Description

A. 注意障害(すなわち、注意を向ける能力、集中、維持の低下、および注意のすり替え)および認識(環境に対する見当識の低下)。
B. 注意障害は、短期間(通常は数時間から数日)に発生し、ベースラインの注意力および認識からの変化を表し、1日の経過中に重症度が変動する傾向がある。
C. さらなる認知障害(例えば、記憶不足、見当識障害、言語、視空間的能力、または知覚力の障害)。
D. 基準AおよびCにおける障害は、既存の、確立されたまたは進化しつつある神経認知障害によってはうまく説明されず、昏睡などの著しく低下した覚醒のレベルの状況下では起こらない。
E. 前歴(病歴)、身体検査、または検査所見から、注意障害は、別の病状、物質中毒または禁断症状、または毒素への曝露の直接的な生理学的影響であるか、または複数の病因によるものであるという証拠がある。
Claims (5)
- せん妄患者の脳症の存在をスクリーニングするためのシステムであって、
a. ハウジングを含むハンドヘルドスクリーニングデバイスと、
b. 1つ以上の脳信号を記録し、ある期間にわたって3Hzの波の発生回数および10Hzの波の発生回数に対して1つ以上の値を生成するように構成された2つのセンサと、
c. プロセッサと、
d. 少なくとも1つのモジュールであって、
i. 前記1つ以上の値に対してスペクトル密度解析を実行するように、
ii. 前記3Hzの波の発生回数と前記10Hzの波の発生回数の比率の値と閾値比率の値1.44との比較に基づいて、脳症のその後の発症の有無または可能性の指標を示すデータを出力するように構成され、前記10Hzの波の発生回数に対する前記3Hzの波の発生回数の比率の前記値が前記閾値比率の値以上であることは、脳症の存在の兆候があり、前記10Hzの波の発生回数に対する前記3Hzの波の発生回数の比率の前記値が前記閾値比率の値未満であることは脳症の兆候がないことを示す、
システム。 - 前記1つ以上の脳信号は、脳波(EEG)信号である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記システムは、グラウンドリード線をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
