Description
[1]
焼成貝殻を含む塗布液であって、
焼成貝殻と、水と、水より高い沸点を有し水酸基および/またはポリエーテル基を有する液状有機化合物と、非有機変性フィロケイ酸塩粉末とを含むことを特徴とする、塗布液。
[2]
前記非有機変性フィロケイ酸塩粉末のフィロケイ酸塩は、スメクタイトまたはバーミキュライトである、[1]に記載の塗布液。
[3]
前記液状有機化合物は、水酸基と、炭化水素基と、任意でエーテル基および/またはエステル基とからなり、炭素数が2~8である、[1]または[2]に記載の塗布液。

20℃における粘度が10~500mPa・sである、[1]~[3]のいずれかに記載の塗布液。

前記焼成貝殻の含有量は0.1~10重量%である、[1]~[4]のいずれかに記載の塗布液。

前記非有機変性フィロケイ酸塩粉末の含有量は0.05~3重量%である、[1]~[5]のいずれかに記載の塗布液。

前記焼成貝殻、前記液状有機化合物、および前記非有機変性フィロケイ酸塩粉末を含むコーティング層を有する、[8]に記載の塗布物。
水より高い沸点を有し水酸基を有する液状有機化合物としてグリセリンを60%、フィロケイ酸塩粉末として化学式Na0.7[(Si8Mg5.5Li0.3)O20(OH)4]で表される合成スメクタイト(ヘクトライト)粉末を0.3%、焼成貝殻を5%、および残部の水(イオン交換水)を含む塗布液の実施例を調製した。並行して、フィロケイ酸塩粉末を省略した比較例を調製した。フィロケイ酸塩粉末は一次粒子の直径が約25nmであり、有機変性されたものではなく、他成分と混合する際にはフィロケイ酸塩100重量部に対して10重量部未満のピロリン酸ナトリウムが添加されたプレミックス形態のものを使用した。焼成貝殻は、ホタテ貝殻由来であり、株式会社セイシン企業製のレーザー式粒度分布測定器LMS-2000eを用いてレーザー回析・散乱法により測定した平均粒径(D50)が14.4μm、粒度分布(D10~D90)が5.0~34.7μmのものであった。
実施例1で示したように沈降防止剤としてフィロケイ酸塩粉末が有効であることを見出すまでの試行錯誤の過程において、他の様々な物質が検討された。しかしながら、他の技術的文脈で分散剤あるいは増粘剤として機能し得る多くの物質は、焼成貝殻と水を含むアルカリ性条件下で分散能を発揮することができない等の理由で採用できなかった。
ここでは、塗布液を物品に塗布してなる塗布物の抗菌性試験の例を記述する。グリセリンの量を65%とし焼成貝殻の量を2%としたほかは上記実施例1と同じである塗布液の別の実施例を調製した。市販のキッチンペーパーに水をスプレーし、水分量50%の湿紙状態とした。その上から上記塗布液(調製後少なくとも3日間経過したもの)を10cc/m2の量でスプレーして塗布を行った。その後、これらのキッチンペーパーを100℃で5分間乾燥させた。
実質的に実施例3のものと同じである塗布液を調製した。塗布液の粒度はグラインドメーターによって15~35μmと測定された。B型粘度計により測定された20℃における粘度(ローターNo.1、30rpm)の平均値は147.8mPa・sであり、40℃における粘度(ローターNo.1、60rpm)の平均値は60.6mPa・sであった。180℃で1時間乾燥させて測量した固形分は塗布液の5.3%であった。pH試験紙で塗布液のpHを測定したところ、pH12以上であった。
Claims (7)
- 焼成貝殻を含む塗布液であって、
焼成貝殻と、水と、水より高い沸点を有し水酸基を有する液状有機化合物と、非有機変性フィロケイ酸塩粉末とを含み、前記液状有機化合物はグリセリンであり前記非有機変性フィロケイ酸塩粉末のフィロケイ酸塩はスメクタイトであることを特徴とする、塗布液。 - 20℃における粘度が10~500mPa・sである、請求項1に記載の塗布液。
- 前記焼成貝殻の含有量は0.1~10重量%である、請求項1または2に記載の塗布液。
- 前記非有機変性フィロケイ酸塩粉末の含有量は0.05~3重量%である、請求項1~3のいずれかに記載の塗布液。
- 前記液状有機化合物の重量は前記水の重量以上である、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の塗布液。
- 請求項1~5いずれかに記載の塗布液を物品に塗布してなる、塗布物。
- 前記焼成貝殻、前記液状有機化合物、および前記非有機変性フィロケイ酸塩粉末を含むコーティング層を有する、請求項6に記載の塗布物。
