Description
本出願は、2014年7月2日に出願され、「PORTABLE SCOPE FOR MEDICAL PROCEDURES」と題する米国特許仮出願第62/020389号の米国特許法第119条(e)に基づく利益を主張する、2015年7月2日に出願され、「BORESCOPES AND RELATED METHODS AND SYSTEMS」と題する米国特許出願第14/790977号の一部継続出願である。上記出願のそれぞれは、その全体が参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
本発明の実施形態は、例えば、腹腔鏡検査、内視鏡検査、他の関連する医療用ボアスコープ検査、およびエンジン、タービン、または建物検査などの他の工業用途を含むことがある、ボアスコープ技術に関する。
Claims (6)
- 第1の管端と前記第1の管端の反対側にある第2の管端とを備える管と、
前記第1の管端に隣接して配置され、前記第1の管端で光を発するように構成される光源と、
前記第1の管端に隣接して配置されたイメージセンサと、
を備える、医療用ボアスコープと、
前記イメージセンサに結合されたデータ通信リンクと、
前記イメージセンサから画像データを受信するように構成されたイメージプロセッサを備えるドングルであって、前記ドングルは、前記ドングルが複数の異なる医療用ボアスコープに結合できるように、前記医療用ボアスコープに取り外し可能に結合可能であり、前記ドングルは、前記医療用ボアスコープからボアスコープ固有のパラメータデータの受信および検出のうちの少なくとも1つを行うようにさらに構成され、前記ボアスコープ固有のパラメータデータは、前記医療用ボアスコープに固有のデータを含む、ドングルと
を備える、医療用ボアスコープシステム。 - 前記ボアスコープ固有のパラメータデータが、前記医療用ボアスコープに関連付けられた較正データを含む、請求項1に記載の医療用ボアスコープシステム。
- 前記ボアスコープ固有のパラメータデータが、前記医療用ボアスコープに関連付けられたシリアル番号および型番のうちの少なくとも1つを含み、前記ボアスコープ固有のパラメータデータが、前記医療用ボアスコープに格納される、請求項1に記載の医療用ボアスコープシステム。
- 前記医療用ボアスコープの少なくとも一部が使い捨てであり、前記医療用ボアスコープが、前記医療用ボアスコープの使用の期間および回数のうちの少なくとも1つを判定するように構成される、請求項1に記載の医療用ボアスコープシステム。
- 前記医療用ボアスコープが、使用の前記期間および前記回数のうちの少なくとも1つを検出するために前記ドングルを使用することによって、前記医療用ボアスコープの使用の前記期間および前記回数のうちの少なくとも1つを判定するように構成される、請求項4に記載の医療用ボアスコープシステム。
- 前記ドングルが、閾値を超えた前記医療用ボアスコープの使用を検出した場合に、前記医療用ボアスコープを無効にすること、警告音を提供すること、視覚的警告を提供すること、および警告信号を送信することのうちの少なくとも1つを行うことによって、前記医療用ボアスコープの使用の前記期間および前記回数のうちの少なくとも1つを前記閾値に制限するように構成される、請求項5に記載の医療用ボアスコープシステム。
