Description
本発明は、マイクロ波エネルギーを用いて生体組織を処置するための電気外科装置に関する。特に、生体組織を切除するのに十分な電力を発生させることができる電気外科装置に関する。本発明は、外科スコープ装置(たとえば、内視鏡、胃鏡、気管支鏡など)を用いる手技において特定の用途を見出し得るが、原理は、腹腔鏡及び開腹処置で用いる装置に等しく適用される。
図1は、本発明を用いてもよい電気外科システム100の概略図である。
他の例では、伝送線はマイクロストリップ構造及び同軸ベース構造の両方を含んでいてもよい。
Claims (13)
- 生体組織を切除するための電気外科器具であって、
処置すべき前記生体組織に接触するための組織処置部と、
フレキシブルシャフトを介して前記組織処置部に接続された柄部であって、前記組織処置部は、外科スコープ装置の器具チャネルを通して挿入するのに適した遠位端アセンブリである、前記柄部とを含み、
前記組織処置部は、
生体組織を切除するのに適したマイクロ波エネルギーを発生させるように配置された電力増幅器を含むマイクロ波電源と、
前記マイクロ波電源に接続された放射構造体であって、前記生体組織内に前記マイクロ波エネルギーを送出するように構成された前記放射構造体とを含み、
前記電力増幅器は前記放射構造体に可変伝送線によって接続され、
前記可変伝送線は、前記電力増幅器と前記放射構造体との間におけるインピーダンス整合を与えるように調整可能である、前記電気外科器具。 - 前記電力増幅器はワイドバンドギャップ半導体トランジスタを含む、請求項1に記載の電気外科器具。
- 前記電力増幅器はGaN系HEMTを含む、請求項1または2に記載の電気外科器具。
- 前記電力増幅器はクラスFデザインを有する、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の電気外科器具。
- 前記マイクロ波電源は前記電力増幅器を駆動するための発電機回路を含む、請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の電気外科器具。
- 前記発電機回路は、
DC入力信号を受け取ってマイクロ波周波数信号を発生させるように配置された発振器と、
前記マイクロ波周波数信号を受け取って前記電力増幅器に対する入力信号を発生させるように配置されたドライバ増幅器とを含む、請求項5に記載の電気外科器具。 - 前記組織処置部は、前記マイクロ波電源にDC入力信号を与えるための電源をさらに含む、請求項1から請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の電気外科器具。
- 前記電源はDC電力を発生させるための電池である、請求項7に記載の電気外科器具。
- 前記電源は、外部電源からの電力と誘導または磁気カップリングするためのカップリングユニットを含む、請求項7に記載の電気外科器具。
- 前記可変伝送線は、前記電力増幅器と前記放射構造体との間において調整可能な電気長を有する、請求項1に記載の電気外科器具。
- 前記可変伝送線は軸方向に伸縮可能な同軸構造を含む、請求項10に記載の電気外科器具。
- 前記電力増幅器は、前記可変伝送線の前記電気長を調整するために、前記可変伝送線に沿って前記放射構造体に対して移動可能である、請求項10に記載の電気外科器具。
- 前記組織処置部はスリーブによって囲まれている、請求項1から請求項12のいずれか1項に記載の電気外科器具。
