Claims (9)
- 440nm以上470nm未満の波長領域内に強度最大値を持つ励起光を放つ固体発光素子と、
粒子状の蛍光体であり、かつ、Ce3+で付活された無機蛍光体である第一の蛍光体を含む第一の波長変換体と、Ce3+で付活された無機蛍光体である第二の蛍光体を含む第二の波長変換体とを組み合わせてなる波長変換部材と、
を備え、
前記第一の蛍光体は470nm以上530nm未満の波長領域内に強度最大値を持つ第一の蛍光を放ち、前記第二の蛍光体は580nm以上660nm未満の波長領域内に強度最大値を持つ第二の蛍光を放ち、
前記第一の波長変換体は、前記第一の蛍光体の粒子同士が接触していない分散状態を有する、発光装置。 - 前記第二の蛍光体は粒子状の蛍光体であり、
前記第二の波長変換体は、前記第二の蛍光体の粒子同士が接触している接触構造を有する、請求項1に記載の発光装置。 - 前記第二の波長変換体は、前記第二の蛍光体が焼結し、内部に複数の空隙を有する焼結体、又は前記第二の蛍光体が焼結し、内部に複数の空隙を有しないセラミックスである、請求項1又は2に記載の発光装置。
- 前記励起光は、前記第二の波長変換体を直接照射するように前記波長変換部材に入射し、前記波長変換部材を透過した光成分は出力光として出力される、請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記励起光は、前記第一の波長変換体を直接照射するように前記波長変換部材に入射し、前記波長変換部材に反射された光成分は出力光として出力される、請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記第一の蛍光体は、アルミン酸塩及び珪酸塩の少なくとも一方である、請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記第二の蛍光体は、珪酸塩及びアルミノ珪酸塩の少なくとも一方である、請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記第一の蛍光体は、ガーネット型の結晶構造を持つアルミン酸塩である、請求項6に記載の発光装置。
- 前記第二の蛍光体は、ガーネット型の結晶構造を持つ珪酸塩である、請求項7に記載の発光装置。
