Description
Claims (21)
- 第1の融点を有する第1のポリマー材料を含む原材料の溶融ストリームを押出機内に確立するステップと、
前記溶融ストリーム中に複合材料を添加するステップと、
前記原材料と前記複合材料から成形コンパウンドを形成するステップと、
前記成形コンパウンドを前記押出機から分配するステップと、
前記成形コンパウンドを使用して部品を製造するステップと、
を含む、方法であって、
前記複合材料は、強化フィラメントと、マトリックス樹脂であって前記第1の融点よりも高い第2の融点を有する第2のポリマー材料とを含む予め含浸された強化繊維を含み、前記複合材料は、前記強化フィラメントの少なくとも30%が前記第2のポリマー材料によって保護され、前記第2のポリマー材料が前記少なくとも30%のフィラメントにおいて各フィラメントの側面を覆って各フィラメントと隣接するフィラメントとの間にバリアを形成し、添加時の前記溶融ストリームの温度は、マトリックス材料である前記第2のポリマー材料の融点より低い、方法。 - 前記複合材料は、前記添加するステップと前記形成するステップとの間の期間は非溶融状態に留まる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記成形コンパウンドの温度は前記部品を製造するステップの前に前記第2の融点より高く上げられる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 押出機内でポリマー材料を含む原材料の溶融ストリームを確立するステップと、
前記溶融ストリーム中に複合材料を添加するステップであって、前記複合材料は前記ポリマー材料によって予め含浸された炭素強化フィラメントから成る炭素強化繊維を含み、前記複合材料は、強化フィラメントの少なくとも30%が前記ポリマー材料によって保護され、前記ポリマー材料が各フィラメントの側面を覆って、前記少なくとも30%のフィラメントにおいて各フィラメントと隣接するフィラメントの間にバリアを形成するようになった、複合材料を添加するステップと、
前記原材料と前記複合材料から成形コンパウンドを形成するステップと、
前記成形コンパウンドを前記押出機から分配するステップと、
前記成形コンパウンドを使用して部品を製造するステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記添加するステップは、固体形状の前記複合材料を前記溶融ストリーム中に添加して前記溶融ストリームが少なくとも部分的に前記複合材料を溶融することを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記原材料を前記押出機の上流供給ゾーン内に導入するステップを更に含み、
前記確立するステップは、前記上流供給ゾーンと下流供給ゾーンの間に前記原材料の前記溶融ストリームを確立することを含み、
前記添加するステップは、前記押出機の前記下流供給ゾーンにおける前記溶融ストリーム中に前記複合材料を添加することを含み、
前記形成するステップは、前記原材料と複合材料をブレンドして前記成形コンパウンドを形成することを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。 - 第1のポリマー材料を含む原材料の溶融ストリームを押出機内に確立するステップであって、前記原材料が、第1の分子量と第1の粘度を有する第1の樹脂を含む、確立するステップと、
前記溶融ストリーム中に複合材料を添加するステップであって、前記複合材料は強化フィラメントと第2のポリマー材料からなる、予め含浸された強化フィラメントを含み、前記複合材料は、前記強化フィラメントの少なくとも30%が前記第2のポリマー材料によって保護されて、前記第2のポリマー材料が前記少なくとも30%のフィラメントにおいて各フィラメントの側面を覆って、各フィラメントと隣接するフィラメントの間にバリアを形成するようにし、前記複合材料は、第2の分子量と第2の粘度を有する第2の樹脂を含み、前記第1の分子量は前記第2の分子量より大きいか、又は前記第1の粘度が前記第2の粘度より大きい、添加するステップと、
前記原材料と前記複合材料から成形コンパウンドを形成するステップと、
前記成形コンパウンドを前記押出機から分配するステップであって、前記第1と前記第2のポリマー材料は互いに異なっており、前記第2のポリマー材料にはない機能を前記成形コンパウンドに導入するようになった、成形コンパウンドを分配するステップと、
前記成形コンパウンドを使用して部品を製造するステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記第1と前記第2の樹脂は同一樹脂ファミリである、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記原材料は、第1の樹脂と、強化繊維を乾燥させるための添加剤、充填材及び/又はナノ粒子研磨剤とを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記原材料は、第1の粘度を有する第1の樹脂と、前記第1の粘度に影響を与える添加剤、充填材及び/又はナノ粒子とを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記原材料は、第1の樹脂と、前記第1のポリマー材料の粘度が前記第2のポリマー材料の粘度より高くなるような、添加剤、充填材及び/又はナノ粒子とを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記原材料は第1の樹脂を含み、前記複合材料は第2の樹脂を含み、前記第1と前記第2の樹脂は樹脂ファミリが異なる、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記添加するステップは、前記複合材料を前記原材料の溶融ストリームで潤滑することを含む、請求項1、請求項4又は請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記添加するステップは、固体形状の前記複合材料を前記溶融ストリーム中に添加して前記溶融ストリームが少なくとも部分的に前記複合材料を溶融することを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記複合材料は1つ以上の連続ストランド、ペレット、及び/又はフレークの形状である、請求項1、請求項4又は請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記添加するステップは、前記押出機の押出方向に沿って配置された供給器を用いて実行される、請求項4又は請求項15に記載の方法。
- 強化繊維は、炭素繊維、ガラス繊維、合成繊維、天然繊維、又はそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1又は請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記添加するステップの前に前記複合材料を加熱するステップを更に含む、請求項4又は請求項7に記載の方法。
- 第1のポリマー材料と第2のポリマー材料のそれぞれは、熱可塑性ポリマー材料、及び/又は熱硬化性ポリマー材料を含む、請求項1又は請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記複合材料は前記第2のポリマー材料によって保護された少なくとも50%のフィラメントを有し、前記第2のポリマー材料は各フィラメントの側面を覆って、前記少なくとも50%のフィラメントにおいて、フィラメントと隣接するフィラメント間にバリアを形成する、請求項1又は請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記確立するステップは、第1の押出機において前記溶融ストリームを確立することを含み、前記添加するステップは第2の押出機において前記溶融ストリームを前記複合材料と組み合わせることを含む、請求項1、請求項4又は請求項7に記載の方法。
