Description
(a)は温度補償なしで走査位相がずれた場合の表示画像を示す。図5(h)で説明したように、往復走査(HscanA、HscanB)における画像の描画開始/終了位置が縦方向に揃わないので、往復走査で描画される画像4a、4bに水平方向に位相ずれが生じ、二重画像が表示される。
Claims (5)
- 画像信号に応じたレーザ光を投射して画像を表示するレーザ投射表示装置において、
レーザ光を出射するレーザ光源と、
前記レーザ光源を駆動する光源駆動部と、
前記光源駆動部に表示用の画像信号を供給する画像処理部と、
前記レーザ光源から出射されたレーザ光を反射し2次元状に走査する走査ミラーと、
前記走査ミラーを2軸方向に回転させる駆動信号を供給するミラー駆動部と、
前記走査ミラーの回転角を検出するセンサと、
前記センサから出力されたセンサ信号に基づき、前記画像処理部と前記ミラー駆動部を制御するシステム制御部と、
前記走査ミラーの近傍に配置された温度計と、
前記温度計で測定した温度により、前記センサ信号を伝送する信号伝送路の伝達特性の温度依存性を補償する温度補償部と、
を備えることを特徴とするレーザ投射表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載のレーザ投射表示装置において、
前記レーザ光源と前記走査ミラーと前記センサは気密構造のハウジングに収納され、
前記温度計は、前記ハウジング内の前記走査ミラーの近傍の空間の温度を非接触で測定し、
前記信号伝送路は、前記センサと前記温度補償部との間の伝送路であり、
前記温度補償部は、前記センサ信号から得られる前記走査ミラーの回転角の振幅および位相を前記センサ信号の検出時の値に復元するような前記振幅の補正量および前記位相の補正量を前記システム制御部に出力することを特徴とするレーザ投射表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載のレーザ投射表示装置において、
前記温度補償部は、前記センサ信号から得られる前記走査ミラーの回転角の振幅と位相を補正するものであって、各温度に対する振幅と位相の補正量を格納するルックアップテーブルを有することを特徴とするレーザ投射表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載のレーザ投射表示装置において、
前記レーザ光源を加熱または冷却する加熱・冷却部と、
前記レーザ光源の近傍の温度が目標温度になるよう前記加熱・冷却部を駆動する温度調整部と、
を備えることを特徴とするレーザ投射表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載のレーザ投射表示装置を有するヘッドアップディスプレイにおいて、
入力した情報をもとに表示する画像信号を生成するとともに、前記画像信号のレベルを調整して前記レーザ投射表示装置に出力する電子制御ユニットを備え、
前記レーザ投射表示装置から前記画像信号に応じたレーザ光を投射して画像を表示することを特徴とするヘッドアップディスプレイ。
