Description
本発明の水性構造化プレミックスは、その他の全ての成分の重量パーセンテージを考慮に入れた後に構造化プレミックスの残部を形成する水を含む。水は、好ましくは、水性構造化プレミックスの45重量%〜97重量%、より好ましくは55重量%〜93重量%、更により好ましくは65重量%〜87重量%の濃度で存在する。
本発明の水性構造化プレミックスは液体組成物の構造化に有用である。そのため、液体組成物には、本発明の水性構造化プレミックスを含ませることができる。本発明の液体組成物は、典型的には、水性構造化プレミックスにより持ち込まれた、0.01重量%〜2重量%、好ましくは0.03重量%〜1重量%、より好ましくは0.05重量%〜0.5重量%の非高分子性、結晶質、及びヒドロキシル含有構造剤を含む。
A2は、各場合において、1,2−プロピレン、1,2−ブチレン及び1,2−イソブチレンから選択され、好ましくはA2は、1,2−プロピレンである。A3は1,2−プロピレンであり、Rは、各場合において、水素及びC1〜C4アルキル(メチル、エチル、n−プロピル、イソプロピル、n−ブチル、イソブチル及びtert−ブチルなど)から選択され、好ましくはRは水素である。添え字mは、各場合において、0〜2の値を有し、好ましくは、mは0又は1であり、より好ましくは、mは0である。添え字nは、20〜50の範囲、好ましくは22〜40の範囲、より好ましくは24〜30の範囲の平均値を有する。添え字pは、10〜50の範囲、好ましくは11〜40の範囲、より好ましくは12〜30の範囲の平均値を有する。
本発明の水性構造化プレミックスは、非高分子性、結晶質、及びヒドロキシル含有構造剤を含むエマルジョンを水中で80℃〜98℃の第1の温度で作製する工程と、エマルジョンを10秒間〜10分間にわたって10℃〜60℃の第2の温度に冷却する工程と、エマルジョンを少なくとも2分間にわたって第2の温度で維持する工程と、を含む方法を使用して作製できる。

pHは、取扱説明書にしたがって較正したジェル充填プローブ(例えばToledoプローブ、部品番号52 000 100)を取り付けたSantarius PT−10P pHメーターを用いて、25℃で、未希釈組成物に対して測定する。
レオロジー測定には、300μmの間隔で標準的な40mmのスチール平行板を備える、TA Instruments製のAR−G2レオメーターを用いる。別途記載のない限り、全ての測定は、25℃で、定常状態の剪断速度で、取扱説明書にしたがって行われる。
水性構造化プレミックスは、原子間力顕微鏡(AFM)を使用して解析される。次の手順を使用してサンプルを調製した。片面研磨Siウエファー(<100>、381ミクロン厚さ、IDB Technologies(UK)から供給される2nm自然酸化膜)を、最初に、寸法約20×20mmの細片に砕くか又は切り出した。綿棒(Johnson & Johnson(UK))を使用し、Siウエファーに水性構造化プレミックスを大量に塗布する。ペーストで被覆されたウエファーを、蓋付のポリ(スチレン)ペトリ皿(直径40mm、高さ10mm、Fisher Scientific(UK))に移し、周囲条件(18℃、40〜50% RH)下で空気中に5分間置いた。次にペトリ皿にH2O(HPLC等級、Sigma−Aldrich(UK))を充填し、サンプルを浸漬状態で約1時間置いた。これに続き、HPLC等級のH2OにSiウエファーを浸漬させたまま、Siウエファー表面から浮き上がってきたペーストを綿棒により取り除いた。次に、ペトリ皿からSiウエファーを回収し、HPLC等級のH2Oですすぐ。続いて、Siウエファーを35℃のファンオーブンで10分間乾燥させる。
静的乳化装置を含む連続式方法において、エネルギー散逸率は、乳化装置における圧力降下を測定し、この値に流速を乗じ、その後、装置のアクティブ体積(active volume)で除することによって計算される。バッチタンク又は高剪断ミキサー等の外部電源を介して乳化が行われる場合、エネルギー散逸は、以下の式1を用いて計算される(Kowalski,A.J.,2009.,Power consumption of in−line rotor−stator devices.Chem.Eng.Proc.48,581.);

別途記載のない限り、粘度は、角度2°、及び間隙206ミクロンで配置されたコーンとプレートを備えるAnton Paar MCR 302レオメーター(Anton Paar(Graz,Austria))を使用して測定する。一定速度が得られるまで剪断速度0.01s−1で剪断速度を一定に保持した後、粘度を測定する。次に、0.0224s−1、0.05s−1、0.11s−1、0.25s−1、0.55s−1、0.255s−1、2.8s−1、6.25s−1、14s−1、31.2s−1、70s−1にて剪断速度を測定し、各測定値を採取する前に、各剪断速度にて10秒間待機する。測定は全て20℃で実施した。
90+/−5℃にて水添ヒマシ油を溶解させて、第1の液体を形成した。水中に16.7重量%直鎖アルキルベンゼンスルホン酸(HLAS)及び3.34重量%モノエタノールアミンを含む第2の液体を90+/−5℃で調製した。液体を混合し、11段階からなる内径0.6mm(Ehrfeld(Wendelsheim,Germany))の分割再合流型静的ミキサーを流速10Kg/hrで通過させて、86℃にてエマルジョンを形成する連続的な方法により、第1の液体を4:96で第2の液体中に乳化させた。得られる平均エマルジョンサイズは2.88ミクロンであった。
水中に6.7重量%直鎖アルキルベンゼンスルホン酸(HLAS)及び3.34重量%モノエタノールアミンを含む液体を90+/−5℃で調製した。粒子化した水添ヒマシ油を、撹拌下バッチ式方法にて、4:96の割合で液体にゆっくりと分散させた。一度融解させてから水添ヒマシ油を液体中に乳化させた。次に、温度が40℃に達するまで、1℃/分の速度でエマルジョンをゆっくりと冷却した。次に、水性構造化プレミックスを貯蔵タンクに移送し、室温に冷却した。

Claims (12)
- 水と棒様又は糸様粒子とを含む水性構造化プレミックスであって、前記粒子が水添ヒマシ油を含み、数にして少なくとも90%の前記粒子が0.25ミクロン超2ミクロン未満の長さを有する、水性構造化プレミックス。
- 請求項1に記載の構造化プレミックスの製造方法であって、
a)水添ヒマシ油を含むエマルジョンを水中で80℃〜98℃の第1の温度で作製する工程と、
b)前記エマルジョンを5分未満で15℃〜55℃の第2の温度に冷却する工程と、
c)前記エマルジョンを少なくとも2分間にわたって15℃〜55℃の第2の温度で維持する工程と、
をこの順に含む、方法。 - d)前記水性構造化プレミックスを10℃〜30℃の保存温度で保存する工程、
を更に含む、請求項2に記載の方法。 - 工程(c)において、前記エマルジョンが、2〜30分間にわたって前記第2の温度に維持される、請求項2又は3に記載の方法。
- 工程(a)において、前記エマルジョンが界面活性剤を含む、請求項2〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 工程(a)において、前記エマルジョンが、1×102W/Kg〜1×107W/Kgのエネルギー散逸率を有する高エネルギー分散で前記成分を混合することにより形成される、請求項2〜5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記方法が連続式である、請求項2〜6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1に記載の水性構造化プレミックスを含む、液体組成物。
- 前記液体組成物が、該液体組成物の1〜70重量%の濃度で存在する少なくとも1種の界面活性剤を含む液体洗剤組成物である、請求項8に記載の液体組成物。
- 前記液体洗剤組成物が、両性、双極性、カチオン性界面活性剤、及びこれらの混合物から選択される追加の界面活性剤、酵素、酵素安定化剤、両親媒性アルコキシル化グリース洗浄ポリマー、粘土汚れ洗浄ポリマー、汚れ遊離ポリマー、汚れ懸濁ポリマー、漂白剤系、蛍光増白剤、色相染料、微粒子、香料、及び香料送達系を含むその他の臭気制御剤、ヒドロトロープ、抑泡剤、布地ケア香料、pH調整剤、移染防止剤、保存料、非布地用直接染料、及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される洗剤成分を更に含む、請求項9に記載の液体組成物。
