Description
創傷床が健全であれば、治癒は最適化される。したがって、本発明の目的は、治癒のための創傷床を調製することによって、身体の治癒過程を援助する被覆材を提供することである。吸収性の被覆材は、体液を吸収し、創傷床から遠ざけて、浸軟および肉芽過形成を防止するのに極めて重要である。
脱落組織および壊死組織を破壊すると、創傷治癒が改良されるだけでなく、滲出液の容量が増加する。これを、健全な皮膚に対する損傷を防止するために注意深く監視しなければならない。好ましくは、被覆材料は、膨潤を軽減し、創傷床への血液供給を改良する、創傷床からの浮腫の排出も援助するべきである。
吸収性不織布材料の層は、一緒にニードルパンチされて単層を形成する2つ以上の吸収性不織布材料の薄層を含んでいてもよい。
吸収層はまた、ビスコースおよびポリエステル繊維と混合されたまたは織り込まれた、7から25%の間のキチン繊維を好ましくは含んでいてもよく、該キチン繊維は1.5から2.5dtexの間の線密度を有する。

キチン繊維の長さは、約30から70mmの間、好ましくは約60mmであってもよい。
2つの層が、一緒にニードルパンチされて1つの層を形成する場合、パンチ密度は、250から380パンチ/平方センチメートルの間、好ましくは約320パンチ/平方センチメートルであってもよい。
例1および2は、本発明による約10倍の質量吸収能を有する創傷被覆材であり、これは、層厚約3〜5mmの約700〜750グラム/平方メートルの吸収性不織布材料を含み、この層は、70%のビスコース繊維および30%のポリエステル繊維の混合物を含む。
