Description
《態様1》
以下を含む、ファインバブル化した気相反応体と液相反応体とを反応させるための反応装置:
複数の流路を有し、前記流路が多孔質壁で隔てられている多孔質体であって、前記多孔質壁が、連続気孔を有し、少なくともその表面に反応触媒を含む多孔質体、
気相反応体と液相反応体とを含む溶液を前記多孔質体の連続気孔に供給するための溶液供給部、及び
前記多孔質体の連続気孔を流通して得られた反応物を含む溶液を排出させるための溶液排出部。
《態様2》
前記多孔質体のパームポロメーターによって測定される平均流量径が、5μm以上100μm以下である、態様1に記載の反応装置。
《態様3》
前記複数の流路が、複数の入口流路及び複数の出口流路で構成されており、前記溶液の実質的にすべての量が、前記入口流路に流入し、前記多孔質体の連続気孔を流通し、前記出口流路から流出する、態様1に記載の反応装置。
《態様4》
前記反応触媒が、触媒金属及び前記触媒金属を担持している無機酸化物を含む触媒層に存在している、態様1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の反応装置。
《態様5》
以下を含む、反応方法:
態様1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の反応装置の前記溶液供給部から、気相反応体と液相反応体とを含む溶液を供給すること、及び
前記供給した溶液を、前記多孔質体の連続気孔に流通させて、反応物を含む溶液を前記溶液排出部から得ること。
《態様6》
前記気相反応体の少なくとも一部が、前記溶液を前記多孔質体の連続気孔に流通させる前に、ファインバブル化されている、態様5に記載の反応方法。
《態様7》
前記気相反応体が、酸素又は水素を含む、態様5又は6に記載の反応方法。
本発明の反応装置は、ファインバブル化した気相反応体と液相反応体とを反応させるための反応装置であって、複数の流路を有し、流路が多孔質壁で隔てられている多孔質体、気相反応体と液相反応体とを含む溶液を多孔質体の連続気孔に供給するための溶液供給部、及び多孔質体の連続気孔を流通して得られた反応物を含む溶液を排出させるための溶液排出部を含む。
本発明において用いられる多孔質体は、複数の流路を有し、流路が多孔質壁で隔てられている多孔質体であって、連続気孔を有し、少なくともその表面に反応触媒を含んでいれば特に限定されない。溶液が、流路を通過する際に多孔質壁に接触し、その連続気孔を通過することによって、局所的に液体の流速が高くなり、すなわち局所的に動圧が高くなると共に静圧が低くなり、ファインバブルが発生すると考えられる。連続気孔は、不規則形状であってもよい。
本発明の装置で用いられる溶液供給部は、多孔質体の連続気孔に溶液を供給する事ができれば特に限定されない。溶液排出部についても、多孔質体の連続気孔を流通した、反応物を含む溶液を排出させることができれば、特に限定されない。
本発明の反応方法は、上記のような反応装置の溶液供給部から、気相反応体と液相反応体とを含む溶液を供給すること、及び供給した溶液を、多孔質体の連続気孔に流通させて、反応物を含む溶液を溶液排出部から得ることを含む。
図3に記載のような反応装置を構成し、気相反応体である水素で、液相反応体であるスチレンを水素化して、エチルベンゼンを得る反応を行った。スチレンのメタノール溶液を5ml/minで供給し、マスフローコントローラで制御しながら水素を2.5ml/min(基質に対して1当量)でガスボンベから供給した。バックプレッシャーレギュレーター(BPR)で圧力を4MPaに制御しながら、反応管(25℃、常圧)に溶液を導入した。
上記の実験Aと同様にして、トルエンを水素化して、メチルシクロヘキサンを得る反応を行った。

Claims (7)
- 以下を含む、ファインバブル化した気相反応体と液相反応体とを反応させるための反応装置:
複数の流路を有し、前記流路が多孔質壁で隔てられている多孔質体であって、前記多孔質壁が、連続気孔を有し、少なくともその表面に反応触媒を含む多孔質体、
気相反応体と液相反応体とを含む溶液を前記多孔質体の連続気孔に供給するための溶液供給部、及び
前記多孔質体の連続気孔を流通して得られた反応物を含む溶液を排出させるための溶液排出部。 - 前記多孔質体のパームポロメーターによって測定される平均流量径が、5μm以上100μm以下である、請求項1に記載の反応装置。
- 前記複数の流路が、複数の入口流路及び複数の出口流路で構成されており、前記溶液の実質的にすべての量が、前記入口流路に流入し、前記多孔質体の連続気孔を流通し、前記出口流路から流出する、請求項1に記載の反応装置。
- 前記反応触媒が、触媒金属及び前記触媒金属を担持している無機酸化物を含む触媒層に存在している、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の反応装置。
- 以下を含む、反応方法:
請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の反応装置の前記溶液供給部から、気相反応体と液相反応体とを含む溶液を供給すること、及び
前記供給した溶液を、前記多孔質体の連続気孔に流通させて、反応物を含む溶液を前記溶液排出部から得ること。 - 前記気相反応体の少なくとも一部が、前記溶液を前記多孔質体の連続気孔に流通させる前に、ファインバブル化されている、請求項5に記載の反応方法。
- 前記気相反応体が、酸素又は水素を含む、請求項5又は6に記載の反応方法。
