Description
本出願は、発明の名称「Suture Delivery Device」の、2015年2月24日に出願した米国仮特許出願第62/120,022号に対して優先権を主張する。上記出願日に対する優先権を主張し、上記仮出願に記載された全ての記載を援用する。
別の実施形態では、ガイドワイヤ33は、ガイドワイヤ上に取り付けられた少なくとも1つの拡張可能なシール要素43を含む。図11A~図11Cに示される拡張可能な要素43は、例えば処置シースと縫合糸送達デバイス5の交換時、および処置シースの取り外し時に、血管アクセス部位の止血を維持するために、内部血管壁に対して拡張することができる。代わりに、縫合糸送達デバイスが縫合糸を組織内に適切に配置しなかった場合、止血を維持するためにガイドワイヤを使用することができ、上記デバイスを別の血管閉鎖デバイスに交換する必要がある。第2の血管の閉鎖デバイスは、別の縫合糸送達デバイスであっても、または別のタイプの血管閉鎖デバイスのであってもよい。シール要素を有するこのガイドワイヤは、処置シースが配置される前またはシース取り外し後の処置の最後のどちらかに縫合糸が配置される場合、血管閉鎖デバイスを交換するために使用してもよい。

Claims (8)
- 動脈切開部を通って動脈中に挿入されるサイズおよび形状の遠位先端部を有する本体;
該本体内に保持された少なくとも1つの縫合要素;
少なくとも1本の縫合糸捕捉ロッド;および
該遠位先端部に位置するガイドワイヤルーメン
を含み、
縫合糸捕捉ロッドは縫合要素に連動し、縫合要素が血管壁から伸び、縫合要素を血管壁に貫通させた後、該縫合要素が対向部分間の結び目を画定するように縫合要素を該血管壁に貫通させるように配列され、
該ガイドワイヤルーメンが、遠位先端部の最遠位端に第1の開口部、並びに最遠位端および使用中に血管に対して位置決めする血管壁位置決め装置との間に位置する第2の開口部を形成し、
該第1の開口部および第2の開口部の各々が、ガイドワイヤがデバイスを出入りするための位置を提供し、
前記遠位先端部は、遠位先端部が動脈内を進む間、遠位先端部を前記ガイドワイヤの湾曲に適合させることが可能であるほど可撓性を有し、
前記遠位先端部の可撓性が最遠位端に向かう動きおよび遠位先端部の動きを増大しながら、前記遠位先端部の可撓性が遠位先端部の長さにわたって変化し、
前記遠位先端部が約3cmの長さを有し、デバイスの挿入可能な部分が約4~5cmの長さを有し、該挿入可能な部分が動脈切開部を通って挿入するデバイスの一部分である、血管壁の開口部を閉鎖するためのデバイス。 - 前記本体が第2の開口部を通って前記ルーメンの中への前記ガイドワイヤの通過を可能にし、ガイドワイヤをガイドワイヤルーメン内に配置する際に第2の開口部外への血流を防止する、前記ガイドワイヤルーメン内に位置する弁を更に含む、請求項1記載のデバイス。
- 前記縫合要素が、前記血管壁位置決め装置の内外に伸びる、請求項1記載のデバイス。
- 前記縫合要素が、前記血管壁位置決め装置の少なくとも1つの外側端の内外に伸びる、請求項1記載のデバイス。
- ガイドワイヤルーメン全体が、前記遠位先端部を通ってのみ伸びる、請求項1記載のデバイス。
- 前記ガイドワイヤルーメンのどの部分も、前記血管壁位置決め装置の近位には配置されていない、請求項1記載のデバイス。
- 前記遠位先端部が、前記ガイドワイヤの可撓性より高い可撓性を有する、請求項1記載のデバイス。
- 前記遠位先端部が、前記ガイドワイヤの剛性より低い剛性を有する、請求項1記載のデバイス。
