Description
アルキル硫酸塩界面活性剤を使用して、非高分子、結晶質、及びヒドロキシル官能性構造化剤を乳化して、構造化プレミックスを形成する。非高分子、結晶質、及びヒドロキシル官能性構造化剤は、結晶化可能グリセリドを含む。好ましくは、非高分子、結晶質、及びヒドロキシル含有構造化剤は、水添ヒマシ油(一般的には「HCO」と略記される)若しくはその誘導体を含むか又は更にはこれらから構成される。
本発明の構造化プレミックスは、液体組成物を構造化するために有用である。それゆえ、液体組成物は、本発明の構造化プレミックスを含むことができる。本発明の液体組成物は、典型的に、0.01重量%〜2重量%、好ましくは0.03重量%〜1重量%、より好ましくは0.05重量%〜0.5重量%の構造化プレミックスを介して導入された非高分子、結晶質、及びヒドロキシル含有構造化剤を含む。
本発明の構造化プレミックスは、任意の好適な方法を使用して製造することができる。好ましい方法は、アルキル硫酸塩界面活性剤の水溶液中に非高分子、結晶質、及びヒドロキシル含有構造化剤が含まれるエマルジョンを、80℃〜98℃の第1の温度で製造する工程を含む。
vfは、(供給元によって提供される)静的ミキサーの空隙割合であり、
Dpipeは、静的ミキサー要素を含むパイプの内径であり、
vpipeは、次の等式から算出された、内径Dpipeを有するパイプを通過する流体の平均速度であり、
A)pH測定:
pHは、取扱説明書に従って検量したジェル充填プローブ(例えばToledoプローブ、部品番号52 000 100)付きのSantarius PT−10P pHメータを使用して、25℃で、未希釈組成物に対して測定される。
間隙が300μmの標準的な40mmのスチール平行板を有する、TA Instruments製のAR−G2レオメータが、レオロジー測定に使用される。特に記載のない限り、全ての測定は、25℃で、定常状態の剪断速度で、取扱説明書に従って行われる。
構造化プレミックスを、原子間力顕微鏡法(AFM)を使用して分析した。サンプルは、以下の手順を使用して調製した:片面研磨Siウェハ(<100>、厚さ381マイクロメートル、IDB Technologies,UK供給の2nmの天然酸化物)を、およそ20×20mmの寸法の断片にまず割るか、又は切断する。綿棒(Johnson & Johnson,UK)を使用して、このSiウェハに構造化プレミックスを大量に塗布する。ペーストでコーティングされたウェハを、蓋付きのポリ(スチレン)ペトリ皿(40mmの直径、10mmの高さ、Fisher Scientific,UK)に配置し、周辺条件(18℃、40〜50% RH)下で空気中に5分間放置する。次いで、ペトリ皿にH2O(HPLCグレード、Sigma−Aldrich,UK)を充填させ、サンプルをおよそ1時間浸漬条件に放置する。この後、HPLCグレードH2O下でSiウェハを依然として浸漬させている間に、綿棒を使用して、Siウェハ表面から離れて浮き上がっている構造化プレミックスを除去する。次いで、Siウェハをペトリ皿から取り出し、HPLC級のH2Oですすぐ。その後、Siウェハを35℃のファンオーブンで10分間乾燥させる。
静的乳化デバイスを備える連続方法で、乳化デバイスにおける圧力降下を測定し、この値に流速を乗算し、次いで、デバイスの能動容積(active volume)で除算することによって、エネルギー散逸速度を算出する。バッチタンク又は高剪断ミキサー等の外部電源を介して乳化が行われる場合、エネルギー散逸は、以下の式1を介して算出される(Kowalski,A.J.,2009.,Power consumption of in−line rotor−stator devices.Chem.Eng.Proc.48,581.);

式中、PTは、液体に逆らってロータを回転させるのに必要とされる電力であり、PFは、液体の流れからの追加の電力要件であり、PLは、例えば、軸受、振動、雑音等による電力損失である。
別途指定されない限り、粘度は、角度2°及び間隙206マイクロメートルの円錐平板を備えるAnton Paar MCR 302レオメータ(Anton Paar,Graz,Austria)を使用して測定される。定常状態に達するまで剪断速度を0.01s−1の剪断速度に一定に保ってから、粘度を測定する。次いで、剪断速度を0.0224s−1、0.05s−1、0.11s−1、0.25s−1、0.55s−1、0.255s−1、2.8s−1、6.25s−1、14s−1、31.2s−1、70s−1で測定し、各剪断速度で10秒待機した後で、各測定を行う。全ての測定は、20℃で行った。

Claims (10)
- a)2重量%〜20重量%の非高分子、結晶質、及びヒドロキシル含有構造化剤と、
b)8重量%〜29重量%のアルキル硫酸塩界面活性剤と、
を含み、
前記非高分子、結晶質、及びヒドロキシル含有構造化剤が、水添ヒマシ油である、構造化プレミックス。 - 前記アルキル硫酸塩界面活性剤が、C8〜C24アルキル硫酸塩及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の構造化プレミックス。
- 構造化プレミックスが、2°の角度及び206マイクロメートルの間隙を有する円錐及び平板幾何形状を伴う、Anton Paar MCR 302レオメータ(Anton Paar,Graz,Austria)を使用して、定常状態の剪断速度0.01s−1、25℃で測定した際に、10〜10,000Pa.sの粘度を有する、請求項1又は2に記載の構造化プレミックス。
- 前記構造化プレミックスが、少なくとも1つの微粒子又は液滴を更に含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の構造化プレミックス。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の構造化プレミックスを含む、液体組成物。
- 前記液体組成物が液体洗剤組成物であって、前記液体組成物の1〜70重量%のレベルで存在する少なくとも1つの界面活性剤を含む、請求項5に記載の液体組成物。
- 前記液体組成物が液体洗剤組成物であって、20重量%未満の水を含む、請求項5又は6に記載の液体組成物。
- 前記液体組成物が、請求項4に記載の構造化プレミックスを含み、前記構造化プレミックスに含まれた前記微粒子又は液滴に加えて、微粒子又は液滴を更に含む、請求項5〜7のいずれか一項に記載の液体組成物。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の構造化プレミックスの製造方法であって、
a)アルキル硫酸塩界面活性剤の水溶液中に非高分子、結晶質、及びヒドロキシル含有構造化剤を含むエマルジョンを、80℃〜98℃の第1の温度で製造する工程と、
b)前記エマルジョンを冷却する工程と、
を含む、方法。 - 液体組成物を構造化するための、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の構造化プレミックスの使用。
