(式中、n1は第1相2と第2相3との屈折率の比(以下、「相対屈折率」と称する)を表し、dは第1相2または第2相3の厚さを表し、θは反射光の出射角を表す。)
スピンコート法を用いて、ITO犠牲層を有するガラス基板の上に、ポリ(スチレン−b−2−ビニルピリジン)(PS−b−P2VP)の7%PGMEA溶液を塗布し、膜厚800nmの高分子膜を形成した。使用したPS−b−P2VPは、107000の重量平均分子量および1.05の多分散度を有した。また、PS−b−P2VP中のポリスチレン(PS)ブロックの体積分率は0.52であった。また、スピンコート時の回転数は、400rpmであった。
なお、反射波長530nmにおける各層の屈折率を、各厚みを元に推定した。
第1相(ポリスチレン) 屈折率1.59
第2相(ポリビニルピリジン+SiO2) 屈折率1.47
実施例1と同様の手順で、自己組織化させた高分子膜がPET基材に密着した、表示体を作製した。
なお、反射波長560nmにおける各層の屈折率を、各厚みを元に推定した。
第1相(ポリスチレン) 屈折率1.59
第2相(ポリビニルピリジン+TiO2) 屈折率2.26
実施例1と同様の手順で、自己組織化させた高分子膜がPET基材に密着した、表示体を作製した。
なお、反射波長680nmにおける各層の屈折率を、各厚みを元に推定した。
第1相(ポリスチレン) 屈折率1.59
第2相(ポリビニルピリジン+ZrO2) 屈折率2.03
実施例1と同様の手順で、自己組織化させた高分子膜がPET基材に密着した、表示体を作製した。
なお、反射波長400nmにおける各層の屈折率を、各厚みを元に推定した。
第1相(ポリスチレン) 屈折率1.59
第2相(ポリビニルピリジン+SiO2) 屈折率1.48
なお、反射波長530nmにおける各層の屈折率は、実施例1と同様だった。
実施例1と同様の手順で、自己組織化させた高分子膜がPET基材に密着した、表示体を作製した。

Claims (6)
- 所定の波長の光を反射する表示体であって、
基材と、
前記基材上に形成された高分子膜とを備え、
前記高分子膜は、物性の異なる第1相と第2相の2種類の高分子相が交互に積層された構造を有し、
前記高分子膜はブロック共重合体を含み、前記ブロック共重合体の1つまたは複数のブロックが前記第1相を構成し、前記ブロック共重合体の前記第1相を構成するブロックとは異なるブロックが前記第2相を構成し、
前記第1相および前記第2相の少なくとも一方が、液状物質の湿潤により膨潤する性質を有し、
前記第1相および前記第2相の少なくとも一方が、金属酸化物を含むことにより前記表示体が前記所定の波長の光を反射し、前記第1相および前記第2相の少なくとも一方が膨潤した際に、前記表示体の反射光の波長が変化することを特徴とする、表示体。 - 前記高分子膜は、ラメラ状のミクロ相分離構造を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表示体。
- 前記ブロック共重合体は、前記第1相を構成する前記ブロック共重合体の1つまたは複数のブロックの体積分率が0.35以上0.65未満の範囲内であることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の表示体。
- 前記ブロック共重合体は、60000以上の重量平均分子量を有することを特徴とする、請求項1から請求項3のいずれかに記載の表示体。
- 前記高分子膜が400nm以上5000nm以下の膜厚を有することを特徴とする、請求項1から請求項4のいずれかに記載の表示体。
- 前記第1相および前記第2相の少なくとも金属酸化物を含む相の一部または全体が架橋されていることを特徴とする、請求項1から請求項5のいずれかに記載の表示体。
