Claims (15)
- 電池モジュールであって、
水平方向に配列された複数の電池ユニットであって、垂直方向に積層された複数の電池を含み、前記複数の電池は前記垂直方向に積層された第1電池と第2電池を含み、前記第1電池及び前記第2電池はいずれも、第1電極端子、第2電極端子、及び前記第1電極端子と前記第2電極端子との間に位置する防爆板を含む電池ユニットと、
前記複数の電池ユニットを電気的に接続するバスアセンブリであって、前記第1電池の第1電極端子と前記第2電池の第2電極端子とを接続する第1バスバーを含むバスアセンブリとを含み、
前記垂直方向及び前記水平方向に垂直な第1方向において、前記第1バスバーは前記第1電池の防爆板と少なくとも部分的に重なる第1薄化領域を含み、前記第1薄化領域は、前記第1電池の防爆板が開かれたときに、前記第1薄化領域が破断し、前記第1電池と前記第2電池とを遮断するように構成される、ことを特徴とする電池モジュール。 - 前記第1バスバーは第1貫通孔をさらに有し、前記第1薄化領域は第1部分と第2部分を含み、前記第1部分及び前記第2部分はそれぞれ前記第1貫通孔の両側に位置し、
前記第1方向において、前記第1部分は少なくとも前記防爆板と部分的に重なり、前記第2部分は少なくとも前記防爆板と部分的に重なる、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記第1電池の防爆板は露出領域を有し、前記露出領域は前記第1方向において前記第1バスバーで覆われていない、ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記露出領域は前記第1貫通孔に対向する第1露出部を含む、ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記露出領域は第2露出部をさらに含み、前記第2露出部は前記第1露出部と間隔を空けて設けられる、ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記第1バスバーは、
前記第1電池の第1電極端子に接続された第1接続部と、
移行部であって、前記第1薄化領域が前記第1接続部と前記移行部を接続し、前記移行部が緩衝領域を有する、移行部とをさらに含み、
前記緩衝領域は、前記第1電池の第1電極端子と前記第2電池の第2電極端子の前記水平方向における距離が変化したときに伸縮変形し、及び/又は、前記第1電池の第1電極端子と前記第2電池の第2電極端子の前記垂直方向における距離が変化したときに伸縮変形するように構成される、ことを特徴とする請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記第1バスバーは、
前記第2電池の第2電極端子に接続される第2接続部と、
前記第1方向において、前記第2電池の防爆板と少なくとも部分的に重なり、かつ前記移行部と前記第2接続部を接続する第2薄化領域とをさらに含み、
前記第2薄化領域は、前記第2電池の防爆板が開かれたときに破断し、前記第1電池と前記第2電池とを遮断するように構成される、ことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記緩衝領域は前記垂直方向及び前記水平方向に対して傾斜して設けられる、ことを特徴とする請求項6又は7に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記垂直方向において、前記緩衝領域は前記第1電池の防爆板と前記第2電池の防爆板との間に位置する、ことを特徴とする請求項6~8のいずれか1項に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記緩衝領域は複数のドーム構造を含む、ことを特徴とする請求項6~9のいずれか1項に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記第1電池の前記第1電極端子及び前記第2電極端子は前記水平方向に配置されており、
前記第2電池の前記第1電極端子及び前記第2電極端子は前記水平方向に配置されており、
前記第1電池の第1電極端子及び前記第2電池の第1電極端子は前記垂直方向において対向して設けられ、前記第1電池の第2電極端子及び前記第2電池の第2電極端子は前記垂直方向において対向して設けられる、ことを特徴とする請求項1~10のいずれか1項に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記電池モジュールの前記水平方向の寸法は前記電池モジュールの前記垂直方向の寸法よりも大きい、ことを特徴とする請求項1~11のいずれか1項に記載の電池モジュール。
- 各前記電池は、ケースと電極アセンブリをさらに含み、前記第1電極端子、前記第2電極端子、及び前記防爆板は前記ケースに設けられ、前記電極アセンブリは前記ケース内に収納され、かつ前記電極アセンブリは第1極板、第2極板、及び前記第1極板と前記第2極板を隔てるセパレータを含み、前記第1極板は前記第1電極端子に電気的に接続され、前記第2極板は前記第2電極端子に電気的に接続され、
前記電極アセンブリは、扁平状の捲回型構造であり、かつ前記電極アセンブリの外面は2つの扁平面を含み、前記2つの扁平面は前記垂直方向において互いに面しており、又は、前記電極アセンブリは積層型構造であり、前記第1極板、前記セパレータ、及び前記第2極板が前記垂直方向に積層される、ことを特徴とする請求項1~12のいずれか1項に記載の電池モジュール。 - 筐体と、
前記筐体内に収容された請求項1~13のいずれか1項に記載の電池モジュールとを含む、ことを特徴とする電池パック。 - 電源として電池を用いた装置であって、
請求項1~13のいずれか1項に記載の電池モジュールを含む、ことを特徴とする装置。
