Description
現在、高速度及び高荷重において動作することが可能な軽量の航空機用タイヤの開発が進められている。従来技術として、特許文献1に開示されている航空機用タイヤにおいてジグザグベルト層を使用することが知られている。ジグザグベルト層は、ベルトパッケージの外側横縁部に切断後のベルト縁部が残ることがなくなるという利点を有する。各ジグザグベルト層の固有の可撓性は、コーナリング力を向上させる助けにもなる。しかし、ジグザグベルト層を備えるタイヤは、各ベルト縁部における層の数が過剰になり、それによって、耐久性が低下する場合がある。さらに、概して積載量と重量は両立しない。したがって、高速度及び高荷重において動作することが可能であり、重量が低い、改良された航空機用タイヤが必要である。
航空機用タイヤ10は、少なくとも1つのジグザグベルト補強構造70をさらに有している。図2に示されているように、本発明のジグザグベルト構造は、タイヤ組立てドラム49又はコアの左右の縁部間を互い違いに延びるように概ね周方向に巻かれたゴム入りストリップコード43から形成されている。コードストリップ43は、ジグザグ経路に沿って何度も巻かれ、その間、隣接するコードストリップ43との間に隙間を形成しないように軸線方向に所望の量ずらされる。その結果、各コードは、各横方向ドラム端部の所の折返し点において曲げ方向を変化させつつ周方向に延びる。ジグザグベルト構造の各コードは、通常タイヤの赤道面EPに対して5度~30度のコード角Aで互いに交叉している。各ジグザグベルト構造は通常、ジグザグベルト構造内に形成された少なくとも2層のコードを有しており、ベルト構造の外側横端部に切断後の端部が残らないという利点を有している。

- カーカス(22)とベルト補強構造(70)とを有し、前記ベルト補強構造は、複数の補強コード(44,48)のストリップ(43,43’)を有するか、あるいは、複数の補強コード(44,48)のストリップ(43,43’)を巻くことによって形成され、前記ストリップ(43,43’)は、複数の第1の補強コード(44)と、少なくとも1つの第2の補強コード(48)とを有するか、あるいは、複数の第1の補強コード(44)と、少なくとも1つの第2の補強コード(48)とで形成され、前記第2の補強コード(48)は、前記ストリップ(43,43’)の各横端部に配置され、(i)前記ストリップ(43,43’)は、三角形である外側の横端部または横縁部(45,45’)であって、横方向に隣接するストリップ(43,43’)同士が接合して前記ベルト補強構造(70)を形成したときに前記三角形のまま維持される外側の横端部または横縁部(45,45’)を有し、(ii)前記第1の補強コード(44)の少なくとも1つまたは全部は、前記第2の補強コード(48)の少なくとも1つまたは全部よりも大きい直径を有する、空気入りタイヤにおいて、
前記タイヤ(10)は、航空機用ラジアルタイヤであり、前記第1の補強コード(44)は、POK、アラミドのフィラメント、または、アラミドとナイロンのフィラメントによって形成され、前記第2の補強コード(48)は、ナイロンのフィラメントによって形成され、前記第1の補強コード(44)は、該第1の補強コード(44)がPOKによって形成されている場合、前記第2の補強コード(48)よりも高い弾性率の素材で形成されている、空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記外側の横端部または横縁部(45,45’)は、横方向を指し示す先端形状を有する、請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記第1の補強コード(44)は、前記第2の補強コード(48)よりも高い弾性率の素材で形成されている、請求項1または2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記第1の補強コード(44)は、80%破断荷重時の接線係数が5000MPaよりも大きい、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記第2の補強コード(48)は、80%破断荷重時の接線係数が5000MPaよりも小さい、請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 1つのストリップ(43,43’)内に少なくとも2つの第2の補強コード(48)が設けられ、それぞれの第2の補強コード(48)は、前記ストリップ(43,43’)の各横端部に配置されている、請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記第2の補強コード(48)は、840/2デニールのコード構造を有するナイロンのフィラメントによって形成されている、請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記ストリップ(43,43’)は、少なくとも9つの補強コード(44,48)を有する、請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記ストリップ(43,43’)は、5~25mmの範囲の横方向幅を有する、請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記ストリップ(43,43’)は、長さ2.54cm当たりの端部数(epi)が10~24の範囲にある、請求項1から9のいずれか1項に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記ベルト(70)は、ジグザグに巻かれたベルトである、請求項1から10のいずれか1項に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
