(1)可動イオンが、前記第1の透明導電層の中に移動することか、
(2)Agが、エレクトロクロミック層もしくは対向電極層の中に移動することか、または
(1)及び(2)の両方を防止するための手段と、を備える、エレクトロクロミックデバイス。

第1の透明導電層が、エレクトロクロミック層及び対向電極層のうちの一方に連結され、第2の透明導電層が、エレクトロクロミック層及び対向電極層の他方に連結されている、実施形態1または2に記載のエレクトロクロミックデバイス。
基板を提供することと、
基板上にエレクトロクロミック層または対向電極層を形成することであって、エレクトロクロミック層または対向電極層を形成後、エレクトロクロミック層または対向電極層が可動イオンを含む、形成することと、
基板上にバリア層を形成することと、
基板上にあり、Agを含む第1の透明導電層を形成することと、を含み、
バリア層を形成することが、エレクトロクロミック層または対向電極層を形成することと、第1の透明導電層を形成することとの間に形成される、プロセス。
他のエレクトロクロミック層または対向電極層を形成することと、
第2の透明導電層を形成することと、をさらに含み、
第1の透明導電層が、エレクトロクロミック層及び対向電極層のうちの一方に連結され、第2の透明導電層が、エレクトロクロミック層及び対向電極層の他方に連結されている、実施形態4〜15のいずれか一項に記載のエレクトロクロミックデバイス。
Claims (14)
- エレクトロクロミックデバイスであって、
基板と、
前記基板上のエレクトロクロミック層または対向電極層であって、可動イオンを含むエレクトロクロミック層または対向電極層と、
前記基板上にあり、Agを含む第1の透明導電層と、
第1の透明導電層と、前記エレクトロクロミック層または対向電極層との間に配置されたバリア層と、を備え、バリア層は、Agのエレクトロクロミック層への移動を防止する手段を有し、
前記第1の透明導電層は、スタック構造を有し、かつ、前記バリア層が、前記第1の透明導電層内の前記Agから隔置されている、エレクトロクロミックデバイス。 - 前記バリア層が、共形的である、請求項1に記載のエレクトロクロミックデバイス。
- 前記バリア層が、5nm〜200nm、11nm〜100nm、または15nm〜80nmの範囲の厚さを有する、請求項1に記載のエレクトロクロミックデバイス。
- 前記Agと前記バリア層との間に、第1の透明導電性酸化物をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のエレクトロクロミックデバイス。
- 前記エレクトロクロミックデバイスが、
前記第1の透明導電層と、
前記バリア層と、
前記エレクトロクロミック層と、
前記対向電極層と、
第2の透明導電層と、を備えるエレクトロクロミックスタックを含み、
前記第1の透明導電層が、前記エレクトロクロミック層及び前記対向電極層のうちの一方に連結され、前記第2の透明導電層が、前記エレクトロクロミック層及び前記対向電極層の他方に連結されている、請求項1に記載のエレクトロクロミックデバイス。 - 前記バリア層が、金属酸化物を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のエレクトロクロミックデバイス。
- 前記バリア層が、Al2O3を含む、請求項6に記載のエレクトロクロミックデバイス。
- 前記バリア層が、TiO2を含む、請求項6に記載のエレクトロクロミックデバイス。
- エレクトロクロミックデバイスであって、
基板と、
前記基板上のエレクトロクロミック層または対向電極層であって、可動イオンを含むエレクトロクロミック層または対向電極層と、
前記基板上にあり、Agを含む第1の透明導電層と、
手段であって、
(1)前記可動イオンが、前記第1の透明導電層の中に移動することか、
(2)Agが、前記エレクトロクロミック層もしくは対向電極層の中に移動することか、または
(1)及び(2)の両方を防止するための手段と、を備え、
前記第1の透明導電層は、スタック構造を有し、かつ、前記手段が、前記第1の透明導電層内の前記Agから隔置されている、エレクトロクロミックデバイス。 - エレクトロクロミックデバイスを形成するプロセスであって、
基板を提供することと、
前記基板上にエレクトロクロミック層または対向電極層を形成することであって、前記エレクトロクロミック層または前記対向電極層を形成後、前記エレクトロクロミック層または対向電極層が可動イオンを含む、形成することと、
前記基板上にバリア層を形成することと、
前記基板上にあり、Agを含む第1の透明導電層を形成することと、を含み、
前記バリア層を形成することが、前記エレクトロクロミック層または対向電極層を形成することと、前記第1の透明導電層を形成することとの間に形成され、
前記第1の透明導電層は、スタック構造を有し、かつ、前記バリア層が、前記第1の透明導電層内の前記Agから隔置されている、プロセス。 - 前記バリア層を形成することが、有機金属化合物、金属ハロゲン化物、または金属カルボニル化合物を含む金属含有前駆体を使用して実施される、請求項10に記載のプロセス。
- 前記有機金属化合物が、金属アルキル化合物、金属アルコキシド化合物、またはジアルキルアミノ金属を含み、各アルキル基またはアルコキシド基が、4個以下の炭素原子を有する、請求項11に記載のプロセス。
- 前記バリア層を形成することが、H2O、H2O2、O2、もしくはO3、またはそれらの任意の組み合わせを使用して実施される、請求項12に記載のプロセス。
- 前記バリア層を形成することが、原子層堆積法を使用して実施される、請求項10〜13のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。
