Description
本出願は、2016年5月2日に出願された米国特許仮出願第62/330,522号明細書に基づく優先権を主張するものである。 本発明は、部分およびプロセスのシステムから成り、そのシステムは、植物材料、又は油を含む基材(本開示では、「植物材料」と一般的に称す)から、植物油、テルペノイド、オレオレジン、および/又は、樹脂(本開示では、「油」又は「植物油」と一般的に称す)を抽出するために用いられる。抽出する方法は、植物材料内に含まれる油が揮発し、植物材料から蒸気の状態で出ていくことが引き起こされるように、加熱されたガス、および/又は、特定の温度に加熱された表面に、植物材料を接触させる段階を含む。蒸気は次に、油成分の完全性を保存および保護するような方式で、収集溶剤を用いて凝縮され収集される。システムで用いられる収集溶剤は、エタノール又はエタノールと水との混合物であるのが好ましいが、水、クロロホルム、又は多数の他の適切な有機又は無機溶剤が、望まれる結果を得るために用いられてよい。収集溶剤から捕集された植物油を分離する方法は、システムの最終生成物として、実質的に精製された植物油抽出が得られる方法に含まれている。
Claims (13)
- 植物材料から油を抽出する方法であって、前記方法は、
植物材料から油を抽出するシステムを提供する段階であって、前記システムは、(a)前記システム全体にガスストリームを行き渡らせるよう動作可能なガス移動デバイスと、(b)前記ガスストリームが抽出室を通るよう方向付けられるように、前記ガス移動デバイスと連通する前記抽出室と、(c)前記ガスストリームから植物材料を分離するように構成された植物材料分離器と、(d)前記ガスストリームが凝縮面に方向付けられるように、前記ガス移動デバイスと連通する前記凝縮面とを含む、段階と、
前記抽出室に植物材料を提供する段階と、
前記抽出室を通って前記ガスストリームを前記ガスストリームが前記植物材料を運ぶように行き渡らせて、前記植物材料を前記ガスストリーム内に混入する段階と、
油が前記植物材料から前記ガスストリーム内に抽出されるよう、前記ガスストリーム内に混入している前記植物材料から前記油を揮発させる段階と、
前記ガスストリームを前記植物材料分離器へと行き渡らせる段階であって、前記ガスストリームが前記抽出室から前記植物材料分離器へ前記植物材料を運ぶ段階と、
前記植物材料分離器で前記ガスストリームから前記植物材料を分離する段階と、
前記ガスストリームを前記凝縮面に接触させて、前記ガスストリームから前記油の一部を捕集して取り除く段階と、
前記凝縮面から前記油の一部を収集することにより、収集された油を生成する段階と、
を備える、方法。 - 前記揮発させる段階の後に前記油を含む前記ガスストリームを冷却する段階を更に備える、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記植物材料はヘンプ又はカンナビスを含む、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記油の一部および前記収集された油は、リナロール、カリオフィレン、ミルセン、リモネン、フムレン、ピネンのうちのいずれか、又は、2つ以上の組み合わせを含む、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記油の一部および前記収集された油はデルタ-9-テトラヒドロカンナビノールを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記油の一部および前記収集された油はカンナビジオールを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記収集された油がリナロールを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記収集された油がカリオフィレンを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記収集された油がミルセンを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記収集された油がフムレンを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記収集された油がピネンを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記収集された油がデルタ-9-テトラヒドロカンナビノールを含む、請求項7~11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記収集された油がカンナビジオールを含む、請求項7~11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
