Description
本出願は、2018年4月16日に出願した米国特許出願第15/954,438号の分割出願であり、したがって2017年4月14日に出願した「Carbon Dioxide Underwater Delivery Device and Supplementation System」と題する米国仮特許出願第62/485,772号に対して、米国特許法第119条(e)及び米国特許法第21条に基づいて優先権を主張するものである。この特許出願の開示全体が参照により本出願の開示に組み込まれる。

1)2つのバッグを選択し、それらのバッグが既存の底部シールを有するのであれば、各バッグからシールを鋏で切り取ることなどにより底部シールを除去する。
2)外側バッグ102の長辺(long line)が内側バッグ101の長辺よりも長くなるように、各バッグの寸法を測定し、切って調整する。
3)フィルタ81及び82が反対方向を向くように、また、各バッグのひだが互いに円滑に位置することと底端部が互いに同一平面になることとを確実にするように注意して、内側の(より短い)バッグ101を他方の(より長い)バッグ102内に挿入する。
4)シールされたときに2つのバッグが単一の接合シールによって互いに接続されるように、2つのバッグの底部を熱シール103する。
5)内側バッグ101を部分的に基質で満たすが、このステップ及び以下のステップ6~9は、米国特許第9,750,196B2号で説明されているものなどの技法に従って作成される。
6)組み合わせられたバッグユニットを121.11℃(華氏250度)で少なくとも1時間にわたって蒸気滅菌し、そしてユニットを冷却させる。
7)内側に重ねられたバッグ内の基質に、滅菌した純粋培養の菌糸体又は類似の有機体を接種する。
8)フィルタ81よりも上方で、内側に重ねられたバッグ101の頂部を熱シール104する。
9)フィルタ82よりも上方で、また、内部バッグ101上の頂部シール104よりも上方で、外側バッグ102の頂部を熱シール105する。
10)72時間にわたって菌糸体を移植から回復させる。
11)固定デバイス2(クリップ、ハンガ、分離シーム、又は他の固定機構)(図6~図7及び図12~図17に示される)を取り付ける。
12)水生植物にCO2を提供するために、又は、昆虫、具体的には蚊を誘引することなどの他の目的のために、デバイス18を水中環境内に設置する(図1~図3に示される)。
Claims (7)
- 水中二酸化炭素放出デバイスであって、
密封容器と、
前記密封容器内に配置された有機体と、
前記密封容器内の前記有機体と混合された、前記有機体に給餌するための食糧基質と、
前記密封容器上に配置された通気パッチであって、二酸化炭素分子が前記密封容器を離れること、及び酸素分子が前記密封容器に入ることを可能にするのに十分な濾過性能を有し、且つ全水分子が前記密封容器に入るのを防ぐのに十分な濾過性能を有している、通気パッチと、
取付機構と
を有し、
前記取付機構が前記デバイスを水中環境内で固定し、それにより前記水中環境に二酸化炭素を補充する、水中二酸化炭素放出デバイス。 - クリップをさらに有する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
