Description
以下、本発明に係る電池システムを具体化した第1実施形態について、図面を参照しつつ説明する。本実施形態の電池システム100は、車両に搭載されている。
具体的には、時刻t2に、電池モジュールM3が制御装置10との無線通信を開始し、その後の時刻t3に、電池モジュールM5が制御装置10との無線通信を開始し、その後の時刻t4に、電池モジュールM2が制御装置10との無線通信を開始する。また、その後の時刻t5に、電池モジュールM1が制御装置10との無線通信を開始し、その後の時刻t6に、電池モジュールM4が制御装置10との無線通信を開始する。各電池モジュールM1~M5が制御装置10と無線通信する順序はランダムであるため、制御装置10は無線通信の順序で各電池モジュールM1~M5に識別情報IDを割り付けることができない。そのため、比較例では、各電池モジュールM1~M5の電池監視部30に予め識別情報IDが設定されており、その識別情報IDを制御装置10に送信する。そのため、各電池モジュールM1~M5に含まれる電池監視部30を共通化することができない問題が生じる。なお、比較例における識別期間TAは、時刻t1から、時刻t6から第2通信期間TN2が経過した時刻t7までの期間である。
しかし、データ送信に必要な期間は、無線通信が確立するまでに必要な期間を含む第2通信期間TN2よりも十分に短い。また、電池監視部30が有線通信に必要な有線通信期間TLは、第2通信期間TN2よりも十分に短い。そのため、(式3)に示すように、有線通信期間TLと第3通信期間TN3との加算期間は、第2通信期間TN2の2倍よりも短くなる。
その結果、本実施形態の識別期間TBを、比較例の識別期間TAに比べて短縮することができる。なお、本実施形態の識別期間TBは、時刻t11から、時刻t13から第3通信期間TN3が経過した時刻t14までの期間である。
以下、第2実施形態について、第1実施形態との相違点を中心に図6~8を参照しつつ説明する。図6に示すように、本実施形態では、電池モジュールM1~M5が、2個の電池グループGR1,GR2を有する点で第1実施形態と異なる。
以下、第3実施形態について、第1実施形態との相違点を中心に図9~11を参照しつつ説明する。図8に示すように、本実施形態では、電池グループGRが電池モジュールM2~M5により構成され、電池モジュールM1~M5に、電池グループGRに含まれない電池モジュールM1を含む点で異なる。本実施形態において、電池モジュールM1を独立モジュールM1という。独立モジュールM1は、電池モジュールM1~M5のうち、最も高圧側の電池モジュールM1に設定されている。
なお、上記各実施形態は、以下のように変更して実施してもよい。
Claims (9)
- 電池部(20)及び電池監視部(30)を有する複数の電池モジュール(M1~M5)と制御装置(10)とを備える電池システムであって、
前記複数の電池モジュールは、前記電池監視部が通信線(38)により接続され、その通信線を介して有線通信可能な2以上の前記電池モジュールを含む電池グループ(GR,GR1,GR2)を有し、
前記電池グループは、
前記制御装置から送信される指令信号を無線受信可能な無線受信部(40,40A)と、
前記電池モジュール毎に異なるモジュール識別情報(ID)を含むデータ信号を前記制御装置へ無線送信可能な無線送信部(40,40A)と、を備え、
前記電池グループでは、前記2以上の前記電池モジュールのうち、1の前記電池モジュールに前記無線受信部が設けられ、1の前記電池モジュールに前記無線送信部が設けられているとともに、前記2以上の電池モジュールの前記電池監視部が、前記通信線により環状に接続されており、
前記電池監視部は、前記指令信号及び前記データ信号を、環状に配置された前記通信線を用いて、予め定められた送信方向に送信する電池システム。 - 前記電池グループは、3以上の前記電池モジュールを含み、前記3以上の前記電池モジュールのうち、1の電池モジュールに前記無線受信部と前記無線送信部との両方が設けられている請求項1に記載の電池システム。
- 前記電池グループでは、前記2以上の電池モジュールの前記電池監視部が、前記通信線により直列接続されており、
前記電池監視部は、前記指令信号及び前記データ信号を、前記無線受信部が設けられた一端側の前記電池モジュールから、前記無線送信部が設けられた他端側の前記電池モジュールに向けて送信する請求項1に記載の電池システム。 - 前記複数の電池モジュールは、前記電池グループに含まれない前記電池モジュールである独立モジュール(M1)を含み、
前記独立モジュールは、前記無線受信部と前記無線送信部とを備え、
前記制御装置は、前記独立モジュールから前記データ信号を取得した後、前記電池グループから前記データ信号を取得する前に、前記独立モジュールから取得された前記データ信号に基づいて、前記複数の電池モジュールにおける前記電池部が正常であるか否かを判定する判定部を備える請求項1から請求項3までのいずれか一項に記載の電池システム。 - 電池部(20)及び電池監視部(30)を有する複数の電池モジュール(M1~M5)と制御装置(10)とを備える電池システムであって、
前記複数の電池モジュールは、前記電池監視部が通信線(38)により接続され、その通信線を介して有線通信可能な2以上の前記電池モジュールを含む電池グループ(GR,GR1,GR2)を有し、
前記電池グループは、
前記制御装置から送信される指令信号を無線受信可能な無線受信部(40,40A)と、
前記電池モジュール毎に異なるモジュール識別情報(ID)を含むデータ信号を前記制御装置へ無線送信可能な無線送信部(40,40A)と、を備え、
前記電池グループでは、前記2以上の前記電池モジュールのうち、1の前記電池モジュールに前記無線受信部が設けられ、1の前記電池モジュールに前記無線送信部が設けられており、
前記複数の電池モジュールは、前記電池グループに含まれない前記電池モジュールである独立モジュール(M1)を含み、
前記独立モジュールは、前記無線受信部と前記無線送信部とを備え、
前記制御装置は、前記独立モジュールから前記データ信号を取得した後、前記電池グループから前記データ信号を取得する前に、前記独立モジュールから取得された前記データ信号に基づいて、前記複数の電池モジュールにおける前記電池部が正常であるか否かを判定する判定部を備える電池システム。 - 前記複数の電池モジュールでは、前記電池部が互いに直列接続された直列接続体(46)が構成されており、
前記独立モジュールから取得される前記データ信号には、前記直列接続体における所定の基準電圧に対する前記独立モジュールの前記電池部の電位を示す電位情報(ΔV)が含まれ、
前記判定部は、前記電位情報に基づいて、前記複数の電池モジュールにおける前記電池部が正常であるか否かを判定する請求項4又は5に記載の電池システム。 - 前記複数の電池モジュールは、複数の前記電池グループ(GR1,GR2)を有し、
各前記電池グループから取得される前記データ信号には、前記電池グループ毎に異なるグループ識別情報(IN)が含まれ、
前記制御装置は、前記グループ識別情報に基づいて各電池グループを識別するグループ識別部を備え、
各前記電池グループに含まれる前記電池モジュールの前記電池監視部は、前記グループ識別部の識別結果に基づいて前記モジュール識別情報を生成する生成部を備える請求項1から請求項6までのいずれか一項に記載の電池システム。 - 電池部(20)及び電池監視部(30)を有する複数の電池モジュール(M1~M5)と制御装置(10)とを備える電池システムであって、
前記複数の電池モジュールは、前記電池監視部が通信線(38)により接続され、その通信線を介して有線通信可能な2以上の前記電池モジュールを含む電池グループ(GR,GR1,GR2)を有し、
前記電池グループは、
前記制御装置から送信される指令信号を無線受信可能な無線受信部(40,40A)と、
前記電池モジュール毎に異なるモジュール識別情報(ID)を含むデータ信号を前記制御装置へ無線送信可能な無線送信部(40,40A)と、を備え、

前記複数の電池モジュールは、複数の前記電池グループ(GR1,GR2)を有し、
各前記電池グループから取得される前記データ信号には、前記電池グループ毎に異なるグループ識別情報(IN)が含まれ、
前記制御装置は、前記グループ識別情報に基づいて各電池グループを識別するグループ識別部を備え、
各前記電池グループに含まれる前記電池モジュールの前記電池監視部は、前記グループ識別部の識別結果に基づいて前記モジュール識別情報を生成する生成部を備える電池システム。 - 前記複数の前記電池グループは、互いに異なる個数の前記電池モジュールを含み、
前記グループ識別情報は、各前記電池グループに含まれる前記電池モジュールの個数を示す情報である請求項7又は8に記載の電池システム。
