Claims (8)
- 水を収容するタンクと、
前記タンクに収容されている水を霧化する霧化器と、
霧化された水が外部へ向かう経路と、
前記経路の一方の端部に形成され、前記霧化された水が噴霧される開口部と、
霧化された水に対して紫外線を照射する紫外線照射部と、を備え、
前記経路は、前記開口部まで鉛直方向に延びるよう形成され、
前記紫外線照射部は、前記経路の内部であって、前記開口部の近傍である前記開口部から前記経路の内部に向かって20mm以内の範囲に、前記経路の内壁から離れて配置され、前記霧化された水が前記開口部に向かう方向と反対の方向から紫外線を照射するように構成されていることを特徴とする加湿器。 - 前記経路は、前記紫外線が前記経路の他方の端部に向けて反射するように構成された反射部が内部に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の加湿器。
- 前記反射部は、表面がPTFEまたはAlで構成されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の加湿器。
- 前記紫外線照射部は、ピーク波長が250~300nmの範囲にある紫外線を照射するLEDを有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の加湿器。
- 前記LEDは、発光面が前記経路の他方の端部に向くように配置されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の加湿器。
- 前記LEDは、前記開口部から前記経路の中を見たときに前記発光面が見えないように配置されていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の加湿器。
- 前記経路は、長さが10~250mmの範囲であり、
前記LEDは、出力が30~200mWの範囲である、
ことを特徴とする請求項4乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の加湿器。 - 前記霧化器は、水をエアロゾルとして霧化する超音波振動子を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の加湿器。
