Description
本実施形態における金型1の製造方法を説明する。
上記の説明では、低溶融率部21の溶融率が実質的に0%である場合、つまり、低溶融率部21が実質的に未焼結・未溶融の金属粉末のみで構成されている場合を例示したが、本発明の実施形態はこのような構成に限定されるものではない。低溶融率部21の溶融率は、0%超であってもよい。つまり、低溶融率部21は、金型1の製造時にレーザ照射が行われなかった領域であってもよいし、レーザ照射が他の部分よりも弱い強度および/または短い時間で行われた領域であってもよい。
図2、図3および図4に加えて図9も参照しながら、熱媒体流路10の構造をより詳しく説明する。図9は、熱媒体流路10の一部をXY平面、YZ平面およびZX平面で切断して示す斜視図である。
これまでの説明では、熱媒体流路10が三次元ハニカム状である場合を例示したが、熱媒体流路10の形状は、これに限定されるものではない。例えば、熱媒体流路10は、二次元ハニカム状であってもよい。
これまでの説明では、三次元メッシュ状の熱伝導部22を例示したが、緩衝層20が有する熱伝導部22の形状は、これに限定されるものではない。
上記の説明では、車両用ホイールの少なくとも一部を形成するための金型1を例示したが、本発明の実施形態は、これらの金型に限定されるものではない。本発明の実施形態は、種々の金型に広く用いることができ、例えば、車両用のフレーム部品やエンジン用のシリンダブロック、クランクケースなどの少なくとも一部を形成するための金型にも好適に用いることができる。
Claims (11)
- 付加製造技術により形成された金型であって、
金型内部に設けられ、熱媒体が流れる熱媒体流路と、
前記熱媒体が金型内部に導入される媒体導入口と、
前記熱媒体が金型外部に排出される媒体排出口と、
金型表面と前記熱媒体流路との間に位置する緩衝層と、
を有し、
前記緩衝層は、金型内部のうちの前記緩衝層以外の部分よりも溶融率が低い低溶融率部を含み、
前記低溶融率部は、未焼結・未溶融の金属粉末で構成されている、金型。 - 前記緩衝層は、前記低溶融率部よりも溶融率が高い熱伝導部であって、前記緩衝層の前記熱媒体流路側の第1端面から金型表面側の第2端面まで連続する熱伝導部をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の金型。
- 前記熱伝導部の溶融率は、金型内部のうちの前記緩衝層以外の部分と同じである、請求項2に記載の金型。
- 前記熱伝導部は、三次元メッシュ状である、請求項2または3に記載の金型。
- 前記熱伝導部は、三次元ハニカム状である、請求項2または3に記載の金型。
- 前記熱伝導部は、二次元ハニカム状である、請求項2または3に記載の金型。
- 前記熱伝導部は、前記第1端面から前記第2端面に延びる複数の柱状体である、請求項2または3に記載の金型。
- 前記緩衝層の厚さは、2.0mm以上である、請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の金型。
- 前記熱媒体流路は、三次元ハニカム状である、請求項1から8のいずれかに記載の金型。
- 前記熱媒体流路は、二次元ハニカム状である、請求項1から8のいずれかに記載の金型。
- 車両用ホイール、車両用フレーム部品、シリンダブロックまたはクランクケースの少なくとも一部を形成するための金型である、請求項1から10のいずれかに記載の金型。
