Description
本発明の第一の態様であるグリース組成物に用いられる(A)成分は、40℃における動粘度が2~110mm2/秒である、一般式(1)で表わされるパーフルオロポリエーテルである。
RfO(CF2CF2O)m(CF2O)nRf (1)
本発明のグリース組成物に用いられる(B)成分は、40℃における動粘度が2~100mm2/秒である、下記一般式(2)で表わされるパーフルオロポリエーテルである。
RfO(CF(CF3)CF2O)p(CF2O)rRf (2)
本発明のグリース組成物に用いられる(C)成分は、一次粒子径が1μm以下であるフッ素樹脂粉末である。フッ素樹脂粉末としては、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)、テトラフルオロエチレン-ヘキサフルオロプロペン共重合体(FEP)、テトラフルオロエチレン-パーフルオロアルキルビニルエーテル共重合体(PFA)、テトラフルオロエチレン-エチレン共重合体(ETFE)、ポリビニリデンフルオライド(PVDF)、ポリクロロトリフルオロエチレン(PCTFE)、パーフルオロアルキレン樹脂などが用いられる。これらのうちでも、PTFEが好ましい。フッ素樹脂粉末は、それぞれの単量体を乳化重合、懸濁重合、溶液重合などの方法によって重合して得られるが、本発明では、乳化重合によって得られたフッ素樹脂粉末が好ましい。乳化重合で得られたフッ素樹脂粉末は比表面積が大きく吸油量も大きくなるため、グリース組成物中で分離しにくく、安定なグリース組成物が得られるためである。フッ素樹脂粉末の平均分子量は、好ましくは1,000~1,000,000である。フッ素樹脂粉末の平均分子量は、示差走査熱量分析あるいは、粘弾性やメルトフローレート測定で得られた値から計算することができる。
尚、本発明における粘度平均分子量は、JIS K7367に従って測定することができ、ポリオレフィン粒子を溶媒に溶かした溶液の極限粘度を測定し、次に示す式により粘度平均分子量を求めることができる。
(Kおよびαは定数である)。
各成分を表1に示す割合(重量部)で均一に混合し、三本ロールミルで混練し、脱泡を行いグリース組成物を得た。実施例1~4及び比較例1~5にて用いられた各成分は、以下の通りである。
A2:フォンブリンM30(ソルベイスペシャルティポリマーズジャパン株式会社製):40℃の動粘度 159mm2/秒
B1:フォンブリンY25(ソルベイスペシャルティポリマーズジャパン株式会社製):40℃の動粘度 80mm2/秒
B2:フォンブリンY15(ソルベイスペシャルティポリマーズジャパン株式会社製):40℃の動粘度 56mm2/秒
B3:フォンブリンY45(ソルベイスペシャルティポリマーズジャパン株式会社製):40℃の動粘度 147mm2/秒
C1:ゾニール(Zonyl) TLP-10F-1(三井・デュポンフロロケミカル株式会社製):一次粒子径0.1~0.3μm
C2:ルブロン(Lubron) L-2(ダイキン工業株式会社製):一次粒子径0.2~0.4μm
D:粘度平均分子量約200万、SEM観察法による平均粒子径22μmのポリエチレンパウダー(SEMは日本電子(株)製 JSM-6010LAを用い、200倍で観察した)
―40℃のトルク:直径25mmのパラレルプレートを用いて、アントンパール社製回転式レオメータMCR302を用いて測定した。ギャップを0.2mm、温度を-40℃に設定し、85rpmで6秒間回転させたときのトルクの平均値である。
蒸発量:蒸発量は、SAE AS8660に規定された方法で、100℃で24時間試験した結果である。
油膜厚さ:特開2009-007562号公報に記載されているようなEHL試験機を用い、光干渉法により測定した結果である。試験条件は下記のとおりである。
鋼球:材質SUJ-2、直径25.4mm
ディスク:硬質ガラスの表面にクロムコーティングしたもの
速度:0.001から1.0m/sで測定し0.1m/sの油膜厚さを測定(100%転がり)、試料温度:25℃、荷重:4N(ヘルツ圧:160MPa)
作動音:前述の-40℃でのトルクの測定した際に、異音の発生状況を確認した。なお判定基準は次の通りである。◎:10秒間以上異音の発生なし ○:6秒間異音の発生なし、△:6秒間の一部で異音の発生あり、×:6秒間の大部分で異音の発生あり。
Claims (9)
- (A)40℃における動粘度が2~110mm2/秒である、下記一般式(1)
RfO(CF2CF2O)m(CF2O)nRf (1)
(式中、Rfは炭素数1~4のパーフルオロ低級アルキル基であり、m、nはそれぞれ0以上の整数であり、mとnの和は30~190であり、CF2CF2O基およびCF2O基は主鎖中にランダムに結合されている)で表わされるパーフルオロポリエーテル、
(B)40℃における動粘度が2~100mm2/秒である、下記一般式(2)
RfO(CF(CF3)CF2O)p(CF2O)rRf (2)
(式中、Rfは炭素数1~4のパーフルオロ低級アルキル基であり、pは正の数であり、rは0より大きい数であり、pとrの和は5~50であり、CF(CF3)CF2O基およびCF2O基は主鎖中にランダムに結合されている)で表わされるパーフルオロポリエーテル、および
(C)一次粒子径が1μm以下であるフッ素樹脂粉末
を含有するグリース組成物であって、フッ素樹脂粉末の含有量がグリース組成物重量を基準として25~40重量%であり、パーフルオロポリエーテル(A)とパーフルオロポリエーテル(B)の重量比が15:85~70:30である、グリース組成物。 - さらに、(D)粘度平均分子量50万~700万のポリオレフィン粒子であって、粒子径が10~200μmの範囲にあるものを、グリース組成物重量を基準として1.5~10重量%の範囲で含有する、請求項1のグリース組成物。
- 一般式(1)中のm/nが1以上であり、一般式(2)中のp/rが10以上である、請求項1に記載のグリース組成物。
- フッ素樹脂粉末が乳化重合によって得られたものである、請求項1に記載のグリース組成物。
- 摺動面に請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載のグリース組成物を塗布した摺動部材であって、グリース組成物の油膜厚さが0.2μm以上である、摺動部材。
- -40℃~200℃の温度範囲で作動する、請求項5に記載の摺動部材。
- 自動車または産業機械の部品として用いられる、請求項5に記載の摺動部材。
- 摺動部材が、回転摺動部材である、請求項5記載の摺動部材。
- 金属部材、樹脂部材またはこれらの組み合わせからなる回転摺動部材であって、その摺動面に0.25~0.50μmの油膜厚さの請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載のグリース組成物からなる潤滑皮膜を供えた、回転摺動部材。
