Claims (22)
- 電気的に動作するエアロゾル発生システムで使用するためのエアロゾル形成カートリッジであって、前記カートリッジが、
基層と、
前記基層上に配置され、少なくとも1つのエアロゾル形成基体から放出可能な揮発性たばこ風味化合物を有するたばこ含有材料を含む、前記少なくとも1つのエアロゾル形成基体と、
前記基層に固定され、かつ、前記少なくとも1つのエアロゾル形成基体の少なくとも一部分の上にあるカバー層とを含み、
前記基層および前記少なくとも1つのエアロゾル形成基体が、実質的に平面の接触面で接触する、エアロゾル形成カートリッジ。 - 前記カバー層は、前記エアロゾル形成基体によって放出されるエアロゾルが前記カバー層を通過できるようにする少なくとも1つのガス浸透性の窓を含む、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル形成カートリッジ。
- 前記少なくとも1つのエアロゾル形成基体の少なくとも一部分上に位置付けられた保護箔を更に含み、前記保護箔は前記カバー層に取り外し可能なように取り付けられる、請求項2に記載のエアロゾル形成カートリッジ。
- 前記基層および前記少なくとも1つのエアロゾル形成基体の一方または両方が実質的に平面である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のエアロゾル形成カートリッジ。
- 前記基層が少なくとも1つのくぼみを含み、また前記少なくとも1つのエアロゾル形成基体が前記少なくとも1つのくぼみ内に保持される、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のエアロゾル形成カートリッジ。
- 前記少なくとも1つのエアロゾル形成基体が、前記基層上に別々に配置された複数のエアロゾル形成基体を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のエアロゾル形成カートリッジ。
- 前記基層が複数のくぼみを含み、また前記複数のエアロゾル形成基体のそれぞれが前記複数のくぼみの1つ内に保持される、請求項6に記載のエアロゾル形成カートリッジ。
- 前記少なくとも1つのエアロゾル形成基体を加熱するように配置されている少なくとも1つの発熱体を含む電気ヒーターをさらに含み、前記電気ヒーターと、前記基層および前記少なくとも1つのエアロゾル形成基体のうち一方または両方との間の接触面が実質的に平面であり、前記基層および前記少なくとも1つのエアロゾル形成基体の間の前記接触面に対して実質的に平行である、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のエアロゾル形成カートリッジ。
- 前記少なくとも1つのエアロゾル形成基体が、前記基層上に別々に配置されている複数のエアロゾル形成基体を含み、また前記電気ヒーターが前記複数のエアロゾル形成基体のうちの異なる1つを加熱するよう配置されている複数の発熱体を含む、請求項8に記載のエアロゾル形成カートリッジ。
- 前記カートリッジが一体型のマウスピース部分をさらに含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載のエアロゾル形成カートリッジ。
- 前記カートリッジが、前記マウスピース部分の下流端での前記引き出し抵抗が、約50mmWG〜約130mmWG、好ましくは約80mmWG〜約120mmWG、より好ましくは約90mmWG〜約110mmWG、最も好ましくは約95mmWG〜約105mmWGであるように配置される、請求項10に記載のエアロゾル形成カートリッジ。
- 電気的に動作するエアロゾル形成システムであって、エアロゾル発生装置と、請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載のエアロゾル形成カートリッジと、前記少なくとも1つのエアロゾル形成基体を気化するための電気気化器とを含み、前記装置が、
前記エアロゾル形成カートリッジを取り外し可能なように受けるスロット型の容器を画定する本体と、
電力を前記気化器に供給するための電源とを備える、エアロゾル形成システム。 - 電気的に動作するエアロゾル発生システムで使用するためのエアロゾル形成カートリッジの製造方法であって、
基層を提供する工程と、
前記基層および少なくとも1つのエアロゾル形成基体が実質的に平面である接触面で結合するように、前記少なくとも1つのエアロゾル形成基体を前記基層上に配置する工程であって、前記エアロゾル形成基体が、加熱に伴い前記エアロゾル形成基体から放出される揮発性たばこ風味化合物を有するたばこ含有材料を含む、前記配置する工程と、
前記少なくとも1つのエアロゾル形成基体の少なくとも一部分の上にカバー層を設け、前記カバー層を前記基層に取り付ける工程とを含む方法。 - 前記カバー層は、前記エアロゾル形成基体によって放出されるエアロゾルが前記カバー層を通過できるようにする少なくとも1つのガス浸透性の窓を含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つのエアロゾル形成基体の少なくとも一部分上に保護箔を設け、前記保護層を前記カバー層に取り外し可能なように取り付けることを更に含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1つのくぼみを前記基層内に形成する工程を含み、少なくとも1つのエアロゾル形成基体を前記基層内に配置する前記工程が、前記少なくとも1つのエアロゾル形成基体を前記少なくとも1つのくぼみ内に配置することにより実行される、請求項13〜15のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 電気ヒーターおよび前記基層が、実質的に平面であり、かつ前記基層と前記少なくとも1つのエアロゾル形成基体との間で実質的に平行である接触面と接触する、前記電気ヒーターを前記基層に取り付ける工程をさらに含む、請求項13〜16のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 電気ヒーターを取り付ける前記工程が、電気ヒーター箔のウェブをボビンから前記組立ラインに供給し、前記電気ヒーター箔の前記ウェブを横方向に切断して個別の電気ヒーターを形成することで実行される、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記電気ヒーター箔のウェブが、複数の発熱体が取り付けられた電気的に絶縁された基体箔のウェブを含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 基層を提供する前記工程が、基層箔のウェブをボビンから前記組立ラインに供給し、前記基層箔のウェブを横方向に切断して個別の基層を形成する工程を含む、請求項13〜19のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記電気ヒーター箔のウェブ、または前記基層箔のウェブ、または前記電気ヒーター箔のウェブおよび前記基層箔のウェブの両方が、各カートリッジの幅よりも大きな幅を持ち、各カートリッジの前記幅よりも約2倍〜約50倍であることが好ましく、また複数のエアロゾル形成カートリッジが並列である、請求項18〜20のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記カートリッジが作成される2つ以上の箔のウェブがまとめて積層される、請求項18〜21のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
