- 体外血液温度制御のためのシステムであって、前記システムは、
少なくとも流体を冷却するための熱交換器であって、流体を含有するためのタンクを含む、熱交換器と、
熱交換モジュールであって、互いに流体連通不能である第1のチャンバおよび第2のチャンバを有する熱交換モジュールと、
流体ポンプであって、前記熱交換器の前記タンクを通って前記流体を循環させるために同熱交換器の同タンクと流体連通可能に接続されており、かつ前記熱交換モジュールの前記第1のチャンバを通って前記流体を循環させるために同熱交換モジュールの同第1のチャンバと流体連通可能に接続されている流体ポンプと、
血液ポンプであって、第1の血流ラインと、前記熱交換モジュールの前記第2のチャンバと、第2の血流ラインと、を通って血液を流すように構成されている血液ポンプと、
第1のコントローラと、
を含み、
前記熱交換器は、前記タンク内の流体を冷却するように構成されており、
前記タンクは前記熱交換モジュールの前記第1のチャンバと流体連通可能に接続されており、
前記流体ポンプが前記熱交換モジュールの第1のチャンバから流体を引き込むと同熱交換モジュールの同第1のチャンバ内が陰圧になり、それにより前記流体が前記タンクから前記熱交換モジュールの前記第1のチャンバを通って流体ポンプへと引き込まれ、
前記第1のコントローラは、前記熱交換モジュールの第1のチャンバを通って循環される前記流体と熱交換モジュールの第2のチャンバを通って流れる前記血液との間の熱交換のために、少なくとも前記タンクに含まれる流体の冷却を所望の温度に制御するために少なくとも前記熱交換器を動作させるための出力信号を提供し、それにより循環される血液の冷却を提供し、
前記熱交換器は、冷却器タンクと、前記タンク内の流体を前記冷却器タンクに圧送するための混合ポンプと、冷却器ポンプと、前記冷却器タンク内の流体を冷却するための冷却器と、をさらに含む、システム。 - 前記タンクは、前記流体ポンプの出口ポートおよび前記熱交換モジュールの前記第1のチャンバの入口ポートと、それぞれ別個に流体連通可能に接続されており、熱交換モジュールの出口ポートは、前記流体ポンプの入口ポートと互いに流体連通可能に接続されている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムは、前記循環される流体の温度を検出し、それを示す第1の流体温度信号を提供するための第1の流体温度センサをさらに含み、前記第1のコントローラは、前記出力信号を生成するために前記第1の流体温度信号を使用するべく提供される、システム。
- 請求項3に記載のシステムは、前記熱交換モジュールの第2のチャンバを通って流れる前記血液の温度を検出し、それを示す血液温度信号を提供するための血液温度センサをさらに含み、前記第1のコントローラは、前記血液ポンプの動作時に使用するための出力信号を提供するために前記血液温度信号を使用するべく提供される、システム。
- 前記第1のコントローラは、検出した患者温度を示す患者温度信号を受け取り、前記出力信号を生成するために、前記第1の流体温度信号とともに前記患者温度信号を使用するべくさらに提供される、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1の血流ライン及び前記第2の血流ラインと互いに流体連通可能であるか、若しくは相互に連結されており、患者の血管系から前記熱交換モジュールの前記第2のチャンバを通って流れる前記血液を受け取り、かつ前記熱交換モジュールの前記第2のチャンバを通って流れる前記血液を前記患者の血管系へ戻すマルチルーメンカテーテルをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記マルチルーメンカテーテルは、
第1のポートおよび第2のポートを少なくとも有するカテーテル部と、
前記第1のポートと流体連通可能に接続されるとともに前記第1の血流ラインと流体連通可能に接続されるか若しくは相互に接続されている端部を有する第1のルーメンと、
前記第2のポートと流体連通可能に接続されるとともに前記第2の血流ラインと流体連通可能に接続されるか若しくは相互に接続されている端部を有する第2のルーメンと、を含む、請求項6に記載のシステム。 - 前記マルチルーメンカテーテルの前記カテーテル部は第3のポートをさらに含み、前記マルチルーメンカテーテルはさらに、
前記第3のポートと流体連通可能に接続されるとともに、選択的に、任意の構成要素と流体連通可能に接続される端部を有する第3のルーメンを含み、

- 前記システムは、前記熱交換モジュールの前記第2のチャンバを通る血流の速度よりも少なくとも5倍速い速度で前記熱交換モジュールの前記第1のチャンバを通る流体の循環を提供することができる、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記熱交換モジュールは、50ml/分〜300ml/分の血流の速度にわたって熱交換性能係数N>0.8を提供され、ここで、
