Claims (7)
- 原稿を照射する光源と、
該光源から原稿に照射された光の反射光を画像光として結像させる光学系と、
該光学系によって結像された画像光を電気信号に変換する複数の結像領域が主走査方向に隣接して配置されたセンサーと、
前記光源、前記光学系、及び前記センサーを収納する筐体と、
を備え、
前記光学系は、
反射面が非球面形状の凹面である複数の反射ミラーが主走査方向にアレイ状に連結されたミラーアレイと、
前記各反射ミラーと前記センサーの前記各結像領域との間にそれぞれ設けられ、前記各反射ミラーで反射された画像光の光量を調整する複数の絞り部と、
を備え、主走査方向の一点で前記筐体に固定されており、
前記各反射ミラーの前記各結像領域に対する結像倍率は縮小倍率に設定されており、
前記センサーから前記絞り部の方向に延在し、前記各結像領域に入射する迷光を遮光する複数の遮光壁が設けられており、
前記各遮光壁は、前記各結像領域の境界から前記光学系の固定側と逆方向に所定量ずれた位置に配置されており、
前記各遮光壁は、環境温度変化による前記光学系の主走査方向の伸縮量に基づいて前記各結像領域の境界からのずれ量が決定され、
前記各遮光壁は、以下の式(1)で算出される前記光学系の固定側への収縮量z1と前記光学系の非固定側への膨張量z2との差分z2−z1だけ前記各結像領域の境界から前記光学系の固定側と逆方向にずれた位置に配置されることを特徴とする読取モジュール。

ただし、
x;光学系の固定位置から遮光壁までの距離
Δt;25℃からの環境温度の変化量
α;光学系を形成する樹脂材料の線膨張係数
である。 - 前記光学系は、前記ミラーアレイの原稿側で画像光が光軸と平行となるテレセントリック光学系であり、前記センサー上に倒立像を結像することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の読取モジュール。
- 前記センサーの前記各結像領域で読み取った画像データを前記縮小倍率に応じてデータ補間して倍率拡大補正を行い、データを反転させて正立画像とした後、各結像領域の画像を結合することで原稿に対応した読取画像を構成することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の読取モジュール。
- 前記各反射ミラーに向かう画像光の光路と前記絞り部に向かう画像光の光路は同一方向であり、前記各反射ミラーで反射された画像光を前記絞り部の方向に折り返す折り返しミラーが前記ミラーアレイと対向する位置に配置されており、
前記折り返しミラーは、前記各反射ミラーに向かう画像光の折り返しと、前記各反射ミラーで反射されて前記絞り部に向かう画像光の折り返しを含めて、同一の反射面で画像光を2回以上折り返すことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれかに記載の読取モジュール。 - 前記ミラーアレイと前記絞り部とが一体形成されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の読取モジュール。
- 画像読取部の上面に固定されたコンタクトガラスと、
該コンタクトガラスに対して上方に開閉可能であり、原稿を前記コンタクトガラスの画像読取位置に搬送する原稿搬送装置と、
前記コンタクトガラスの下方に副走査方向に往復移動可能に配置される請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれかに記載の前記読取モジュールと、
を備え、
前記読取モジュールは、前記コンタクトガラス上に載置される原稿の画像を副走査方向に移動しながら読み取り可能であり、且つ、前記画像読取位置に搬送される原稿の画像を前記画像読取位置に対向する位置に停止した状態で読み取り可能である画像読取装置。 - 請求項6に記載の画像読取装置が搭載された画像形成装置。
