アルカリ金属塩化物、アルカリ土類金属炭酸塩、アルカリ金属ギ酸塩又はアルカリ土類金属ギ酸塩、及び所望によりアルカリ土類金属塩化物を混合して、均一な粉末状の混合物を得る工程と、
微細に分散されたポリシロキサンを、上記均一な粉末状の混合物に添加する工程と、
を有する、上述の凍結防止組成物の製造方法に関する。

実施例1に係る組成物を用いて、以下の表1に示す割合で当該組成物を含有し、直径100mm及び厚さ約25mmを有するアスファルト合材の厚板(slab)を3つ、実験室で作製した。同様の組成を有するが上記組成物は含有しないアスファルト合材の厚板(slab)も3つ作製した。
実施例1に係る組成物による大気中からの水分の吸収を確認し、ジメチコンを含まない実施例5に係る組成物と比較した。
本発明に係る組成物をアスファルト合材へ添加することにより、合材を用いて作製された摩耗層の物理的機械的特性に何らかの変化が生じるかどうかについて確認した。
本発明に係る組成物とジメチコンを含まない公知製品Winterpavに相当する実施例5に係る組成物との比較試験を行った。
実施例1に係る組成物を含む製品1500kgを2つのポリエチレン製「ビッグバッグ」(FIBC(flexible intermediate bulk container)中に封入して重ね、その2つを、それぞれ同様の組成物を25kg含有する低融点LDPE(low density polyethylene)製の4つの袋の上に置いて、室温の保存室に置いておくことにより、上記製品のバッチの保存中の挙動を確認した。2か月後、2つのビッグバッグを検査して製品の状態をチェックしたところ、パッキング現象は見られず、認識可能な微細なダストの発生は無く、重力により僅か約30秒でこれらのバッグの内容物を取り出すことが可能であった。4つの低融点バッグにもパッキング現象は見られなかった。
Claims (15)
- 道路舗装材用のアスファルト合材中に配合するのに適した凍結防止組成物であって、アルカリ金属塩化物、アルカリ土類金属炭酸塩、アルカリ金属ギ酸塩又はアルカリ土類金属ギ酸塩、ポリシロキサン、及び所望によりアルカリ土類金属塩化物を含み、前記ポリシロキサンは、前記組成物の総重量に対して0.5〜2.0重量%の量で含有されている、凍結防止組成物。
- アルカリ金属塩化物及びアルカリ土類金属塩化物を含み、前記アルカリ金属塩化物は塩化ナトリウムであり、前記アルカリ土類金属塩化物は塩化カルシウムである、請求項1に記載の凍結防止組成物。
- 前記アルカリ土類金属炭酸塩は、炭酸カルシウムである、請求項2に記載の凍結防止組成物。
- 前記ギ酸塩は、アルカリ金属ギ酸塩である、請求項3に記載の凍結防止組成物。
- 前記組成物の総重量に対する重量パーセントで示される以下の成分:
塩化ナトリウム 60〜84
ギ酸ナトリウム 5〜15
塩化カルシウム 5〜15
炭酸カルシウム 2〜8
ポリシロキサン 0.5〜2.0
からなる、請求項4に記載の凍結防止組成物。 - 前記ポリシロキサンは、ポリジメチルシロキサン(ジメチコン)である、請求項1〜請求項5のいずれか一項に記載の凍結防止組成物。
- 前記ポリジメチルシロキサンの粘度が、300〜400mm2/秒である、請求項6に記載の凍結防止組成物。
- 20〜70重量%の請求項1〜請求項7のいずれか一項に記載の凍結防止組成物、及び30〜80重量%のアスファルトを含む凍結防止アスファルト調合物。
- 30〜60重量%の前記凍結防止組成物及び40〜70重量%のアスファルトを含む、請求項8に記載の凍結防止アスファルト調合物。
- 骨材と、アスファルトと、フィラーと、前記骨材の重量に対して2〜6重量%の請求項1〜請求項7のいずれか一項に記載の前記凍結防止組成物と、を含む、凍結防止道路舗装材を提供するためのアスファルト合材。
- 骨材と、フィラーと、前記骨材の重量に対して3〜10重量%の請求項8又は請求項9に記載の前記凍結防止アスファルト調合物と、を含む、凍結防止道路舗装材を提供するためのアスファルト合材。
- 130℃〜200℃の範囲内の温度で撹拌しながら、アスファルト及び請求項1〜請求項7のいずれか一項に記載の凍結防止組成物を骨材及びフィラーの混合物に添加する工程を有する、請求項10に記載のアスファルト合材の製造方法。
- 130℃〜200℃の範囲内の温度で撹拌しながら、請求項8又は請求項9に記載の凍結防止アスファルト調合物を骨材及びフィラーの混合物に添加する工程を有する、請求項11に記載のアスファルト合材の製造方法。
- 前記アルカリ金属塩化物、前記アルカリ土類金属炭酸塩、前記アルカリ金属ギ酸塩又はアルカリ土類金属ギ酸塩、及び所望により前記アルカリ土類金属塩化物を混合して、均一な粉末状の混合物を得る工程と、
微細に分散された前記ポリシロキサンを、前記均一な粉末状の混合物に添加する工程と、
を有する、請求項1に記載の凍結防止組成物の製造方法。 - 前記ポリシロキサンを添加する前記工程は、ミキサー中で前記均一な粉末状の混合物を撹拌しながら、噴霧装置により前記ポリシロキサンを前記混合物に噴霧することにより行われる、請求項14に記載の製造方法。
