Claims (2)
- 被加工物を切削加工する回転工具の寿命判定方法であって、
前記回転工具を回転駆動する電動機の消費電力値の単位時間毎の増加量ΔPを演算し、
最新の前記増加量ΔPnと1回前の前記増加量ΔPn−1との比率(ΔPn)/(ΔPn−1)がほぼ1になるまでは、前記回転工具の寿命が到来したことの判定を行わず、前記比率(ΔPn)/(ΔPn−1)がほぼ1になった後、前記比率(ΔPn)/(ΔPn−1)がほぼ1でなくなったことが所定時間に亘って連続して検出された時点を、前記回転工具の寿命が到来した時点と判定する回転工具の寿命判定方法。 - 被加工物を切削加工する回転工具の寿命判定装置であって、
前記回転工具を回転駆動する電動機の消費電力値を演算する電力演算部と、
前記電力演算部により演算された前記消費電力値の単位時間毎の増加量ΔPを演算する電力変化量演算部と、
前記電力変化量演算部により演算された最新の前記増加量ΔPnと1回前の前記増加量ΔPn−1との比率(ΔPn)/(ΔPn−1)がほぼ1になるまでは、前記回転工具の寿命が到来したことの判定を行わず、前記比率(ΔPn)/(ΔPn−1)がほぼ1になった後、前記比率(ΔPn)/(ΔPn−1)がほぼ1でなくなったことが所定時間に亘って連続して検出された時点を、前記回転工具の寿命が到来した時点と判定する寿命判定部とを有する回転工具の寿命判定装置。
