Description
内燃機関と、前記内燃機関によって駆動される発電機と、駆動輪と連結されて前記発電機から電力が供給されることによって前記駆動輪を駆動可能な電動機と、を備え、前記発電機によって発電された電力を前記電動機に供給し、前記電動機が前記駆動輪を駆動することによって走行するシリーズ走行が可能な車両を制御する車両制御装置であって、
前記内燃機関への燃料供給を停止する燃料カット制御を実行可能であり、
前記車両が前記シリーズ走行しているときに、前記車両の走行状態に基づき、前記内燃機関の回転数が所定の目標回転数となるように制御し、
前記車両が前記シリーズ走行しており、且つ減速要求があるときには、前記内燃機関の回転数と前記目標回転数との回転数差に応じて前記燃料カット制御を実行することによって前記内燃機関の回転数を低下させる。
図1に示すように、駆動装置10は、本発明における内燃機関の一例であるエンジンENGと、本発明における発電機の一例であるジェネレータGENと、本発明における電動機の一例であるモータMOTと、変速機Tと、これらジェネレータGEN、モータMOT、及び変速機Tを収容するケース11と、を備える。モータMOT及びジェネレータGENは、車両1が備えるバッテリBATに接続されており、バッテリBATからの電力供給と、バッテリBATへのエネルギー回生が可能となっている。
ケース11には、軸方向に沿ってエンジンENG側から、変速機Tを収容する変速機収容室11aと、モータMOT及びジェネレータGENを収容するモータ収容室11bとが設けられる。
つぎに、図2に示す走行モードテーブルTa1を参照して、車両1がとり得る走行モードについて説明する。図2に示すように、車両1は、EV走行モードと、ハイブリッド走行モードと、低速側エンジン走行モードと、高速側エンジン走行モードと、をとり得る。
EV走行モードは、モータMOTに対してバッテリBATから電力を供給し、この電力に応じてモータMOTが出力した動力によって車両1を走行させる走行モードである。
ハイブリッド走行モードは、モータMOTに対して少なくともジェネレータGENから電力を供給し、この電力に応じてモータMOTが出力した動力によって車両1を走行させる走行モードである。このハイブリッド走行モードは、ジェネレータGENによって発電された電力をモータMOTに供給し、モータMOTが駆動輪DWを駆動することによって車両1が走行するシリーズ走行の一例である。
低速側エンジン走行モードは、エンジンENGが出力した動力を、低速側の動力伝達経路によって駆動輪DWに伝達して車両1を走行させる走行モードである。
高速側エンジン走行モードは、エンジンENGが出力した動力を、高速側の動力伝達経路によって駆動輪DWに伝達して車両1を走行させる走行モードである。
つぎに、図3を参照して、ハイブリッド走行モードにおける加速時のエンジン回転数について説明する。なお、図3において、縦軸はエンジン回転数[rpm]を示し、横軸は車速[km/h]を示している。
車速に連動した自然なエンジンENGの運転音の変化をドライバーに体感させる観点から、ハイブリッド走行モードにおける減速時にはエンジン回転数も低下することが好ましい。
ここで、図4に示す燃料カット制御実行可否テーブルTa2を参照して、制御装置100が燃料カット制御を実行する場合と実行しない場合とについて具体的に説明する。
つぎに、図5を参照して、制御装置100がハイブリッド走行モードにおいて行う具体的なエンジン回転数の制御例について説明する。図5には、AP開度、車両1の駆動力、燃料カット制御禁止フラグ、燃料カット制御及びエンジン回転数の時期的関係を示した。

Claims (4)
- 内燃機関と、前記内燃機関によって駆動される発電機と、駆動輪と連結されて前記発電機から電力が供給されることによって前記駆動輪を駆動可能な電動機と、を備え、前記発電機によって発電された電力を前記電動機に供給し、前記電動機が前記駆動輪を駆動することによって走行するシリーズ走行が可能な車両を制御する車両制御装置であって、
前記内燃機関への燃料供給を停止する燃料カット制御を実行可能であり、
前記車両がシリーズ走行しているときに、前記車両の走行状態に基づき、前記内燃機関の回転数が所定の目標回転数となるように制御し、
前記車両がシリーズ走行しており、且つ減速要求があるときには、前記内燃機関の回転数と前記目標回転数との回転数差に応じて前記燃料カット制御を実行することによって前記内燃機関の回転数を低下させる、
車両制御装置。 - 請求項1に記載の車両制御装置であって、
前記車両がシリーズ走行しており、且つ前記減速要求があるときに、前記回転数差が閾値以上であれば前記燃料カット制御を実行することによって前記内燃機関の回転数を低下させる一方、
前記車両がシリーズ走行しており、且つ前記減速要求があるときに、前記回転数差が前記閾値未満であれば、前記発電機の駆動に必要となる前記内燃機関の負荷を大きくすることによって前記内燃機関の回転数を低下させる、
車両制御装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の車両制御装置であって、
前記車両がシリーズ走行しており、且つ加速しているときには、前記燃料カット制御を実行しない、
車両制御装置。 - 請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の車両制御装置であって、
前記車両がシリーズ走行しており、且つ加速しているときには、前記内燃機関の回転数を、第1目標回転数まで増加させ、該第1目標回転数に達すると該第1目標回転数よりも小さい第2目標回転数まで低下させる、
