Description
本開示の非水電解液電池用部材において、前記共重合体におけるフルオロアルキルビニルエーテル単位の含有量が、全単量体単位に対して、1.0〜10.0質量%であることが好ましい。
本開示の非水電解液電池用部材において、前記フルオロアルキルビニルエーテル単位が、パーフルオロ(プロピルビニルエーテル)単位であることが好ましい。
本開示の非水電解液電池用部材は、10%以上の圧縮変形率で圧縮変形した状態で用いることができる。
本開示の非水電解液電池用部材は、非水電解液との接液面を有することが好ましい。
本開示の非水電解液電池用部材は、電解液浸漬試験において検出される溶出フッ素イオン量が、1ppm以下であることが好ましい。
本開示の非水電解液電池用部材は、射出成形品であることが好ましい。
本開示の非水電解液電池用部材は、封止部材または絶縁部材として好適に利用できる。

(式中、Y1はFまたはCF3を表し、Rfは炭素数1〜5のパーフルオロアルキル基を表す。pは0〜5の整数を表し、qは0〜5の整数を表す。)で表される単量体、および、一般式(2):

(式中、Xは、同一または異なり、H、FまたはCF3を表し、R1は、直鎖または分岐した、H、Cl、BrおよびIからなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の原子を1〜2個含んでいてもよい炭素数が1〜6のフルオロアルキル基、若しくは、H、Cl、BrおよびIからなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の原子を1〜2個含んでいてもよい炭素数が5または6の環状フルオロアルキル基を表す。)で表される単量体からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種を挙げることができる。

従って、たとえば、−COFの官能基数とは、−CF2COFに起因する吸収周波数1883cm−1の吸収ピークから求めた官能基数と、−CH2COFに起因する吸収周波数1840cm−1の吸収ピークから求めた官能基数との合計である。
各単量体単位の含有量は、NMR分析装置(たとえば、ブルカーバイオスピン社製、AVANCE300 高温プローブ)により測定した。
ASTM D1238に従って、メルトインデクサーG−01(東洋精機製作所製)を用いて、372℃、5kg荷重下で内径2.1mm、長さ8mmのノズルから10分間あたりに流出するポリマーの質量(g/10分)を求めた。
示差走査熱量計(商品名:X−DSC7000、日立ハイテクサイエンス社製)を用いて10℃/分の速度で昇温したときの融解熱曲線における極大値に対応する温度として求めた。
ペレットを、コールドプレスにより成形して、厚さ0.25〜0.3mmのフィルムを作製した。このフィルムをフーリエ変換赤外分光分析装置〔FT−IR(Spectrum One、パーキンエルマー社製)〕により40回スキャンし、分析して赤外吸収スペクトルを得、完全にフッ素化されて官能基が存在しないベーススペクトルとの差スペクトルを得た。この差スペクトルに現れる特定の官能基の吸収ピークから、下記式(A)に従って試料における炭素原子1×106個あたりの官能基数Nを算出した。

本開示では、−COOH、−COOCH3、−CH2OH、−COF、−CF=CF2、−CONH2、−CF2Hの数の合計を官能基数とする。
特開2009−059690号公報の実施例2に記載の製造方法と同様にして、下記ペレットを得た。
MFR:30.9(g/10min)
融点:303℃
官能基数:4個/106C
20mLガラス製サンプル瓶に、得られた試験片10枚、および、2gの電解液(ジメチルカーボネート(DMC))を入れて、サンプル瓶の蓋を閉めた。サンプル瓶を、80℃の恒温槽に入れて、24〜144時間放置することにより、試験片を電解液に浸漬させた。その後、サンプル瓶を恒温槽から取り出し、室温まで冷却してから、サンプル瓶から試験片を取り出して、試験片の重量を測定した。浸漬前の試験片の重量に対する、浸漬後の試験片の重量の変化率(質量%)を算出した。結果を図1に示す。
射出成形機(住友重機械工業社製、商品名SG50)を用いて、上記ペレットを、表3に記載の条件で、スパイラル状のバーフロー金型(金型の大きさ:152.5mm×152.5mm、キャビティー厚み:1mm、キャビティー幅:23mm)に注入して、射出成形品を得た。得られた射出成形品の長さ(バーフロー流動長)を測定した。また、得られた射出成形品の外観を目視で観察し、以下の基準により評価した。結果を表3に示す。
良好:表面の30%未満の範囲に、カスレ、フローマークなどの外観不良が観られるが、表面の残りの範囲は、平滑で、透明性にも優れている
良:表面の30〜80%の範囲に、カスレ、フローマークなどの外観不良が観られるが、表面の残りの範囲は、平滑で、透明性にも優れている
不良:表面の80%超の範囲に、カスレ、フローマークなどの外観不良が観られる
国際公開第2008/047906号の実施例7に記載の製造方法と同様にして、下記ペレットを得た。

特開2009−059690号公報の実施例3に記載の製造方法と同様にして、下記ペレットを得た。
MFR:72.8(g/10min)
融点:300℃
官能基数:0個/106C
上記ペレットを用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、試験片を作製し、得られた試験片を用いて、電解液浸漬試験を行った。結果を図2に示す。また、上記ペレットを用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、バーフロー試験を行った。結果を表3に示す。
フッ素化しなかった以外は、特開2009−059690号公報の実施例2に記載の製造方法と同様にして、下記ペレットを得た。

以下の4種類のTFE/PPVE共重合体のペレットを用いた。
組成:TFE/PPVE=94.4/5.6(質量%)

融点:303℃
官能基数:303個/106C
国際公開第2003/048214号の実施例2に記載の製造方法と同様にして、下記ペレットを得た。

融点:302℃
官能基数:4個/106C
国際公開第2003/048214号の合成例2に記載の製造方法と同様にして、下記ペレットを得た。
MFR:14.5(g/10min)
融点:302℃
官能基数:271個/106C
これらの試験および測定は、ASTM D395またはJIS K6262に記載の方法に準じた。
金型(内径13mm、高さ38mm)に、上記ペレットを約2g投入した状態で、熱板プレスにて370℃で30分間溶融後、圧力0.2MPa(樹脂圧)で加圧しながら水冷して、高さ約8mmの成形品を作製した。その後、得られた成形品を切削することにより、外径13mm、高さ6mmの試験片を作製した。作製した試験片を、圧縮装置を用いて、常温で、圧縮変形率25%まで圧縮(つまり、高さ6mmの試験片を、高さ4.5mmまで圧縮)した。

t0:試験片の元の高さ(mm)
t1:スペーサの高さ(mm)
t2:圧縮装置から取り外した試験片の高さ(mm)
上記の試験においては、t0=6mm、t1=4.5mmである。
Claims (9)
- テトラフルオロエチレン単位およびフルオロアルキルビニルエーテル単位を含有する共重合体を含有し、前記共重合体の主鎖炭素数106個当たりの官能基数が、100個以下であり、前記共重合体のメルトフローレートが、30g/10分超であり、10%以上の圧縮変形率で圧縮変形した状態で用いられる非水電解液電池用部材。
- 前記共重合体の融点が、295〜320℃である請求項1に記載の非水電解液電池用部材。
- 前記共重合体におけるフルオロアルキルビニルエーテル単位の含有量が、全単量体単位に対して、1.0〜10.0質量%である請求項1または2に記載の非水電解液電池用部材。
- 前記フルオロアルキルビニルエーテル単位が、パーフルオロ(プロピルビニルエーテル)単位である請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の非水電解液電池用部材。
- 非水電解液と接する状態で用いられる請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の非水電解液電池用部材。
- 非水電解液との接液面を有する請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の非水電解液電池用部材。
- 電解液浸漬試験において検出される溶出フッ素イオン量が、1ppm以下である請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の非水電解液電池用部材。
- 射出成形品である請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の非水電解液電池用部材。
- 封止部材または絶縁部材である請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の非水電解液電池用部材。
