MRI適合刺激プログラムを発生させることは、第1の組の刺激パラメータをプロセッサによって修正して、第2の組の刺激パラメータを発生させることを含み、第2の組の刺激パラメータを発生させることは、(1)第1の組の刺激パラメータのうちの少なくとも1つの刺激パラメータの値を減少させること、及び、(2)第1の組の電極において、電気刺激システムの埋込み可能なパルス発生器のケース電極をリードの複数の電極のうちの少なくとも1つと交換すること、の少なくとも一方によって行われ、
前記プロセッサは、更に、患者への電気刺激を生成するために、MRI適合刺激プログラムを電気刺激システムの埋込み可能なパルス発生器に提供する信号を開始するように構成される、システム。 - 前記プロセッサは、更に、第1の刺激プログラムのためのエネルギ消費を示す値を決定するように構成され、
