Description
図1を参照して、溶着装置は、製袋機に組み込まれている。製袋機は、溶着面100を有する連続状の帯状部材1、および、プラスチックからなる連続状のフィルム2によってプラスチック袋を製造する。
図4の通り、この実施形態では、加熱装置3の上流に、ガイドローラ60が配置されている。帯状部材1が、ガイドローラ60によって案内され、その溶着面100がフィルム2に接触するようにフィルム2に重ねられる。したがって、帯状部材1およびフィルム2は、互いに重ねられた状態で搬送され加熱装置3を通過する。
図6Aは、本実施形態で用いられる帯状部材1を示す。帯状部材1は、互いに着脱可能に嵌め合わされた雄部材1aおよび雌部材1bを含むジッパーである。帯状部材1は、雄部材1aおよび雌部材1bが互いに嵌め合わされた状態でその長さ方向に搬送される。
参考例は、溶着装置を提供する。上記実施形態から、赤外光源を有する溶着装置が、上述の溶着方法を実施するのに適していることは明らかである。但し、赤外光源だけの加熱によって溶着面を溶融することもできる。すなわち、参考例の溶着装置は、加熱装置3および加圧装置5を備え、レーザ装置を備えていない。

Claims (18)
- 少なくとも1つの溶着面を有する連続状の帯状部材をその長さ方向に搬送しながら、前記溶着面を加熱して溶融し、前記溶着面を、プラスチックからなる少なくとも1枚の連続状のフィルムに溶着する溶着方法であって、
前記帯状部材をその長さ方向に搬送しながら少なくとも1つの加熱源によって前記溶着面を加熱し、前記加熱源は、前記帯状部材の搬送経路に沿ってのびており、前記加熱源の前記溶着面への加熱エネルギーは、前記帯状部材の搬送方向に次第に強くなっており、
前記溶着面を前記加熱源によって加熱した後、前記帯状部材をその長さ方向に搬送しながら少なくとも1つのレーザビームを前記溶着面に照射して前記レーザビームによって前記溶着面をさらに加熱し、
前記レーザビームによって前記溶着面をさらに加熱するときまたは加熱した後、前記帯状部材および前記フィルムを互いに重ね合わせた状態で搬送しながら前記帯状部材および前記フィルムを加圧して前記溶着面を前記フィルムに溶着する、
ことを特徴とする溶着方法。 - 前記レーザビームによって前記溶着面をさらに加熱するとき、前記帯状部材および前記フィルムを加圧して前記溶着面を前記フィルムに溶着する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の溶着方法。 - 前記加熱源は、多波長の赤外線を放射する赤外光源であり、
前記溶着方法は、前記赤外線を前記溶着面へ照射し、前記赤外線によって前記溶着面を加熱する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の溶着方法。 - 前記赤外線を吸収する赤外線吸収層が、前記帯状部材の前記溶着面側に設けられている、
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の溶着方法。 - 前記赤外線を、前記溶着面側から前記溶着面に照射する、
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の溶着方法。 - 前記赤外線を、前記溶着面とは反対側から前記溶着面に照射する、
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の溶着方法。 - 前記赤外線を、前記帯状部材に重ねられた前記フィルムを透過させて前記溶着面に照射する、
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の溶着方法。 - 前記溶着面が前記加熱源によって加熱されているとき、前記帯状部材および前記フィルムは互いに重ね合わされた状態で搬送される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の溶着方法。 - 前記帯状部材は、
前記溶着面を有する基部と、
前記溶着面と反対側において前記基部から突出する嵌合部と、を含み、
前記溶着方法は、
前記帯状部材の搬送経路に沿ってのびるガイド溝を有するガイドを、40℃以上100℃以下の範囲内の温度に調整し、
前記溶着面を前記加熱源によって加熱するとき、前記嵌合部を前記ガイド溝に受容して、前記帯状部材がその幅方向に移動するのを抑制する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の溶着方法。 - 前記溶着方法は、
テンションを前記帯状部材および前記フィルムに、膨らんだ湾曲面の下流から付与し、前記帯状部材および前記フィルムを、前記湾曲面に係合させ、前記湾曲面に押し付けて、前記湾曲面において加圧して前記溶着面を前記フィルムに溶着する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の溶着方法。 - 前記帯状部材は、前記溶着面として第1溶着面および第2溶着面を含み、
前記フィルムとして、第1フィルムおよび第2フィルムが用いられ、
前記加熱源として、第1加熱源および第2加熱源が用いられ、
前記レーザビームとして、第1レーザビームおよび第2レーザビームが用いられ、
前記溶着方法は、
前記帯状部材をその長さ方向に搬送しながら、前記第1加熱源によって前記第1溶着面を加熱するとともに前記第2加熱源によって前記第2溶着面を加熱し、
前記第1および第2加熱源を用いて前記第1および第2溶着面を加熱した後、前記帯状部材をその長さ方向に搬送しながら、前記第1レーザビームを前記第1溶着面に照射して前記第1レーザビームによって前記第1溶着面をさらに加熱するとともに、前記第2レーザビームを前記第2溶着面に照射して前記第2レーザビームによって前記第2溶着面をさらに加熱し、
前記第1および第2溶着面を前記第1および第2レーザビームによってさらに加熱するときまたは加熱した後、前記帯状部材、および、前記第1および第2フィルムを、前記帯状部材が前記第1および第2フィルムで挟まれた状態で搬送しながら、加圧して、前記第1溶着面を前記第1フィルムに溶着するとともに前記第2溶着面を前記第2フィルムに溶着する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の溶着方法。 - 少なくとも1つの溶着面を有する連続状の帯状部材がその長さ方向に搬送されているとき、前記溶着面を加熱して溶融し、前記溶着面をプラスチックからなる少なくとも1枚の連続状のフィルムに溶着する溶着装置であって、
前記帯状部材の搬送経路に沿ってのびるように配置されて赤外線を放射する少なくとも1つの赤外光源を含み、前記長さ方向に搬送されている前記帯状部材の前記溶着面に前記赤外線を照射して前記溶着面を前記赤外線によって加熱する加熱装置と、
互いに重ね合わされた状態で前記長さ方向に搬送されている前記帯状部材および前記フィルムを加圧し、前記加熱装置によって加熱された前記溶着面を前記フィルムに溶着する加圧装置と、を備え、
前記赤外光源の前記溶着面への加熱エネルギーが前記帯状部材の搬送方向に次第に強くなるように、前記加熱装置が構成されており、
前記溶着装置は、さらに、
レーザビームを放射する少なくとも1つのレーザ光源を含み、前記レーザビームを前記長さ方向に搬送されている前記帯状部材の前記溶着面に照射して、前記加熱装置によって加熱された前記溶着面を、前記レーザビームによってさらに加熱して溶融するレーザ装置を備える、
ことを特徴とする溶着装置。 - 前記加熱装置は、集光面を有する集光ブロックをさらに含み、前記集光面は、凹んだ曲面として形成され、前記搬送経路に沿ってのびており、前記赤外線は、前記赤外光源から放射され、前記集光面によって反射され、前記赤外光源から距離L、離れた位置に集光され、
前記溶着面と前記赤外光源との距離が前記赤外光源の下流端位置において前記距離Lに最も近づくように、前記赤外光源および前記集光ブロックは傾斜して配置されている、
ことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の溶着装置。 - 前記赤外光源は、多波長の赤外線を放射する赤外光源であり、
前記赤外光源は、ハロゲンランプ、カンタルヒーター、セラミックヒーター、または赤外LEDである、
ことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の溶着装置。 - 前記帯状部材は、
前記溶着面を有する基部と、
前記溶着面と反対側において前記基部から突出する嵌合部と、を含み、
前記加熱装置は、
前記帯状部材の搬送経路に沿ってのび、前記溶着面を前記赤外線によって加熱するとき前記嵌合部を受容するガイド溝を有するガイドと、
前記ガイドを、40℃以上100℃以下の範囲内の温度に調整する調整装置と、をさらに含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の溶着装置。 - 前記帯状部材は、前記溶着面として第1溶着面および第2溶着面を含み、
前記加熱装置は、前記赤外光源として第1赤外光源および第2赤外光源を含み、
前記第1赤外光源および前記第2赤外光源は、前記帯状部材の搬送経路を間にして互いに対向して配置され、
前記加熱装置は、前記第1赤外光源によって前記第1溶着面を加熱し、前記第2赤外光源によって前記第2溶着面を加熱する、
ことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の溶着装置。 - 前記加圧装置は、
膨らんだ湾曲面を有する係合部材と、
テンションを前記帯状部材および前記フィルムに前記湾曲面の下流から付与し、前記帯状部材および前記フィルムを、前記湾曲面に係合させ、前記湾曲面に押し付けるテンション付与機構と、を含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の溶着装置。 - 前記赤外光源の下流部分は、前記湾曲面と対向している、
ことを特徴とする請求項17に記載の溶着装置。
