Description
本開示は、第1のエアロゾルを形成するためにコーティング材料をエアロゾル化するステップと、第2のエアロゾルを形成するために検体粒子を含むエアロゾルを提供するステップと、第1のエアロゾルおよび第2のエアロゾルを受け取る音響コータを提供するステップと、 第1のエアロゾルを第2のエアロゾルの粒子に衝突させて、第2のエアロゾルの粒子上に第1のエアロゾルのコーティングを形成するように、音響コータに音響場を提供するステップとを有する方法を実現する。コーティング材料は、固体粒子および固体粒子の混合物の少なくとも1つを有する。固体粒子は、1マイクロメートル未満の粒子サイズの金属粉末を有する。この混合物は、金属粉末および非金属粉末を有する。金属粉末は、コバルト粉末を有する。

検体粒子を有するサンプリングされたエアロゾルを提供して第2のエアロゾルを形成するステップと、
上記第1のエアロゾルおよび上記第2のエアロゾルを受け取るための音響コータを提供するステップと、
上記第2のエアロゾルの粒子上に第1のエアロゾルのコーティングを形成するために、上記第1のエアロゾルを上記第2のエアロゾルの粒子にオンザフライで衝突させるように上記音響コータに音響場を提供するステップと、
上記コーティングされたエアロゾル粒子を質量分析計において分析するステップとを有することを特徴とする、上記方法。 - 上記MALDIマトリックス溶液が、2,5−ジヒドロキシ安息香酸、α−シアノ−4−ヒドロキシ桂皮酸、3,5−ジメトキシ−4−ヒドロキシ桂皮酸、2−メルカプト−4,5−ジヒドロキシ安息香酸、1,8−ジヒドロキシアントラセン−9(10H)−オン、3−メトキシ−4−ヒドロキシ桂皮酸、2,4,6−トリヒドロキシアセトフェノン、2−(4−ヒドロキシフェニルアゾ)−安息香酸、トランス−3−インドールアクリル酸、4−ヒドロキシ−3−メトキシ安息香酸、6−アザ−2−チオチミン、2−アミノ−4−メチル−5−ニトロピリジン、4−ニトロアニリン、1,5−ジアミノナフタレン、5−フルオロサリチル酸、5−クロロサリチル酸、5−ブロモサリチル酸、5−ヨードサリチル酸、5−メチルサリチル酸、5−アミノサリチル酸、および1,8−ジアミノナフタレンのうちの少なくとも1つを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。

検体粒子を有するサンプリングされたエアロゾルを提供して第2のエアロゾルを形成するステップと、
上記第1のエアロゾルおよび上記第2のエアロゾルを受け取るための音響コータを提供するステップと、
上記第2のエアロゾルの粒子上に上記第1のエアロゾルのコーティングを有するMALDIマトリックス・コーティングされたエアロゾル粒子を形成するために、上記第1のエアロゾルを上記第2のエアロゾルの粒子にオンザフライで衝突させるように上記音響コータに音響場を提供するステップと、
上記MALDIマトリックス・コーティングされたエアロゾル粒子によって形成される分析対象コーティングをMALDIプレートに設けるステップと、
上記MALDIプレートに設けられた分析対象コーティングを質量分析計において分析するステップとを有することを特徴とする、上記方法。 - 上記質量分析計で分析する前に上記分析対象コーティングを乾燥させる乾燥ステップをさらに有する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- サンプリングされたエアロゾル中に存在する粒子を同定するための装置であって、
液体粒子の第1のエアロゾルを形成するためにMALDIマトリックス溶液をエアロゾル化するための噴霧器と、
上記噴霧器と流体連通し、上記第1のエアロゾルおよび検体粒子を含有するサンプリングされたエアロゾルを受け取るように構成された音響コータとを有し、
上記音響コータに音響場を印加して、上記第1のエアロゾルが、上記サンプリングされたエアロゾル中の上記検体粒子に衝突するようにして、上記検体粒子上に上記第1のエアロゾルのコーティングを有する、MALDIマトリックスでコーティングされたエアロゾル粒子を形成し、
さらに、上記MALDIマトリックスでコーティングされたエアロゾル粒子を分析することができる質量分析計を有することを特徴とする、上記装置。 - 上記質量分析計が、エアロゾル飛行時間型質量分析計(ATOFMS)である、請求項9に記載の装置。
