Description
The present invention is a shall of related mosquitoes, gnats, biting flies, house dust mites, the human body for pest repellent to protect the human body from pests such as bedbugs.
Various patents have been filed for the purpose of improving usability and reducing irritation of pest repellents for human body. The pest repellent for the human body is basically applied to the exposed skin of the human body such as the arms, legs and neck muscles, that is, the part that is susceptible to external stimuli, and in recent years, it protects the skin together with the pest repellent component. blended cosmetic UV absorbers are used in materials and ultraviolet scattering agent for the purpose, Patent Document 1 (JP-a-5-92915 JP) for the purpose of sunscreen and repellent and Patent Document 2 (JP-a-8- 183720) has also been filed with Patent Document 3 (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2003-160413), which contains components expected to have a moisturizing effect, such as aloe extract and peach extract, for the purpose of reducing the offensive odor of diet. There is.
On the other hand, some aqueous pest repellents for humans have been proposed with the aim of improving usability and reducing irritation by blending water in the composition. For example, Patent Document 4 (Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 2003-192503), which improves the skin feel and odor by blending a pest repellent component, a water-soluble solvent and water, and defining the blending ratio of the water-soluble solvent and water, Patent Document 5 (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 11-), which contains a pest repellent component, an alcohol-based compound or a glycol-based compound, a solvent, and water for the purpose of stabilizing the pest repellent component and reducing dryness and irritation to more sensitive skin. No. 349409). Further, Patent Document 6 (Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 2005-132780) discloses a useful pest repellent for humans in which natural mineral water is selected as the water to be blended and the irritation is further reduced.
By the way, in order for the pest repellent component applied to the skin to continuously exert the pest repellent effect, it is also important to keep the pest repellent component on the skin as much as possible and prevent it from penetrating under the skin. Conventionally, measures have often been taken to increase the amount of the pest repellent component to increase the sustainability of the pest repellent effect, but it is not always possible to increase the amount of the pest repellent component indiscriminately.
For example, the aqueous pest repellent for humans of Patent Document 6 containing natural mineral water is useful in terms of improving usability and reducing irritation, but it also suppresses the penetration of pest repellent components into the skin. No mention was made of the sustainability of the pest repellent effect, and further studies were required.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, the pest repellent component Te for human body pest repellent smell containing aqueous, improve the sustainability of the pest repelling effect without increasing the amount of pest repellent component recklessly It is intended to provide a pest repellent for the human body.
The present invention has found that the following configuration exerts an excellent effect in achieving the above object.
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention adopts the following configuration.
(1) As a pest repellent component, 2- (2-hydroxyethyl) -1-piperidincarboxylic acid 1-methylpropyl and natural mineral water having an electrical conductivity of 2.5 mS / m to 15 mS / were desalted. A pest repellent for humans containing deep sea water and ethanol .
Water of the human body for the pest repellent of the present invention, Ru der very useful since it can improve the sustainability of the pest repelling effect without increasing the amount of pest repellent ingredients unnecessarily.
Examples of the pest repellent component used in the present invention include various synthetic or natural compounds having a repellent action or a blood sucking inhibitory action against pests. For example, 2- (2-hydroxyethyl) -1-piperidincarboxylic acid 1-methylpropyl [hereinafter referred to as icaridin], ethyl 3- (Nn-butylacetamide) propionate [hereinafter referred to as IR3535], DEET. , P-menthane-3,8-diol, hexylene glycol, eucalyptor, α-pinene, geraniol, citronellal, camphor, linalool, curan-3,4-diol and the like. Further, examples of natural products include essential oils and extracts obtained from cinnamon bark, citronella, lemongrass, clover, bergamot, laurel, eucalyptus, etc., and one or more of these can be selected and used. Among the above compounds and natural products, icaridin, IR3535, DEET, and p-menthane-3,8-diol are particularly preferable, and icaridin is particularly preferable.
The pest repellent component varies depending on the pest repellent effect of each drug, but is blended in an amount of 1 to 50% by mass, preferably 3 to 30% by mass, based on the total amount of the pest repellent for humans of the present invention.
The present invention, as a human body for pest repellent containing pest repellent component, electric conductivity of 1.5mS / m~30mS / m, preferably a natural mineral water of 2.5mS / m~15mS / m It is characterized by blending.
Examples of natural mineral water include water at the foot of the mountain, deep sea water, deep sea water, deep sea water, etc., and since they contain metal ions such as magnesium ion, calcium ion, and potassium ion, their uses are attracting attention in various fields. Has been done. For example, those whose hardness is adjusted to about 100 to 1000 by filtering and desalting treatment by a reverse osmosis membrane method or the like are sold as drinking water for the purpose of replenishing mineral components that tend to be deficient in the human body.
It has been known that when such a pest repellent for human body containing mineral water is directly applied to the skin, a moisturizing feeling and a refreshing feeling can be imparted by the mineral component, but the mineral component permeates the skin. No mention has been made of how it affects the skin. It is presumed that this is because it was thought that the effect of the mineral component on suppressing the skin penetration of the pest repellent component could not be expected, considering that the pest repellent component is easily washed away from the skin by the sweat component.
However, as a result of diligent studies on the action of mineral components in human pest repellents, the present inventors surprisingly found that natural mineral water having a specific electrical conductivity was added to this natural mineral. verify that the water can improve the sustainability of pest repellent effect, it has been led to completion of the present invention.
The present invention defines the electric conductivity of the natural mineral water to be blended in the range of 1.5 mS / m to 30 mS / m, preferably 2.5 mS / m to 15 mS / m. Although it is related to the metal ion concentration, it is an index different from the hardness that is usually used.
If the electrical conductivity is less than 1.5 mS / m, the effect of improving the duration of the pest repellent effect cannot be expected, while if it exceeds 30 mS / m, the corresponding effect of improving the duration of the pest repellent effect cannot be obtained. Not only that, it is not preferable because it may interfere with the stability of the pest repellent composition for human body.
In the present invention, if it is derived from natural mineral water, it is defined as "natural mineral water" including water diluted with deionized water or purified water, and the blending amount is the total amount of pest repellent for human body. 20 to 60% by mass is suitable.
Of the above-mentioned natural mineral waters, deep sea water collected from an aphotic zone having a water depth of 200 m or more has a good balance of mineral components, and has good cleanliness and stability. Then, the raw water is subjected to a desalting process, diluted with deionized water or purified water if necessary, and the electric conductivity thereof is adjusted to the range of 1.5 mS / m to 30 mS / m according to the present invention. It will be particularly suitable for.
The pest repellent for humans of the present invention is usually one selected from alcohol compounds and / or glycol compounds having 2 to 6 carbon atoms in order to solubilize water-insoluble pest repellent components. Two or more types are mixed.
Examples of such alcohol-based compounds and glycol-based compounds include ethanol and isopropanol, which are lower monohydric alcohols having 2 to 3 carbon atoms, and ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, propylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, 1,3-, which are glycol-based compounds. Examples thereof include butylene glycol, and these can be used alone or in combination. When ethanol is used, brewed ethanol, which has a mild effect on the skin and is generally used for food, is preferable.
In the present invention, if the blending amount of the alcohol-based compound or the glycol-based compound is set to 30 to 70% by mass with respect to the total amount of the pest repellent for human body, it is possible to maintain good properties as a preparation. ..
In the present invention, a surfactant may be added in addition to the above components in order to ensure the stability of the pest repellent composition for humans, as long as the gist of the present invention is not hindered. As such a surfactant, a nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 11 to 16 is particularly preferable, and polyoxyethylene (10 mol) oleyl ether {HLB = 12.4} and polyoxyethylene (20 mol) oleyl ether. {HLB = 15.1}, polyoxyethylene (9 mol) lauryl ether {HLB = 13.6}, polyoxyethylene (10 mol) cetyl ether {HLB = 12.9}, polyoxyethylene (15 mol) stearyl Polyoxyethylene alkyl ethers such as ether {HLB = 14.2}, polyoxyethylene (15 mol) isostearyl ether {HLB = 14.2}, polyoxyethylene (20 mol) sorbitan monooleate {HLB = 15 .7}, polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid esters such as polyoxyethylene (10 mol) sorbitan monolaurate {HLB = 14.9}, polyoxyethylene (20 mol) sorbitan monostearate {HLB = 15.7} , Polyoxyethylene (14 mol) monooleate {HLB = 13.7}, polyoxyethylene (9 mol) monolaurate {HLB = 13.3}, polyoxyethylene (14 mol) millistate {HLB = 14.6 } And the like, and polyoxyethylene alkyl esters and the like can be mentioned, and these can be used alone or in combination.
It is preferable to reduce the amount of the surfactant as much as possible in consideration of the irritation to the skin, but the nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 11 to 16 is effective in stabilizing the pest repellent composition for human body in a small amount. It is known.
It has also been reported that polyalkylene glycols having a molecular weight of about 200 to 5000, such as polyethylene glycol and polypropylene glycol, can suppress the penetration of pest repellent components into the skin and reduce irritation to the skin, and a small amount of these is added. You may.
Further, in order to improve the feeling of use (smoothness of the coated surface, etc.), inorganic powders such as silicic acid anhydride, talc and kaolin and organic powders such as modified starch and silk fiber powder may be blended. Furthermore, anti-inflammatory agents such as dipotassium glycyrrhizinate, allantin, alkyltrimethylammonium chloride, tocopherol acetate, camphor, para-aminobenzoic acid, amylsalicinate, octyl cinnamate, octyl methoxycinnamate, and ultraviolet absorption of 2,4-dihydroxybenzophenone. Agents, UV scatterers, antiperspirants such as aluminum sulfate, chlorohydroxyaluminum, zinc phenolsulfonate, stabilizers, fragrances, etc. may be blended within a range that does not affect the stability of the pest repellent composition for humans. It is possible.
The human pest repellent prepared in this way is water-based, highly safe against fire, and has almost no irritation to the human body. The form of use is not particularly limited, but specific examples of use include a form of filling in a non-aerosol type spray agent or a roll-on type container, a form of impregnating a sheet base material such as a non-woven fabric, and liquefied petroleum. Of course, it is also possible to use gas, dimethyl ether, compressed gas (nitrogen gas, compressed air, etc.) as the propellant to make an aerosol agent, and the range of application is extremely wide.
Then based on the specific examples and test examples will be described in more detail with the human body for the pest repellent of the present invention.
5.0 g of icaridin as a pest repellent component was uniformly dissolved in 55.0 g of brewed ethanol, and then 40.0 g of desalted deep sea water (electrical conductivity: 3.8 mS / m) was added to repel human pests. I got the agent.
This pest repellent composition for human body was uniform and clear even when stored in a constant temperature bath at 5 ° C. and 40 ° C. for 1 month. Next, the pest repellent for the human body was filled in a pressure-accumulation type pump container and used. After applying about 1 mL to the back of the hand and spreading it, the condition of the coated surface after 1 minute was observed, and it was not sticky and had a refreshing feel. Moreover, the pest repelling effect of the coating section in accordance with the present human body for pest repellent lasts up to about 10 hours, during which did not suffer from pests such as mosquitoes.
Various pest repellents for humans shown in Table 1 were prepared according to Example 1, and the tests shown below were carried out.
(1) Usability After applying about 1 mL to the back of the hand and spreading it, the applied surface was touched with a fingertip after 1 minute, and the feel was evaluated. The results are shown in Table 1 by 〇 (with a refreshing feeling), Δ (slightly sticky), and × (sticky, rough skin).
(2) Pest repellent effect test Approximately 3 mL was applied to the arm of the examiner's hand, and the mosquito stood in an outdoor test site where many Aedes lived, and the time until the mosquito stopped on the arm was measured. The test was conducted four times with different testers, and the average duration of pest repellent effect was determined. Table 1 shows the results: ◎ (9 hours or more), ○ (7-9 hours),
It is indicated by Δ (6 to 7 hours) and × (less than 6 hours).
Results of the test, electrical conductivity of 1.5mS / m~30mS / m, preferably human for pest repellent formulated with natural mineral water of 2.5mS / m~15mS / m is applied to the back of the hand When it was put into practical use, it was confirmed that it was not sticky and had a refreshing feel, and that it had an excellent sustainability of the pest repellent effect.
The natural mineral water is preferably water containing desalted deep sea water, and the pest repellent component is IR3535, DEET or p-menthane-3,8 in consideration of the combination with natural mineral water. It was also revealed that icaridin is more suitable for the purpose of the present invention than −diol.
On the other hand, Comparative Examples 1 to 5 (a pest repellent containing deionized water and water whose electrical conductivity falls outside the range of 1.5 mS / m to 30 mS / m) have a feeling of use and a long-lasting pest repellent effect. It was somewhat inferior in that respect.
Further, from the comparison between the product 10 of the present invention and Comparative Example 6, it is possible to increase the blending amount of the pest repellent component and enhance the sustainability of the pest repellent effect even when deionized water is used, but the feeling of use is improved. It is clear that this may lead to a decline and is not always an effective method.
The pest repellent for humans of the present invention may be applicable to pest repellent fields other than those for humans.
