前記車両が前記シリーズ走行しているときに、前記車両の速度の増加に応じて、前記内燃機関の回転数を、第1回転数まで増加させ、該第1回転数に達すると該第1回転数より小さい第2回転数に低下させる回転数制御を実行可能であり、
所定の操作を受け付けた場合には、前記回転数制御の実行を制限し、
前記所定の操作は、ローンチコントロールを作動させる操作、又はアクセル開度が所定の閾値以上となるようにアクセルペダルを踏み込む操作である。
図1に示すように、駆動装置10は、本発明における内燃機関の一例であるエンジンENGと、本発明における発電機の一例であるジェネレータGENと、本発明における電動機の一例であるモータMOTと、変速機Tと、これらジェネレータGEN、モータMOT、及び変速機Tを収容するケース11と、を備える。モータMOT及びジェネレータGENは、車両1が備えるバッテリBATに接続されており、バッテリBATからの電力供給と、バッテリBATへのエネルギー回生が可能となっている。バッテリBATは、本発明における蓄電装置の一例である。
ケース11には、軸方向に沿ってエンジンENG側から、変速機Tを収容する変速機収容室11aと、モータMOT及びジェネレータGENを収容するモータ収容室11bとが設けられる。
つぎに、図2に示す走行モードテーブルTaを参照して、車両1がとり得る走行モードについて説明する。図2に示すように、車両1は、EV走行モードと、ハイブリッド走行モードと、低速側エンジン走行モードと、高速側エンジン走行モードと、をとり得る。
EV走行モードは、モータMOTに対してバッテリBATから電力を供給し、この電力に応じてモータMOTが出力した動力によって車両1を走行させる走行モードである。
ハイブリッド走行モードは、モータMOTに対して少なくともジェネレータGENから電力を供給し、この電力に応じてモータMOTが出力した動力によって車両1を走行させる走行モードである。ハイブリッド走行モードは、シリーズ走行の一例である。
低速側エンジン走行モードは、エンジンENGが出力した動力を、低速側の動力伝達経路によって駆動輪DWに伝達して車両1を走行させる走行モードである。
高速側エンジン走行モードは、エンジンENGが出力した動力を、高速側の動力伝達経路によって駆動輪DWに伝達して車両1を走行させる走行モードである。
つぎに、図3を参照して、ハイブリッド走行モードにおけるエンジン回転数について説明する。なお、図3において、縦軸はエンジン回転数[rpm]を示し、横軸は車速[km/h]を示している。
制御装置100は、車両1がハイブリッド走行モードによって走行しているときに疑似変速回転数制御を実行することにより、あたかも有段変速機による変速が行われているかのような車速に連動した自然なエンジンENGの運転音の変化をドライバーに体感させることができる。
つぎに、図4を参照して、制御装置100による具体的な制御例について説明する。図4に示す例は、主に、停止している車両1を発進させるとともに所定の速度(例えば100[km/h])となるまで可能な限り速やかに加速させるような状況を想定している。このような状況にあっては、車両1の加速性能を確保するため、車両1を走行させる走行モードとしては上記の速度域において最も大きな駆動力を得ることが可能なハイブリッド走行モードが用いられ、さらに前述したローンチコントロールが用いられる。
ところで、ハイブリッド走行モードにおいて、車両1の加速性能を向上させるためにはモータMOTの出力を増加させる必要がある。モータMOTの出力を増加させる方法として、モータMOTに供給される電力を増加させる方法が考えられる。モータMOTに供給される電力は、ジェネレータGENからモータMOTに供給される電力と、バッテリBATからモータMOTに供給される電力との和である。このため、ジェネレータGENからモータMOTに供給される電力が上限に達しているときに、バッテリBATが出力可能な最大電力でモータMOTに対して放電できれば、モータMOTに供給される電力を最大化できる。
前記車両が前記シリーズ走行しているときに、前記車両の速度の増加に応じて、前記内燃機関の回転数を、第1回転数(上限回転数NeH)まで増加させ、該第1回転数に達すると該第1回転数より小さい第2回転数(下限回転数NeL)に低下させる回転数制御(疑似変速回転数制御)を実行可能であり、
所定の操作を受け付けた場合には、前記回転数制御の実行を制限する、

前記所定の操作は、所定値以上の加速度で前記車両を加速させる操作である、

前記車両が前記シリーズ走行しているときに、前記車両の走行状態に基づいて、前記電動機を駆動するための必要電力を導出し、
導出した前記必要電力と、前記発電機から前記電動機に供給可能な電力と、に基づいて、前記蓄電装置から前記電動機への電力供給を制御し、
前記必要電力が、前記発電機から前記電動機に供給可能な電力以下の場合には、前記蓄電装置から前記電動機への電力供給を制限する、

前記必要電力が、前記発電機から前記電動機に供給可能な電力を上回った場合には、前記蓄電装置から前記電動機への電力供給を行う、

Claims (4)
- 内燃機関と、前記内燃機関から出力された動力によって発電可能な発電機と、駆動輪と連結されて前記発電機から電力が供給されることによって前記駆動輪を駆動可能な電動機と、を備え、前記発電機からの電力を前記電動機に供給し、前記電動機が前記駆動輪を駆動することによって走行するシリーズ走行が可能な車両を制御する車両制御装置であって、
前記車両が前記シリーズ走行しているときに、前記車両の速度の増加に応じて、前記内燃機関の回転数を、第1回転数まで増加させ、該第1回転数に達すると該第1回転数より小さい第2回転数に低下させる回転数制御を実行可能であり、
所定の操作を受け付けた場合には、前記回転数制御の実行を制限し、
前記所定の操作は、ローンチコントロールを作動させる操作、又はアクセル開度が所定の閾値以上となるようにアクセルペダルを踏み込む操作である、
車両制御装置。 - 請求項1に記載の車両制御装置であって、
前記車両は、前記電動機に電力を供給可能な蓄電装置をさらに備え、
前記車両制御装置は、
前記車両が前記シリーズ走行しているときに、前記車両の走行状態に基づいて、前記電動機を駆動するための必要電力を導出し、
導出した前記必要電力と、前記発電機から前記電動機に供給可能な電力と、に基づいて、前記蓄電装置から前記電動機への電力供給を制御し、
前記必要電力が、前記発電機から前記電動機に供給可能な電力以下の場合には、前記蓄電装置から前記電動機への電力供給を制限する、
車両制御装置。 - 請求項2に記載の車両制御装置であって、
前記必要電力が、前記発電機から前記電動機に供給可能な電力を上回った場合には、前記蓄電装置から前記電動機への電力供給を行う、

前記回転数制御の実行を制限しており、且つ、前記必要電力が、前記発電機から前記電動機に供給可能な電力以下の場合には、前記蓄電装置から前記電動機への電力供給を制限する、
