Description
図1は、本発明の実施の形態1におけるディスク型ガス発生器の概略図である。まず、この図1を参照して、本実施の形態におけるディスク型ガス発生器1Aの構成について説明する。
図3は、上述した実施の形態1に基づいた第1変形例に係るディスク型ガス発生器の要部の拡大断面図である。以下、この図3を参照して、本変形例に係るディスク型ガス発生器1Bについて説明する。
図4は、上述した実施の形態1に基づいた第2変形例に係るディスク型ガス発生器の要部の拡大断面図である。以下、この図4を参照して、本変形例に係るディスク型ガス発生器1Cについて説明する。
図5は、上述した実施の形態1に基づいた第3変形例に係るディスク型ガス発生器の要部の拡大断面図である。以下、この図5を参照して、本変形例に係るディスク型ガス発生器1Dについて説明する。
図6は、上述した実施の形態1に基づいた第4変形例に係るディスク型ガス発生器の要部の拡大断面図である。以下、この図6を参照して、本変形例に係るディスク型ガス発生器1Eについて説明する。
以下においては、本発明の効果を確認した検証試験について説明する。検証試験においては、実施例として、上述した実施の形態1におけるディスク型ガス発生器1Aを4個製作するとともに、比較例1,2に係るディスク型ガス発生器1X,1Yをそれぞれ4個ずつ製作した。
図10は、本発明の実施の形態2におけるディスク型ガス発生器の概略図である。以下、この図10を参照して、本実施の形態におけるディスク型ガス発生器1Fについて説明する。
上述した本発明の実施の形態1および2ならびにその変形例においては、金属製の部材をプレス加工することによって成形されたプレス成形品にて上部側シェルおよび下部側シェルを構成した場合を例示したが、必ずしもこれに限定されるものではなく、プレス加工と他の加工(鍛造加工や絞り加工、切削加工等)との組み合わせによって形成された上部側シェルおよび下部側シェルを使用することとしてもよいし、上記他の加工のみによって形成された上部側シェルおよび下部側シェルを使用することとしてもよい。
Claims (4)
- ガス噴出口が設けられた筒状の周壁部と、前記周壁部の軸方向の一端および他端を閉塞する天板部および底板部とを含み、ガス発生剤が収容された燃焼室を内部に有するハウジングと、
前記底板部に組付けられ、作動時において着火する点火薬が収容された点火部を含む点火器と、
内部の空間が前記点火部に面するように、前記燃焼室に向けて突出して配置されたカップ状部材と、
前記カップ状部材の内部の空間を前記底板部側の第1空間と前記天板部側の第2空間とに仕切るように、前記カップ状部材の内部に配置された仕切り部とを備え、
前記仕切り部は、前記点火器の作動に伴って破裂または変形あるいは溶融可能となるように、前記点火部に対向して配置され、
前記第1空間が、伝火薬が充填された伝火室として構成されているとともに、前記第2空間が、空隙部として構成され、
前記仕切り部が、筒状部および底部を含む有底筒状の仕切り部材の前記底部にて構成され、
前記仕切り部材が、前記カップ状部材に圧入されることで固定され、
前記筒状部が前記仕切り部としての前記底部よりも前記天板部側に配置されることにより、前記仕切り部としての前記底部の位置決めが、前記筒状部によって行なわれている、ガス発生器。 - 前記仕切り部が、前記カップ状部材よりも脆弱である、請求項1に記載のガス発生器。
- 前記カップ状部材が、前記点火器の作動に伴う前記伝火薬の燃焼により前記第1空間および前記第2空間を規定する部分の全体が破裂または溶融する部材にて構成されている、請求項1または2に記載のガス発生器。
- 前記筒状部が、外側に向けて折り返された折返し部を前記天板部側の端部に含み、
前記折返し部が前記カップ状部材の側壁部に当接することにより、前記仕切り部材が、前記カップ状部材に固定されている、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のガス発生器。
