、前記第1の伝熱プレート(30)および前記第2の伝熱プレート(32)とそれぞれ接触し、これにより、前記流体カセット(50)を通って流れる前記作動流体と、前記第1および第2の伝熱プレート(30、32)を通って流れる前記冷媒とが熱交換し、カセットスロット(34)は、前記流体カセット(50)を受け入れるために前記伝熱プレート(30、32)間に画定され、前記スロット(34)のそれぞれの側壁(36)のすぐ内側に、それぞれのカセットレセプタクル(R1、R2)が位置し、前記スロット(34)は、前記側壁(36)間を延びて、前記レセプタクル(R1、R2)で終端し、前記レセプタクル(R1、R2)は前記スロット(34)よりも幅広く、前記スロットの対向する両側面を超えて延在し、前記フレームの側部レールは、前記レセプタクル(R1、R2)に摺動可能に係合可能である、熱交換システム(14)。 - 前記作動流体回路(14/20、L1/L3、12/18、L2/L4)は、前記流体カセット(50)と前記カテーテル(12)との間に作動流体を循環させるように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記作動流体回路(14/20、L1/L3、12/18、L2/L4)は、前記流体カセット(50)と前記パッド(18)との間に作動流体を循環させるように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記伝熱プレート(30、32)間の距離は、1.016mm未満である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記伝熱プレート(30、32)間の距離は、0.7366mmと0.7874mmとの間にある、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記伝熱プレート(30、32)は、正方形に近い、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記伝熱プレート(30、32)は、左右の側壁(36)に沿って互いに隣接する、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- それぞれの垂直方向に細長い前記カセットレセプタクル(R1、R2)は、それぞれの前記側壁(36)のすぐ内側に位置し、前記スロット(34)は、前記側壁(36)間を延びて、前記レセプタクル(R1、R2)で終端し、前記伝熱プレート(30、32)間の距離の方向における前記カセットレセプタクル(R1、R2)の幅は、同じ方向における前記スロット(34)の幅よりも広い、請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 熱交換システムであって、
互いに平行な第1の伝熱プレート(30)および第2の伝熱プレート(32)であって、それらの間にスロット(34)を定め、前記スロット(34)は、作動流体カセット(50)を着脱自在に受け入れるように構成され、前記作動流体カセット(50)は、それを通って作動流体が作動流体回路(14/20、L1/L3、12/18、L2/L4)の血管内カテーテル(12)へ/から流れる、第1の伝熱プレート(30)および第2の伝熱プレート(32)、および、
前記第1の伝熱プレート(30)および前記第2の伝熱プレート(32)と熱交換するために前記第1の伝熱プレート(30)および前記第2の伝熱プレート(32)に冷媒を供給する冷媒回路(14/20、38、40、42、100、102、104、106、108)であって、前記冷媒回路は、コンプレッサ(102)を含み、前記冷媒回路は、前記カテーテル(12)が位置され得る患者の血流以外、作動流体回路と熱接触する唯一の流体回路である、冷媒回路(14/20、38、40、42、100、102、104、106、108)、を備え、
前記冷媒回路(14/20、38、40、42、100、102、104、106、108)は、第1の伝熱プレート(30)および第2の伝熱プレート(32)を含み、且つ、前記作動流体回路(14/20、L1/L3、12/18、L2/L4)と直接的に熱交換するように構成され、前記熱交換システムは、前記冷媒を循環させるための唯一の冷媒ループ、および、前記作動流体を循環させるための1つの作動流体ループ、を備え、前記冷媒は、前記コンプレッサ(102)から冷媒供給ライン(104)を通って前記第1の伝熱プレート(30)および前記第2の伝熱プレート(32)をこの順番に流れ、そして、前記第1の伝熱プレート(30)および冷媒戻りライン(108)を通って前記コンプレッサ(102)へ戻るように循環し、
前記第1の伝熱プレート(30)および前記第2の伝熱プレート(32)は、左右の側壁(36)に沿って互いに隣接し、それぞれの垂直方向に細長いカセットフレームレセプタクル(R1、R2)は、それぞれの前記側壁(36)のすぐ内側に位置し、前記スロット(34)は、前記側壁(36)間を延びて、前記レセプタクル(R1、R2)で終端し、前記第1の伝熱プレート(30)および前記第2の伝熱プレート(32)の間の距離の方向における前記フレームレセプタクル(R1、R2)の幅は、同じ方向における前記スロット(34)の幅よりも広く、

前記冷媒と、前記第1の伝熱プレート(30)および前記第2の伝熱プレート(32)の間に前記第1の伝熱プレート(30)および前記第2の伝熱プレート(32)と接触して配置される流体カセット(50)を通る作動流体との間で熱交換するために、血管内熱交換カテーテル(12)と前記流体カセット(50)との間に前記作動流体を循環させるステップ、および、
前記第1の伝熱プレート(30)および前記第2の伝熱プレート(32)に沿う通路において、冷媒を、前記第1の伝熱プレート(30)から前記第2の伝熱プレート(32)へ流れさせてから前記第1の伝熱プレート(30)を通って戻るように流れさせるステップ、
を含み、
前記熱交換システムは、第1の伝熱プレート(30)および第2の伝熱プレート(32)を含み、前記冷媒は、前記作動流体と直接的に熱交換するように構成され、前記熱交換システムは、前記冷媒を循環させるための唯一の冷媒ループ、および、前記作動流体を循環させるための1つの作動流体ループ、を備え、前記冷媒は、前記コンプレッサ(102)から冷媒供給ライン(104)を通って前記第1の伝熱プレート(30)および前記第2の伝熱プレート(32)に流れ、そして、冷媒戻りライン(108)を通って前記コンプレッサ(102)へ戻るように循環し、
前記作動流体を循環させるステップは、前記流体カセット(50)のフレームの側部レールを、前記第1の伝熱プレート(30)および前記第2の伝熱プレート(32)の間に位置するレセプタクル(R1、R2)に摺動可能に係合させることにより、前記第1の伝熱プレート(30)および前記第2の伝熱プレート(32)の間に前記流体カセット(50)を配置し、前記流体カセット(50)の前記フレームに結合された膜アセンブリを膨張させて前記第1の伝熱プレート(30)および前記第2の伝熱プレート(32)に接触させた状態で、前記作動流体を、前記流体カセット(50)の前記膜アセンブリを通って循環させるステップを含む、

- 前記作動流体を循環させるステップは、前記流体カセット(50)の前記膜アセンブリを、前記流体カセット(50)の前記膜アセンブリの膨張に適応するように構成された面取りした面(90)を有する前記第1の伝熱プレート(30)および前記第2の伝熱プレート(32)に接触させた状態で、前記作動流体を、前記流体カセット(50)の前記膜アセンブリを通って循環させるステップを含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記左右の側壁(36)の少なくとも1つは、前記第2の伝熱プレートが前記第1の伝熱プレートから前記冷媒を受け入れるときに前記冷媒が通る通路を画定する、
