Description
Claims (7)
- 第1の回転軸を中心に回転するように構成された第1のローラであって、第1の表面に前記第1の回転軸を横切って配置された複数の溝を有しており、前記複数の溝の各々は、前記第1の表面から遠ざかるように延びる1対のフィンによって囲まれている第1のローラと、
前記第1のローラに対して反対向きに回転するように構成され、前記第1のローラに対して反対向きに回転するときに前記溝と整列する方向に沿って配置された複数のチャネルを第2の表面に有している第2のローラと
を備えており、
前記第1および第2のローラは、前記第1のローラの前記複数の溝が前記第2のローラの前記複数のチャネルと結合することで複数の囲いが形成されるように互いに整列する、霧化装置であって、
前記ローラのうちの少なくとも一方のローラの少なくとも表面を供給流体で被覆するように構成された流体源
をさらに備えており、
前記第1および第2のローラの前記結合した表面の各々の間にニップが定められ、前記供給流体は、前記第1および第2のローラが反対向きに回転するときに各々のニップの下流側において前記流体が引き延ばされるように、各々のニップを通って上流側から下流側へと引っ張られ、
複数の空気管をさらに備えており、各々の空気管は、前記複数の囲いのうちの対応する1つを通って延び、前記複数のニップの下流側へと向けられた空気をもたらすように構成されている、霧化装置。 - 前記複数の空気管は、共通のマニホールドに接続されている、請求項1に記載の霧化装置。
- 前記流体源は、複数の供給管を共通の供給流体配送レールに流体連通させて有している供給システムであり、前記複数の供給管は、前記第1のローラに整列させられ、少なくとも前記共通の供給流体配送レールからの供給流体を前記第1のローラの前記第1の表面に付着させるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の霧化装置。
- 前記共通の供給流体配送レールは、前記供給流体を加熱するように構成されている、請求項3に記載の霧化装置。
- 第1の回転軸を中心に回転するように構成された第1のローラであって、第1の表面に前記第1の回転軸を横切って配置された複数の溝を有しており、前記溝は前記第1の表面から遠ざかるように延びる1対のフィンによって囲まれている第1のローラと、前記第1のローラに対して反対向きに回転するときに前記溝と整列する方向に沿って配置された複数のチャネルを第2の表面に有している第2のローラと、を含む1対の反対向きに回転するローラであって、前記第1および第2のローラは、前記第1のローラの前記複数の溝が前記第2のローラの前記複数のチャネルと結合することで複数の囲いが形成され、前記第1のローラの前記第1の表面と前記第2のローラの前記第2の表面との間に複数のニップが定められるように互いに整列させられている1対の反対向きに回転するローラを使用して、流体を霧化させる方法であって、
流体源から前記流体を、上流側および下流側を有している前記複数のニップを通って引き込むステップと、
前記複数のニップの下流側において前記1対の反対向きに回転するローラの遠ざかる表面の間で前記流体を引き延ばし、複数の流体フィラメントを形成するステップと、
複数の空気管から少なくとも空気を吐出させるステップであって、各々の空気管は、前記複数の囲いのうちの対応する1つを通って延び、前記複数のニップの各々の下流側へと空気を導く、前記ステップと、
前記複数のニップの下流側において前記1対の反対向きに回転するローラの遠ざかる表面の間で前記引き延ばされる複数の流体フィラメントから複数の流体液滴を形成するステップと
を含む流体を霧化させる方法。 - 供給システムから前記流体を送り出すステップ
をさらに含んでおり、
前記供給システムは、複数の供給管を共通の供給流体配送レールに流体連通させて備えており、前記複数の供給管は、前記第1のローラの前記第1の表面に整列させられ、少なくとも前記第1のローラの前記第1の表面へと前記流体を送り出すように構成されている、請求項5に記載の液体を霧化させる方法。 - 前記流体を加熱するステップをさらに含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
