Claims (5)
- インクの滴を射出するように構成される射出ユニットを含み、ノズル面に形成されるノズルと、該ノズルに接続される液体ダクトと、該液体ダクト内の液体内に音響圧力波を作り出すように構成される電気機械変換器とを含む、滴射出デバイスを作動させる方法であって、
許容できない量の凝縮水が前記ノズルの位置で前記ノズル面にあるインクのプール内に存在する場合を検出するステップと、前記許容できない量の凝縮水が前記ノズルの位置で前記ノズル面にある前記インクのプール内に存在する場合を、前記許容できない量の凝縮水が前記ノズルの位置で前記ノズル面にある前記インクのプール内に存在しない場合から区別するステップとを含み、前記検出するステップは、滴の射出後に前記液体ダクト内で減衰する音響圧力変動の減衰時間定数及び振幅を分析するステップを含み、該音響圧力変動は、前記電気機械変換器の応答を引き起こし、前記電気機械変換器から得られる信号によって表され、前記許容できない量の凝縮水が前記インクのプール内に存在する場合にエラー信号が発せられることを特徴とする、
方法。 - 前記検出するステップは、滴の射出後に前記液体ダクト内で減衰する圧力変動の周波数を分析するステップを含み、該圧力変動は、前記電気機械変換器の応答を引き起こす、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 液体の滴を射出するように構成される多数の射出ユニットを含む、
滴射出デバイスであって、
各射出ユニットは、ノズル面に形成されるノズルと、該ノズルに接続される液体ダクトと、該液体ダクト内の液体内に音響圧力波を作り出すように構成される電気機械変換器とを含み、
前記多数の射出ユニットのうちの少なくとも1つは、請求項1に記載の方法を遂行するように構成されるプロセッサと関連付けられる、
滴射出デバイス。 - 水性インクでインクジェット印刷するように構成される、請求項3に記載の滴射出デバイス。
- インクジェットプリントヘッドとしての請求項3に記載の前記滴射出デバイスと、前記インクジェットプリントヘッドを越えて媒体シートを搬送するシート搬送経路と、シートを前記シート搬送経路に送るように構成される送り機構と、前記ノズル面上の凝縮水の存在が前記インクジェットプリントヘッドの少なくとも所定の数の射出ユニットによって検出されるときに、前記シートが前記インクジェットプリントヘッドに送られる速度を減少させるように構成される、制御ユニットとを含む、印刷システム。
