Claims (5)
- 伴侶動物の健康状態を判定する方法であって、
判定対象の伴侶動物の超音波測定を行い、超音波測定によって得られた画像から背最長筋厚を計測する背最長筋厚計測ステップと、
前記背最長筋厚から除脂肪体組織量を算出する除脂肪体組織量算出ステップと、
予め設定されている健康な伴侶動物の除脂肪体組織量と前記除脂肪体組織量算出ステップで算出された除脂肪体組織量との比較によって健康状態を判定する健康状態判定ステップとを有する伴侶動物の健康状態判定方法。 - 前記背最長筋厚は当該背最長筋厚の最大値或いは平均値である請求項1に記載の伴侶動物の健康状態判定方法。
- 前記除脂肪体組織量算出ステップは、(係数Kb×背最長筋厚(cm)+切片Cb)なる演算を行って除脂肪体組織量を算出する請求項1又は2に記載の伴侶動物の健康状態判定方法。
- 前記伴侶動物が猫であり、前記係数Kbは1100〜1800、前記切片Cbは180〜300である請求項3に記載の伴侶動物の健康状態判定方法。
- 前記伴侶動物が猫であり、前記健康な伴侶動物の除脂肪体組織量は2000〜3100gである請求項1から4の何れか一項に記載の伴侶動物の健康状態判定方法。
