前記車両(2)が、前方の車両(7、8)を検出する第1のセンサシステム(3)を備え、前方の車両(7、8)が検出された場合に前記車両(2)の車両速度(V0)が低減される方法において、
前記第1のセンサシステム(3)が前方の交通渋滞を検出し、信号を出力し、
前記車両(2)が備える制御装置(10)が、前記車両(2)が備える駆動および減速装置(16、17)を制御することによって、交通渋滞末尾(7)の後方から第1の所定の間隔(d1)に達するまで前記車両(2)を制動する、方法であって、
前記車両(2)が、後続の車両(9)を検出する第2のセンサシステム(5)を備え、前記第1のセンサシステム(3)によって前方の交通渋滞(7,8)が検出された場合に前記制御装置(10)が前記駆動および減速装置(16、17)を制御することによって、前記交通渋滞末尾(7)との前記第1の所定の間隔(d1)をおいて前記車両(2)を制動した後に、前記第2のセンサシステム(5)によって前記後続の車両(9)が検出された場合にようやく前記車両(2)が前記交通渋滞末尾(7)の速度に対して少ない速度差により前記交通渋滞末尾(7)との残りの前記第1の所定の間隔を詰め、
前記車両(2)が前記交通渋滞末尾(7)との前記第1の所定の間隔(d1)をおいて制動された後に、前記車両(2)と前記後続の車両(9)との間の距離が第2の所定の間隔(d2)未満となったことが前記第2のセンサシステム(5)によって検出された場合にようやく前記制御装置(10)が前記駆動および減速装置(16、17)を制御することによって、前記車両(2)が前記交通渋滞末尾(7)との残りの前記第1の所定の間隔(d1)を詰め、

前記第1のセンサシステム(3)および/または前記第2のセンサシステム(5)が、それぞれ、レーダ技術、ビデオ技術、ライダー技術および/または超音波技術に基づく環境センサ(3、5)であり、かつ/または車間(C2C)通信を介したデータ伝送のためのインターフェースからなっており、かつ/または車両とクラウドサービスとの間のデータ伝送のためのインターフェースからなっている装置。
