サセプタの一部が炉チャンバの外側に配置される第2の位置にサセプタを位置調整するステップと、を含む。
サセプタに所定の熱容量を提供するステップと、
サセプタを所定の温度まで加熱するステップと、
サセプタの熱容量を用いて物体を焼結温度まで加熱するステップと、を含む。
Claims (10)
- チャンバハウジングと、焼結される物体用の焼結プラットホームとの間に形成された炉チャンバと、前記炉チャンバ内にマイクロ波を放出するように配置されたマイクロ波源とを含むマイクロ波炉であって、前記マイクロ波炉が更に、少なくとも23℃〜700℃の材料の温度範囲にわたってマイクロ波によって加熱される材料を含むサセプタを有しており、前記サセプタ及び前記炉チャンバが、前記サセプタが前記炉チャンバに対して配置された第1の位置と、前記サセプタが前記第1の位置に対して前記炉チャンバから更に後退して配置された第2の位置との間で、互いに対して移動可能である、マイクロ波炉。
- 前記炉チャンバが開放及び閉鎖が可能であり、前記炉チャンバが閉鎖している間に前記サセプタ及び前記焼結プラットホームが互いに対して移動可能である、請求項1に記載のマイクロ波炉。
- 前記サセプタが前記第1の位置において前記炉チャンバ内に延在しており、前記サセプタが前記第2の位置において前記炉チャンバの外側に位置している、請求項1又は2に記載のマイクロ波炉。
- 前記サセプタを、前記第1の位置と前記第2の位置の決められた中間位置に停止させるように構成されている、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ波炉。
- 前記サセプタが前記プラットホームと前記ハウジングとの間の間隙内に配置されている、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ波炉。
- 前記第1の位置にある前記サセプタが前記プラットホームが面している空間を囲んでいる、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ波炉。
- 前記サセプタが炭化ケイ素(SiC)を含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ波炉。
- 前記マイクロ波炉の稼働を制御するための制御システムを有し、前記マイクロ波炉が、前記制御システムの制御により前記サセプタを移動させるように構成されている、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ波炉。
- 前記マイクロ波源が300MHz〜300GHzの周波数の電磁波を発生するマグネトロンを含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ波炉。
- 前記マイクロ波源が、焼結のための前記マイクロ波炉の唯一のエネルギ源である、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ波炉。
