Description
モウソウチク(千葉県産)、稲藁(福岡県産)、籾殻(福岡県産)を、ウイレーミルにて0.5mm以下に粉砕し、試料とした(ステップ1)。粉砕機、粒度ともにこれには限定されないが、粒度については水との接触性を考え2〜3mmアンダーに粉砕しておくことが好ましい。各試料(原料)の化学成分組成についてはNRELの方法に準じて行い、その結果は図2に示した通りであった。

Claims (8)
- 植物系バイオマスの改質方法であって、
粉末状の前記植物系バイオマスを150〜220℃の反応温度における飽和蒸気圧以上でその飽和蒸気圧の110%以内に加圧された熱水と半回分式で接触させて反応生成物を前記熱水から分離する固液分離を前記反応温度で行うことにより、セルロースおよびリグニンを残した状態でヘミセルロースとともにアルカリおよびアルカリ土類金属を溶出させ、ヘミセルロースを回収するとともに、セルロースおよびリグニンが残り、アルカリおよびアルカリ土類金属が低減された前記反応生成物を得る熱水処理を有する方法。 - 請求項1において、
前記植物系バイオマスは木質系バイオマス、農産廃棄物系バイオマスおよび竹の少なくともいずれかを含む、方法。 - 請求項1または2において、
前記粉末状の植物系バイオマスの長さの最大は5mmである、方法。 - 植物系燃料の製造方法であって、
燃焼用の植物系バイオマスを、請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の改質方法により改質し、前記反応生成物を燃料とすることを含む、方法。 - 炭化物の製造方法であって、
炭化用の植物系バイオマスを、請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の改質方法により改質することと、
前記反応生成物を、不活性ガス下500〜900℃にて炭化することとを含む、方法。 - 植物系燃料であって、
請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の改質方法によりセルロースおよびリグニンを残した状態でヘミセルロースが除去され、
アルカリおよびアルカリ土類金属の最大含有率が5%以下である植物系燃料。 - 請求項6において、
前記植物系燃料は竹を原料としたものであり、アルカリおよびアルカリ土類金属の最大含有率が0.5%である植物系燃料。 - 竹を原料とする炭化物原料であって、
請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の改質方法によりセルロースおよびリグニンを残した状態でヘミセルロースが除去され、
アルカリおよびアルカリ土類金属の合計の最大含有率が0.5%である炭化物原料。
