積層構造体を挟んでいる、金属製又は合金製のメッシュ、
から構成された、マグネシウム−硫黄二次電池用正極の製造方法であって、
メッシュで積層構造体を挟み、次いで、全体に圧力を加え、正極活物質層とカーボン材料層とを圧着する。

本開示のマグネシウム−硫黄二次電池にあっては、カーボン材料層と電解質層とが対向している形態とすることができる。即ち、正極活物質層、カーボン材料層、電解質層がこの順に配設されており、正極活物質層とカーボン材料層とは密着している形態とすることができる。

マグネシウム−硫黄二次電池を補助電源として使用する場合、主電源はマグネシウム−硫黄二次電池に限られない。
即ち、通常の充電及び放電動作では、制御信号CO及び制御信号DOをローレベルとし、充電制御スイッチ1022及び放電制御スイッチ1024を導通状態とする。そして、例えば過充電若しくは過放電の際には、制御信号CO及び制御信号DOをハイレベルとし、充電制御スイッチ1022及び放電制御スイッチ1024を閉状態とする。

- 正極活物質層とカーボン材料層とは圧着されて成る、請求項1に記載のマグネシウム−硫黄二次電池用正極。
